- Chapter 61 - Cold Professor X Sweet Beauty (Finale)
Lin Nanyue opened her eyes. In the darkness, she could only see by the faint light filtering through the half-closed French windows in the living room.
She leaned one hand against the dining table, tilting her head slightly back. Her gaze toward Su Mi carried a hint of looking upward from a lower position.
Prepared?
A trace of confusion appeared in Lin Nanyue’s affectionate eyes. “I’ve always been prepared.”
As soon as she spoke, Su Mi leaned to the side and pulled out a wet wipe. She looked down and meticulously wiped her beautiful hands, paying special attention to her long, slender fingers.
Lin Nanyue thought Professor Su’s slight germaphobia was acting up and foolishly asked, “Do you need me to help you wipe?”
Su Mi looked up at her, tossed the used wipe onto the table, and leaned in, pressing her body against her.
Lin Nanyue quickly forgot about that little interlude.
The fingers that had been wiped were slightly cool.
Su Mi’s gentle, fine kisses fell upon her, and her grip tightened slightly.
The damp, warm sensation made Lin Nanyue clench her fingers. She couldn’t help but shrink back in avoidance, her body shifting an inch back on the table.
This seemed different from what she had imagined. The two had been intimate many times recently, but Professor Su had never been like this. It felt a bit strange and frightening.
Feeling the hands on her shoulders weakly pushing her away, Su Mi reached out to clasp them, leaning in to kiss her. Her lips softly captured the other’s, licking and sucking gently to soothe the younger girl’s unease.
Lin Nanyue felt her face burning. She was dazed by the kiss. Her previously avoidant body began to instinctively draw closer, focusing on the kiss and allowing the other person to wander over her.
“It’s so cold,” Lin Nanyue murmured in dissatisfaction as her exposed legs touched the icy dining table.
With one hand, Su Mi took off her coat, spread it lining side up on the table, then lifted her up and placed her on top of it.
But even with the cold resolved, Lin Nanyue faced a new problem. She felt as if she were missing something, yet she didn’t know what she needed.
Like a student unable to find the correct answer, she couldn’t help but bite Su Mi’s lip. Her hands gripped Su Mi’s collar, tugging until two buttons popped open.
Su Mi’s breathing became unstable. She leaned close to Lin Nanyue’s ear, her breath falling on the flushed earlobe: “Don’t be in a hurry.”
Compared to Lin Nanyue’s heated skin, Su Mi’s fingers were a bit cooler, smoothing away the restlessness as they moved.
Lin Nanyue’s gaze was blurred, but for a moment, she regained a sliver of consciousness. She reached out to push Su Mi. “What is… this?”
Su Mi chuckled softly. Her cold, elegant lips opened slightly to lick her earlobe. “Didn’t you read so many ‘educational’ materials? How have you never seen this?”
Su Mi leaned in and whispered the completion of her sentence.
Lin Nanyue’s eyes widened in disbelief. She thought that between two girls, kissing and touching were about all there was. She had no idea there was so much more.
No wonder Professor Su had asked if she was prepared.
While she was dazed, Su Mi pulled her back to reality. Her left hand pressed against the girl’s back, slowly drawing her closer.
“Then… do I need to do anything?” Even if she had to prepare, she didn’t know what to do.
She was like a helpless child, her eyes filled with innocence as she looked at Su Mi.
Su Mi brushed over her eyes. “Just leave it to me.” Her slightly damp fingers tapped against Lin Nanyue’s heart. “As long as you are prepared here.”
Realizing that something unknown was about to happen, Lin Nanyue couldn’t help but get nervous.
Su Mi lowered her head to kiss Lin Nanyue’s lips, tenderly helping her relax. Lin Nanyue’s chest heaved, and the heat in her cheeks intensified.
At some point, the air in the empty house began to turn warm.
Lin Nanyue had been sitting on the table for a long time and felt uncomfortable. She shifted left and right, trying to find a comfortable position.
Su Mi simply picked her up and carried her to the soft sofa.
As she placed her down, someone accidentally hit a button on the TV remote. The TV, which had been on standby, suddenly flickered on. Fortunately, the volume was low, so they weren’t startled.
Besides, neither of them had the time to care about it.
On the screen, a host was introducing a geological feature of the natural world.
Natural wetlands are widely distributed across the globe and serve as natural reservoirs on land.
When the season arrives in artificial wetlands, brackish water floods the wet soil to form a wetland.
A wetland is a special ecosystem… it is a transitional system between land and water.
The host’s voice seemed to drift further and further away.
Lying on the sofa, Lin Nanyue suddenly closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling. Her hands gripped the fabric cushion beside her so tightly that its surface began to deform.
Su Mi kissed her eyelids to comfort her.
Lin Nanyue reached out blindly for something to hold and pressed the remote again. The geography channel switched to the science and education channel.
On the screen, a vast map of the starry sea unfolded. A tiny boat was swept into a stellar vortex, bobbing up and down, drifting toward an unknown destination until the starlight burst forth.
The brilliant starlight faded along with the beautiful music.
Lin Nanyue’s sweat-soaked eyes were as bright and dark as if they had been washed. She panted heavily, trying to steady her breath, leaning weakly against Su Mi as if she had lost all her strength.
Su Mi held her tight, as if wanting to rub her into her very blood and bone.
The only sound remaining was their intertwined breathing.
Su Mi suddenly lifted her up. Lin Nanyue clung to her limply, her voice slightly hoarse from the previous strain. “Where are we going?”
“The bedroom,” Su Mi answered briefly.
Lin Nanyue gave an “oh,” thinking the other was taking her to bathe since she felt sweaty and uncomfortably sticky.
Su Mi carried her into her bedroom, but to Lin Nanyue’s confusion, she placed her on the large bed in the center of the room.
Regaining a bit of strength, Lin Nanyue propped herself up to look at Professor Su, who had also climbed onto the bed. She glanced at the bathroom door. “Aren’t we going to shower?”
Su Mi straddled her, leaning down to kiss her. “Later.”
She sat up and began to unbutton her shirt with both hands, the silver buttons glinting between her fingers.
Lin Nanyue admitted she was bewitched by the sight. She stared blankly at Su Mi, not blinking for fear of missing a single detail.
Su Mi leaned over, licking Lin Nanyue’s slightly parted lips.
With lowered eyelids, she observed the expression on the girl’s face. The corners of Lin Nanyue’s eyes were flushed deep red, like the fresh flowers in the vase on the nightstand.
Those were flowers Lin Nanyue had bought on a whim one day. She had complained that Su Mi’s room was too plain and lacked life, so she specifically chose two flowers to brighten it up.
The flowers added a touch of vitality, like a drop of ink in water, blooming into vibrant color.
Lin Nanyue let out a few soft moans. Her left hand blindly grasped the edge of the nightstand, causing the flowers in the vase to sway gently. The water glass previously placed there was nudged out of place.
Su Mi hung over her, looking down with the posture of a controller. Her smooth long hair was now slightly damp with sweat, clinging to her neck in silken strands.
As if embarrassed by the gaze, Lin Nanyue turned her head away, her eyes naturally falling on the flower vase.
This reminded her of the scene when she had brought the flowers home and trimmed the stems with Professor Su to put them in the vase. It was warm and peaceful.
Under the dim light, Lin Nanyue blinked.
“Professor Su…”
“Hmm?” Su Mi’s voice was incredibly husky.
“Tomorrow… let’s go buy new flowers.”
She wanted to place different flowers throughout the house, filling every space with vitality.
“Okay.”
Much later, Su Mi leaned over. Her sweat dampened palm found Lin Nanyue’s hand, her fingers sliding into the gaps to hold her tight.
“Nanyue, A-Yue…” Su Mi whispered her name against her damp cheek, treating her like her most precious treasure.
The drowsy Lin Nanyue flickered her eyelashes upon hearing her name but couldn’t open them. However, she squeezed the other’s hand in response.
Su Mi couldn’t help but smile. She gently brushed her fingers over the mark on the girl’s back and pressed a light kiss onto her forehead.
When Lin Nanyue woke up, the room wasn’t very bright. A dim lamp glowed on a nearby desk, illuminating some open books, a pen with its cap off, and a glowing laptop, all signs that someone had been sitting there recently.
She slowly sat up. Her waist felt a dull ache, which suddenly brought back memories of everything that had happened.
Her face turned red with lightning speed. She turned to look at the alarm clock and saw it was 11:00 PM.
The bedsheets had been changed, and her body felt clean and dry.
Lin Nanyue grabbed a nearby pillow and buried her face in it.
Sleeping right after it ended… that’s so embarrassing. It’s not like I fainted, right? Surely not!
Su Mi, who had just finished a phone call, pushed the door open to see Lin Nanyue with her head buried in a pillow. She walked over with her phone and knelt on one leg on the bed.
“You’re awake.” Su Mi brushed away her messy long hair.
Hearing Su Mi’s voice, Lin Nanyue liberated her head from the pillow. Facing Professor Su, her heart still wouldn’t stop racing.
Seeing her staring blankly, Su Mi touched her face. “Did you sleep yourself silly?”
“D-did I sleep for a long time?” Lin Nanyue asked nervously.
“It was alright, only two hours.” Su Mi picked up the water glass from the nightstand. The water was lukewarm, perfect for drinking.
“Have some water first,” she said, pausing for a moment. “To replenish.”
Lin Nanyue’s hand shook as she took the glass, nearly spilling it.
Seeing her ears turn red enough to bleed, Su Mi put away her teasing intent. “Are you hungry? There are some ingredients at home. I can make some simple noodles.”
Although they had gone home for a meal, they hadn’t actually eaten a single bite.
Lin Nanyue thought for a moment. “Let’s have noodles then.”
Su Mi took the empty glass and stood up. “If you’re tired, sleep a bit more. I’ll call you when it’s ready.”
After leaving the room, Su Mi washed the glass in the kitchen and set it upside down. she took the ingredients from the fridge, washed and chopped them, and set the water to boil.
Su Mi’s experience in cooking noodles came from when Lin Nanyue stayed over and complained of hunger at night. Although her skills weren’t great, they were passable.
Inside the bedroom, Lin Nanyue quietly walked out. At the kitchen door, she watched Professor Su handle the chores. She tiptoed over and hugged Su Mi’s lean waist from behind.
This felt like the domestic warmth she had always wanted, the taste of home.
Su Mi let her hold her, letting her cling like a human sloth.
