- Chapter 13 - It Will Be Hard Work for You, Master, to Roll With Me
He looked up at the sky and sighed, “Mother, I want to go home.”
However, he could not go home. He had been abducted by Bian Menghan to the territory of the demon race.
Bian Menghan strode into his sleeping quarters and gently placed Shi Changting on his bed.
In the next second, Shi Changting shrank back into the bed, trying to put some distance between himself and the person in front of him.
He knew this bed.
This was the luxury bed he had spent several days painstakingly designing for his two protagonists.
Now, he was the one sleeping in it.
Great, truly great.
Shi Changting’s heart was bleeding.
He was the one who wrote it, and now he was the one living in it. Who else could have such a privilege?
Bian Menghan knelt halfway on the bed, leaning in close with a look of eerie happiness on his face. “Master, please rest here first. This disciple has something to attend to and cannot accompany you for now.”
Earlier, in the dimly lit inn, and having been carried bridal-style for the entire journey, Shi Changting had been too embarrassed to look closely. Only now did he truly see the person before him.
It was clearly the same person, yet Bian Menghan was now drenched in blood, his eyes bloodshot, and demonic energy roiled around him like a precursor to an explosion. He had grown much taller than he had been a month ago, and his temperament had become mature, gloomy, dark, and profound. The innocent and harmless appearance was completely gone.
What on earth had happened?
What could have occurred in this short amount of time to cause such an earth-shattering change in a person?
Give him back his righteous and upright, big-eyed, adorable disciple!
“Why is Master looking at me like that?” Perhaps his gaze was too obvious, as Bian Menghan smiled meaningfully. “What is Master thinking about?”
I am thinking about the previous version of you! Come back!
But he did not dare voice his true thoughts, so he simply said, “It is so late, yet you are still going out. What is it for?”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Shi Changting regretted it so much he wanted to slap himself.
Given the time and the atmosphere, saying this sounded incredibly strange. It was like a newlywed wife complaining about her husband who had to go out in the middle of the night, asking when he would be back.
Sure enough, upon hearing this, Bian Menghan’s eyes dimmed instantly. “Do not worry, Master. It is nothing major. I will return as quickly as possible. If Master is tired, please go to sleep; you do not need to wait for me.”
As if it is not a major event!
Darn it! Who wants to wait for you!
Shi Changting was annoyed to death, but he did not dare to say anything else.
The more you say, the more you err.
“However,” Bian Menghan smiled slightly, his blood-red eyes filled with a chill that made one’s teeth ache. “Master must not think of escaping. Otherwise, this disciple will be very angry.”
What happens if you get angry?
Shi Changting bit his lower lip hard but did not dare to ask. He had a hunch that it would be something outrageous again.
It was better not to listen.
Silence. A deathly silence filled the room.
After waiting a long time for a response, Bian Menghan’s patience finally ran out. His face turned as dark as ink, and his demonic energy stirred. “Master, do you intend to give me the silent treatment?”
Shi Changting’s brain was a mess, and he turned his head away, not wanting to meet Bian Menghan’s eyes.
Bian Menghan’s gaze sank. He grabbed the other man’s ankle and dragged Shi Changting toward him in one violent motion.
“Ah!”
Shi Changting could not help but scream.
Bian Menghan’s large hand gripped his chin, forcing him to look up.
He stroked Shi Changting’s fair skin with affection, bit by bit: his cheek, his lips, his neck.
Bian Menghan took a deep breath, trying to make his tone gentler, but the cold glint in his eyes could not be shaken off no matter what. “Speak, Master.”
“Speak, I want to hear it.”
“Master, this disciple will say it one more time. Do not provoke me. Otherwise, I am afraid I might frighten you.”
Shi Changting’s shoulders began to tremble.
Frighten? Frighten in what way? It wouldn’t be what I am thinking, right?
He must have been triggered and become overly sensitive today, because he kept thinking in that direction.
Bian Menghan saw every shift in Shi Changting’s expression. He suddenly smiled, looking extremely wicked. “Master, do not be afraid. This disciple can still barely hold back for now.”
Shi Changting: Darn it! He is actually threatening him!
“However, if Master has any needs, this disciple will certainly be honored to fulfill them.”
“Get lost!”
“I will get lost right now. I am getting lost. However,” a playful glint flashed across Bian Menghan’s face, and he said eerily, “It will be hard work for you, Master, to roll with this disciple.”
Roll your mother!
Bian Menghan left.
He was all alone in the massive room.
He sat on the bed, dazed, beginning to ponder if there was any room for things to turn around.
His innocent, adorable disciple had turned into a yandere pervert in the blink of an eye. His hard work had gone up in smoke, the plot had returned to square one, and it was even worse than before.
Now that they had already kissed, wouldn’t the next step be…
No, no!
Countless images flashed through Shi Changting’s mind, and he could not help but feel a chill.
The explicit content in the book was all written by him personally. He had exhausted every brain cell, looking up references and drawing inspiration, and its brilliance was unprecedented. Even he himself only dared to peek through his fingers when he looked back at it; that should tell you enough.
If he had to experience all of it, he wouldn’t die, but it would cost him his life.
Thinking of this, Shi Changting no longer hesitated. He tossed Bian Menghan’s warning about not escaping to the back of his mind.
Ridiculous! If not now, when else should he run!
Shi Changting rushed out of the sleeping quarters without hesitation. He found that outside, there were layers upon layers of demonic cultivators standing guard. Although their strength was far inferior to his, their sheer numbers made them quite troublesome to deal with.
A demonic cultivator, who was clearly the leader, stepped forward. “Immortal Venerable, the Young Master said to ask you to stay in the sleeping quarters until he returns.”
Shi Changting frowned, displeased. “What if I want to go out?”
The leader, named Ying Zhou, was Bian Menghan’s confidant. Standing tall, he looked at Shi Changting and said rigidly, “The Young Master said that when he returns, he will take you out himself.”
Shi Changting was almost angered to the point of laughter.
He truly was trained by Bian Menghan—like master, like disciple—stubborn as a rock.
Shi Changting did not waste any more breath. He summoned his sword and pointed the tip directly at the opponent. “Move!”
Ying Zhou did not budge an inch. “My duty is at hand; please forgive me for not being able to comply!”
Shi Changting gripped the sword hilt tightly, his arm muscles taut, concentrating his power at the tip of the sword. With a low roar, he slashed his sword, unleashing a sharp wave of energy. Amidst the flashing light, it seemed as if countless shadows were dancing, creating a dizzying sight.
He forced Ying Zhou back.
Ying Zhou gestured for the other demonic cultivators to move forward.
“Immortal Venerable, do not resist any further. We do not want to hurt you!”
Do not want to? It is more like you cannot.
Shi Changting mobilized his entire spiritual energy, turning himself into the center of a whirlwind. With a cold and ethereal temperament like an immortal, his robes fluttering and his hair flying, his white ribbon dancing around his body, he appeared to possess a breathtaking beauty.
The subordinates were stunned for a second.
Yet, in that fleeting moment, the demonic cultivators closest to him were instantly shredded by Shi Changting’s spiritual power. The next second, pieces of clothing rained down from the sky.
This move effectively intimidated them, and the remaining demonic cultivators retreated in unison, trying to avoid his sharp edge. Shi Changting seized the opportunity to fly out of the encirclement and sprinted off into the distance.
Goodbye to you all!
