After Being Cheated, I Had a Flash Marriage with My Ex's Aunt - Chapter 47
Before Li Sui could even reach the bed, Shuyi—as if unable to wait a second longer—reached out with her long arm and gave a sharp tug.
Li Sui fell onto the mattress, caught completely off guard. Her instinct was to struggle, but Shuyi’s body was firmly pressing her down, pinning her so she couldn’t move an inch. Panic flickered in her chest, but then her eyes met Shuyi’s—they were sparkling with a mix of playfulness and deep, intense affection.
It took Li Sui a long moment to find her bearings. They were so close. Shuyi’s hot breath fanned across her cheek, making her face burn.
Trying to feign composure, she whispered, “Isn’t it… a bit early?”
According to her usual internal clock, going to sleep now felt premature. Shuyi gazed at her with singular focus, then slowly pressed her lips against the side of her cheek. Her voice was a low, tender thrum. “In that case, how about we watch something interesting first? To set the mood.”
“Watch what?” Li Sui’s eyelashes fluttered. Her voice was light, betraying a hint of anticipation.
Setting the mood? This sounds promising.
“Follow me,” Shuyi said, taking her hand and leading her out.
Li Sui felt a bit puzzled but picked up her pace with a smile, following her to the door of the upstairs media room. Inside, Li Sui’s heart did a little somersault. Oh ho, she thought, is it going to be a horror movie? She imagined them clinging to each other in fear while the screen flickered with jump scares…
But as soon as she followed Shuyi inside, she realized she was very, very wrong.
The lights were dim. A massive white screen covered the wall, and the projector was playing a “small movie” that looked exceptionally familiar. Li Sui froze.
Isn’t this one of the three videos Mimi sent me recently?
Her heart rate spiked. She felt a wave of embarrassment so acute she wanted to vanish through the floorboards. She remembered almost being caught by Shuyi while watching this very video before, and those indescribable, intimate images immediately flooded her mind.
“Let’s watch a movie first. We can… find some inspiration,” Shuyi said with a perfectly straight face, her eyes on her phone as she adjusted the settings.
Li Sui tried to remain calm, tentatively testing the waters. “This… Sister Shuyi, do you watch these often?”
“No,” Shuyi replied, a smirk playing on her lips. “I noticed you seemed to like this one last time, so I went looking for it online. I actually don’t know what the content is yet.”
Li Sui: “…”
What the content is? It’s rated 18+. It’s the kind of restricted content minors aren’t allowed to see. It’s a self-recorded video of one of the hottest lesbian couples in the community. As for ‘content’… there is no plot. It’s just pure, unadulterated spice.
Her toes curled with embarrassment. She tried to save face. “Actually… Mimi shared it with me. She said it was trending. I haven’t had a chance to see what it’s about yet.”
“Then it’s perfect. We can watch it together.” Shuyi sat down beside her and took her hand, her eyes fixed on the screen.
Li Sui: “…” Someone, save me.
The content playing was indeed intimate, and her awkwardness was equally real. As the background music swelled, Li Sui felt a desperate urge to hide. She raised her hands to cover her face, trying to escape.
Shuyi noticed. Seeing Li Sui bowing her head and refusing to look at the screen, she guessed the girl had been lying—she’d definitely seen it before. She probably even remembered the lines.
Both women remained silent, the only sound being the two women on screen adjusting their camera, their voices mixing with the soft music as they began to flirt. By the time the movie reached the point where the couple was laughing and kissing, the atmosphere in the media room began to shift.
Li Sui’s face was a deep crimson. She instinctively grabbed a throw pillow and hugged it tight, wishing she could bury her head in it forever. She was agonizingly aware of Shuyi beside her. What is she thinking right now?
When she cautiously stole a glance at Shuyi, she was caught red-handed. Her heart began to beat in an erratic, stuttering rhythm. Shuyi slowly reached out and pulled her into an embrace, letting her lean against her chest.
On the screen, the kiss had become deep and breathless. The sounds were… very provocative.
“Do you understand now?” Shuyi asked, her cheek brushing against Li Sui’s as she whispered directly into her ear.
Li Sui’s heart thundered. Her voice was like a tiny mosquito. “…Mhm.”
Normally, she might have been a bit bolder, but right now her thoughts were a jumbled mess. She just wanted to run back to the safety of the covers.
Shuyi’s gaze darkened. Her arm around Li Sui’s waist tightened. “Sui Sui,” she whispered, her voice light but heavy with intent. “Let’s do it, too.”
“Mhm?” Li Sui looked up, her eyes a bit dazed.
Taking advantage of her confusion, Shuyi leaned in and firmly sealed her lips with a kiss. Li Sui’s eyes widened, her brain short-circuiting as a shiver ran down her spine. This is… a real kiss?
It took a few seconds for Li Sui to remember to close her eyes. Her breath was being stolen away. A tongue brushed against her lips, testing the entrance.
On the screen, the two women were progressing far faster than Li Sui and Shuyi; they were already at the stage of exploration. Meanwhile, the two in the media room were still taking turns kissing, like two clumsy students.
The sounds of heavy breathing from the movie filled the room, adding a layer of intensity to the mood. It made everything feel incredibly immersive. Li Sui felt her head spinning and her body going numb with a tingling sensation. She began to respond to Shuyi with focus, her waist instinctively arching toward her. They drew closer and closer.
This wasn’t the first time Shuyi had been this close to her—the memory of that night at the Xiamen guesthouse was still vivid. She was trying to recreate that memory, greedily and tirelessly. She moved cautiously, unwilling to let go, her kisses becoming more feverish and intense. Li Sui felt her strength leaving her; her body was turning soft.
Suddenly, Brrrring, brrrring! A phone rang.
Li Sui’s scalp went numb with a jolt of shock. I forgot my phone was in my pocket! Why did I bring it? She immediately remembered the time in the study when they’d been interrupted by a similar call. Her good mood evaporated instantly. Shuyi glanced at the phone on the sofa, her expression flickering with irritation. The ringing was definitely an obstacle.
Realizing Li Sui was distracted, Shuyi hugged her even tighter. “Ignore it…” she whispered, sounding a bit pained. “No matter who it is, ignore it.”
The room wasn’t quiet to begin with, and with the movie playing, one phone call shouldn’t have mattered much. Shuyi had a smile in her eyes; she wasn’t about to let Li Sui go.
Li Sui put up a small resistance, but Shuyi was persistent. Kisses began to fall on her neck like rain—dense and thorough. Shuyi kissed her a few more times, but noticing the girl was staring blankly at the noisy phone with a flushed face, she realized Li Sui was actually annoyed.
Shuyi sighed and picked up the phone. Seeing the caller ID, she felt a slight wave of relief. It was Mimi.
Li Sui looked up at her, her lips looking a bit swollen from the kissing. “Should I answer?”
“If you don’t want to, don’t,” Shuyi said, pinching her cheek. Before Li Sui could decide, Shuyi leaned in and stole another quick kiss, taking full advantage of the situation.

Mimi had been waiting for Qiao Zui’s reply all day. Ten minutes ago, the hacker had finally sent over a full dossier on Cheng Nai. Seeing her background and history, Mimi felt a massive weight lift from her shoulders.
Cheng Nai’s parents had divorced when she was very young, and she lived with her mother. Mimi was now certain the woman on the phone was Cheng Nai’s mom. Looking at the address and realizing it wasn’t far, Mimi had a sudden, desperate urge to go there right now.
Usually, Mimi would discuss things with Li Sui first. This time was no different. But she’d been calling for a while, and Li Sui hadn’t picked up. Since she was in her new villa and the walk was short, she decided to try one more time as she put on her coat.
The call connected.
The background noise on the other end was chaotic—it sounded like a series of heavy, rhythmic breaths. Mimi listened closely, recognized the “dialogue” in the background, and blurted out: “Sui Sui? Why are you watching porn at this hour? Is your Lawyer Bai not home?”
The only response was the sounds of the “small movie.” Mimi felt a bit embarrassed, but the more she listened, the weirder it felt.
“Mimi…”
Li Sui’s clear, slightly breathless voice came through the noise. “Mimi? What were you saying? Is something wrong?”
Mimi blinked and let out a little cough. “I found Cheng Nai’s home address. I wanted to ask if I should just go there. It’s better to say everything face-to-face, right?”
There was no immediate answer from Li Sui—only the shameless, intimate sounds from the movie.
“Hello? Sui Sui? Are you listening?”
“Yes…” There was a scuffling sound, like a phone dropping on the floor, followed by Li Sui’s hurried voice. “Yes, I am! What did you say? You have her address?”
“Yeah…”
Mimi was about to say something more when she heard words through the receiver that made her want to sink through the floor.
“Nngh… not here…”
“Sister Shuyi, you…”
Mimi: “…”
She had thought Li Sui was just watching a “small movie” by herself for a little late-night entertainment, but it turned out she was very much participating in the entertainment. Mimi felt her own face burning just listening.
“Sorry, Mimi, I’m a bit… occupied right now. Let’s talk later.”
Click. Beep—beep—beep—
Mimi stared at her phone as the line went dead, her mouth twitching. She couldn’t help but marvel at the situation. It was her own fault for calling so late and interrupting.
That’s some rich nightlife, she thought, feeling a twinge of genuine envy.

At the Cheng Residence.
Cheng Nai opened her eyes to a pitch-black bedroom. In a fit of frustration, she slammed her pillow against the mattress before getting up to try the window again. It remained stubbornly locked, not moving a fraction of an inch.
She did what she had done every night for the last five days: she pulled out a small pocketknife and tried to jemmy the frame.
Five days ago, Cheng Nai had received an urgent call from her mother, Cheng Xiaozhen, claiming there was a family emergency. She had rushed home in a panic, only to be interrogated the moment she stepped through the door. Her mother demanded to know if she had “gone bad” and started “keeping a little lover.”
Cheng Nai had stammered for a long time. She knew her mother would find out eventually, but she hadn’t expected it to happen so soon. When she tried to explain that she and Li Mimi were in a serious, committed relationship, her mother refused to listen. She just muttered about how Cheng Nai was deliberately defying her now that her “wings had grown strong.”
Without another word, she ordered the servants to lock Cheng Nai in her bedroom. Her phone was confiscated, and the internet in the room was cut. Every day, a servant delivered food and required reading at specific times. Aside from this room, she was allowed nowhere.
She was trapped, completely cut off from the outside world.
Because of her father’s infidelity, her mother had been left heartbroken after a bitter divorce. She had fought for custody and raised Cheng Nai with an intensely controlling hand. From her daily routine to her academic path—even forcing her into extracurriculars she hated—Cheng Nai had to obey. Most strictly of all, her mother controlled her social circle, especially her interactions with boys.
Ironically, Cheng Nai had never been interested in boys. Deep down, she was rebellious, but she often felt sorry for her mother. She knew how hard it had been for her to raise her alone and recognized that her mother was mentally unwell, so she did her best not to trigger her.
For years, she had complied with every demand. But her mother’s “love” felt like an invisible shackle, suffocating her bit by bit. She wanted to move out, raise cats and dogs, and live with the person she loved. She craved freedom.
In these five days, there wasn’t a moment she didn’t miss Li Mimi. She wondered what Mimi was thinking. With the sudden loss of contact, Mimi probably assumed she wanted to break up. I hope she doesn’t hate me, she thought, or I won’t be able to bear it.
Their time together had been short, but it was the happiest she had ever been. She knew Mimi only had a “fondness” for her and perhaps wasn’t in love yet, but for Cheng Nai, this was everything.
Suddenly, footsteps echoed outside. Cheng Nai bolted upright. The lock turned with a heavy clack. Light spilled into the room as the overhead lamp flicked on, blindingly bright.
Cheng Nai shielded her eyes, waiting to adjust. When she finally looked up, she met her mother’s face—twisted with a cold, simmering rage.
Cheng Xiaozhen looked around the room. Aside from the messy bed, the rest of the space was tidy. She was surprised that after five days of confinement, her daughter hadn’t thrown a tantrum. She walked over to the desk chair and sat down, staring at her daughter.
“Do you know what you did wrong?”
“I do.” Cheng Nai anticipated the lecture. She repeated her explanation calmly. “But Mom, I’m not ‘keeping’ her. We are in a proper relationship.”
“Still lying!” Xiaozhen snatched a stack of documents from a maid and slammed them onto the desk. “Look at your bank statements! You’ve spent nearly ten million yuan this month! If your cousin hadn’t let it slip, I wouldn’t have known you were doing something so disgraceful! Keeping a woman who only knows how to spend your money… Is this how I raised you? You can’t trust anyone! Everyone who gets close to you has an agenda!”
Xiaozhen’s voice grew shrill with anger, grating on Cheng Nai’s nerves.
“I’ve known her for a long time,” Cheng Nai said, feeling a deep sense of powerlessness but trying to remain rational. “She doesn’t lack money. I wanted to give it to her. I know why you’re angry, but I’m an adult now. I—”
“Yes, you’re an adult!” Xiaozhen shrieked, her emotions spiraling out of control. She threw the documents directly at Cheng Nai’s face. “An adult with strong wings, using the money I earned to support another woman! You’re just like your damn father! A white-eyed wolf from the day you were born!”
“Then why did you even give birth to me?!” Cheng Nai recoiled as the papers hit her, her eyes instantly welling with tears. Her voice broke. “I didn’t cause your marriage to fail! I’ve obeyed you my whole life! Now I just want to love the person I want and choose the life I want!”
SLAP.
The sound of the palm hitting her cheek was sharp. Driven by a flashpoint of fury at her daughter’s defiance, Xiaozhen had stood up and struck her. She immediately froze, looking startled by her own action.
Cheng Nai’s face burned, her head swimming. In all her years, she had rarely been hit. It reminded her of a time in school when she was bullied; her mother had handled it “properly” in front of the teacher, only to slap her the moment they got home, claiming she had “embarrassed” her.
Cheng Nai’s nose stung. she looked up, her red eyes filled with a tragic clarity. “You’ve always known, haven’t you? That I’m an ‘ungrateful wolf.’ If you hate me so much, why keep me tied to your side? Or are you still hoping my father will come back to you through me?”
Xiaozhen glared at her, her hand raised again. “Say one more word and I’ll—”
“Hit me then! Do it!” Cheng Nai turned her other cheek toward her with a bitter laugh. “You can always find a reason. I don’t want to resent you, but I am a human being, not a pet you’re raising!”
With those words, Cheng Nai turned and began frantically packing a suitcase.
“You want to move out?” Xiaozhen’s face was distorted with rage. She grabbed the suitcase, trying to pull it away. “Your heart left this house long ago, didn’t it? If you walk out that door tonight, don’t you dare ever come back!”
“Then I won’t come back.” Cheng Nai let go of the suitcase, feeling a sudden, strange sense of relief. Her voice was stubborn and thick with tears. “You probably don’t want an ungrateful daughter anyway. Fine. Every cent you’ve ever spent on me, I will pay you back. Take care of yourself.”
She didn’t look back as she sprinted for the door. Xiaozhen chased her to the hallway, shouting at the servants, “Don’t stop her! Let her go!”
She wanted to see how her rebellious daughter would survive in the middle of the night with no money, running to a “lover” she was supposed to be supporting. She wanted her to learn that the world wouldn’t coddle her or plan her life for her the way she had.
The housekeeper looked at the scene in distress. “Madam, why push the young miss so far? It’s dangerous out there at night…”
Xiaozhen looked down at her stinging palm. Her eyes regained their usual cold composure. “From this moment on, cut off all her financial sources.”

Back at Li Sui’s Villa.
“What do you think Mimi thinks of me now?” Li Sui whispered, leaning into Shuyi’s embrace. She held Shuyi’s hand, lacing their fingers together, her mind still on that awkward phone call.
Shuyi had deliberately teased her during the call, making it impossible for her to get a coherent word out. The “small movie” on the big screen had been paused during their heated moment, and the image was frozen on a shot of a flickering, romantic scented candle.
“She won’t think anything bad,” Shuyi said tenderly, her tone perfectly serious, though she added a mental note: From now on, the phones go on airplane mode during this time.
“Mhm,” Li Sui yawned, clinging to Shuyi as sleepiness finally took over. “Let’s go to the bed. I’m so tired.”
“Okay.”
The moment the bedroom lights went out, Li Sui felt her body go heavy with exhaustion. Her brain was too foggy to think of anything else.
“Goodnight,” Shuyi whispered, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.
A beautiful thought bloomed in Shuyi’s mind. Since she and Sui Sui were building their feelings, why not make the most of it? She wanted to express her heart to Li Sui properly, cherishing every second. She was certain now—Sui Sui was the most important person in her life. She wanted only her.
She decided to plan something formal and perfect to tell her. Feeling a surge of joy that chased away all sleepiness, Shuyi slipped out of bed and headed to the study to start drafting a detailed plan.
