Your Grace, It Was a Mistake! - Chapter 9
When he held out both hands, Vivian gave a silly grin and began to tie his wrists with clumsy skill. She finished by leaving a long length of the rope trailing, making it easy for her to lead him along.
“Are you kidnapping me, Vivian?”
“Yup.”
Oh, she’s using informal speech.
This was too entertaining. Lennox found himself smirking despite himself. It was a sight that would have caused his vassals to faint on the spot.
“How do you plan to kidnap me, little rabbit?”
“I’m not a rabbit.”
“You are. Every time you stop by the palace, you go on a kin-relief mission.”
She was a repeat offender. Even after Lennox had “rescued” her five years ago, she had returned dozens of times to feed the rabbits. Each time, Lennox had followed her, massaging his aching neck in disbelief.
‘Well, there was a certain joy in watching her.’
Vivian, surrounded by fluffy balls of fur and laughing happily, was truly the pinnacle of cuteness. Monitoring her was just an excuse; in truth, Lennox was simply indulging his own desires.
“Why don’t you just raise a rabbit at home?”
“Mother doesn’t like them…”
“Hmm.”
“And rabbits are happier running around in nature.”
“If that’s what you think, then so be it.”
Lennox smiled broadly. Vivian stole a glance at him before quickly ducking her head. The tips of her ears, visible through her dawn-colored hair, were bright red.
‘I just want to bite her.’
“We’re here. Get in the carriage.”
Vivian pointed to a carriage parked nearby and commanded. They had already reached the back gate of the Grand Ducal estate. Lennox scanned the area and was genuinely surprised. Two knights on guard duty were slumped over, unconscious.
‘How?’
Vivian was notoriously uncoordinated. She nearly tripped over thin air and was a terrible dancer. She wasn’t strong, nor did she possess any special abilities. So, how?
“Vivian, what about these knights? Did you knock them out?”
“Yes. It was easy.”
Easy? He wanted to check on the knights, but Vivian gave the rope a sharp tug, leaving him no time.
“Vivian, how exactly did you knock them out?”
“I gave them candy.”
“Candy?”
“Drug candy…”
“…”
“I gave it to them with a smile, and they ate it right up.”
‘Those idiots.’
Lennox decided that as soon as this incident was resolved, he would have to re-educate his knights’ rotten mental state. Not only was the security breached so easily—
‘They accepted candy just because she smiled at them?’
Those bastards… even I haven’t had her candy yet. Lennox clenched his jaw and asked, “Vivian, did you just hand the candy to them?”
“Huh…? No? I thought they might not eat it right away if I did that, so I put it directly into their mouths.”
“…”
Lennox revised his plan. Forget education; he would just kill them.
In the meantime, they reached the carriage, and Vivian yanked the door open.
“A-Ah, My Lady! You’ve… Gasp!”
The man dozing on the driver’s seat woke up in a fright. It was the coachman from the Count Lewis estate. He stared wide-eyed at Lennox, who was bound by a rope.
“My Lady…? What is the meaning of this?”
“I’m taking the Grand Duke… home.”
“Tied up in a rope…?”
“Yes.”
Vivian nodded and shoved Lennox into the carriage. Her movements were surprisingly rough, making Lennox feel like he was actually being kidnapped.
‘This is strangely thrilling.’
It was a novel experience. Honestly, as long as he was with Vivian, anything was fun. He was looking forward to seeing what “atrocities” she had planned for him, even if they were bound to be trivial.
‘I can already see the picture.’
Lennox sat back leisurely in the carriage seat. Just as Vivian climbed in and was about to close the door, a knight came running out and spotted them.
“M-Master?!”
“Ah.”
Talk about being late. The people who should have noticed a security breach immediately were only now showing up.
‘These guys have definitely gone soft.’
He’d have to work them to death later. Lennox narrowed his eyes at the knight and said bluntly, “I am being kidnapped right now.”
“What?!”
“Do not follow. I will return on my own.”
“What?! No, Master! What do you mean—!”
The knight rushed forward, but before his hand could reach the door, it slammed shut with a bang.
Immediately after, Vivian shouted in a cheerful voice, “Departure!”
Lennox glared at the knight through the window and mouthed the words: Follow us, and you die.
“M-Master…?”
While the knight stood there dazed, the coachman muttered, “Oh, what the hell…” and started the carriage.
And so, the carriage carrying the two of them moved further and further away from the Glen Grand Ducal estate. Only after it had completely vanished did the knight snap back to his senses.
“—Aaaah! Emergency!”
He let out a scream and sprinted back into the mansion. Meanwhile, the two knights drugged with “candy” remained lost in happy dreams, oblivious to everything.
About twenty minutes later, the carriage arrived at the Count Lewis estate.
“My Lady, I know nothing about this!”
The coachman took a few gold coins from Vivian (hush money) and bolted. Vivian, smiling from ear to ear, led Lennox along. Her footsteps were as light as if she were on a picnic.
Lennox smiled faintly and asked, “Are you that happy?”
“Yes. The Grand Duke is mine now.”
“That’s right, Vivian. You can have it all.”
Vivian giggled. Lennox’s hands itched to stroke her flushed cheeks. It was a pity that his wrists were tied tight, preventing him from moving.
‘I could snap a rope like this whenever I want, but…’
For now, he would just wait and see what she did. That seemed like it would be much more interesting. Lennox obediently followed Vivian.
“Your Grace? We’re here. This is my room.”
Vivian looked back at him. They had snuck in through the back gate and managed to reach her room while avoiding the servants’ eyes.
‘Vivian’s room…’
The place where she lived. Lennox’s heart raced. He had entered her secret sanctuary.
‘You pervert.’
Even as he scolded himself, a satisfied smile wouldn’t leave his lips. He was so excited to see the scenery of this room and what would unfold.
“Now, go in.”
Vivian threw the door wide. Lennox stepped inside. The room was bathed in darkness. Thick curtains blocked out even the moonlight, making it so dark that objects were hard to distinguish. However, with his superhuman vision, Lennox could see the room clearly.
‘This is…’
His face filled with shock. Vivian’s room was decorated entirely with drawings of him.
‘It’s practically wallpapered.’
Tapestries on the walls, frames, photo albums on the dresser, and even several cushions on the bed and sofa… the room was covered with his face, drawn with remarkable lifelikeness.
‘There’s even a full-body one.’
A long body pillow—perfect for hugging while sleeping. Realizing that Vivian must have fallen asleep every night clutching that, Lennox felt a sudden surge of heat within him.
‘Damn, oh my god, this is really—’
Lennox felt lightheaded. This was just too…
‘I’m going to die of happiness.’
Finally, his reason snapped. Easily breaking the rope binding his wrists, Lennox spun around. Vivian, meeting his eyes, frowned as if to ask what he was doing.
“Your Grace, why did you break the rope?”
“Tie it again later. As many times as you want.”
“Huh? Uh?”
Lennox strode toward Vivian and scooped her up. She let out a small “Kyah!”
He found even her voice so cute he wanted to swallow it whole. Damn, is cuteness etched into her very cells?
“Your Grace, why so suddenly…”
“Shh.”
Lennox laid her down gently on the bed and pulled her into a tight embrace from above. He stayed like that for a long time, feeling the greed he had suppressed for so long finally being partially satisfied.
“Ha…”
He took a deep breath. The scent of her squirming in his arms provided the ultimate sense of satisfaction.
‘Damn, she’s cute. Too cute.’
He wanted to hold her tight like this and bite, kiss, and lick her. He wanted to leave marks all over her body. He wanted to go deeper, to places no one else had dared to reach.
A foreign desire raged inside him. It was a sensation he had never experienced in his life, and his body even began to tremble slightly. It was truly the first time he had wanted someone so desperately.
“Vivian…”
He called her name in a voice that sounded strangled. Vivian flinched and gave a timid “Yes?”
Even that made him feel like he was going crazy.
“If I stay like this, I don’t know what I might do, so please tie me up.”
“What you might do…?”
Damn, don’t ask with such an innocent face. Lennox closed his eyes tight and dropped his head. Vivian provoked him with utter innocence.
“You can do it, though?”
“…Do you even know what you’re saying?”
Vivian seemed to think for a moment, then gave a bright smile and nodded. “What lovers do—of course I know.”
“So… ah, you’re really driving me crazy.”
Do you actually know what “what lovers do” specifically means? You’re the lady who writes romance novels where they only hold hands and sleep.
“Your Grace, aren’t you going to do it?”
“…One shouldn’t do things they’ll regret—”
“If you won’t do it, I will.”
“What?”
Vivian gave a smirk and rolled away, escaping his embrace. In that moment, the image of a rabbit rolling in the snow overlapped with her. Lennox was confused. How could a person be so much like a rabbit?
“Hyah!”
But something even more surprising happened next. Vivian, who had pulled out a new rope from somewhere, suddenly pounced on him and sat on top of him.
“Ah, this is fun. I’ve always wanted to try this.”
“…”
“Of course, only with you. I’m completely devoted, you know? Your Grace, do you realize that?”
“Yes…”
Lennox nodded demurely and answered. He knew better than anyone just how much she liked him. He watched with complex emotions as she grabbed both of his hands, raised them above his head, and began to tie them to the headboard.
‘Her tastes are…’
“All tied up—tehe.”
“…Yes, I’m sure you’re very happy.”
“Your Grace… you look the best right now. I want to leave this as a drawing.”
“I’d… prefer if you refrained from that.”
Vivian, still sitting on top of him, stroked Lennox’s cheek. Lennox turned his face away, blushing, and asked, “Let’s do something else besides drawing. What do you want to do?”
At that, Vivian seemed to ponder for a moment before suddenly grabbing his shirt. Lennox flinched.
“Mmm… in the novel Marina lent me…”
“They did it like this,” Vivian said, as she proceeded to rip and strip his shirt off.
Lennox felt dizzy for a moment. He barely managed to keep his wits and asked, “Marina? Your friend?”
“Yup.”
“No, exactly what kind of novel did she lend you?”
“Ummm, what was it… 500 Shades?”
Vivian frowned as if she couldn’t quite remember the title. She gathered the scraps of the shirt and tossed them off the bed. Lennox was now half-naked, wearing only his trousers. Vivian stared down at his body and lit a lamp.
“…Do you want to see more clearly?” Lennox asked.
Vivian nodded shyly. Lennox lay back quietly and said, “Then look all you want.”
Vivian climbed back onto him and rubbed her cheeks with both hands. Lennox wondered just how “sane” she was right now. She seemed to feel embarrassment, yet she was being so bold. He made a suggestion.
“You can touch me, too.”
“Really…?”
“Touch me all you want, and do everything you want to do, Vivian.”
“Our Grand Duke really is kind.”
Vivian gave a bright smile. Lennox, who was trying to satisfy his own selfish desires a bit, flinched from a pang of conscience.
“Then…”
Vivian’s fingers crawled slowly over his abdominal muscles. Lennox swallowed hard as if a current were running through him. Her hand moved higher, pressing firmly against his solid chest. Finding the sensation fascinating, she repeated the action several times.
“Wow, it’s really hard.”
“…”
Lennox didn’t have the mental capacity to respond. He was pouring all his willpower into suppressing his desires. From the moment she started touching him, something was constantly…
‘Ah, damn. This is driving me mad.’
Lennox endured with superhuman mental strength, repeatedly telling himself: Vivian is not in her right mind right now. If I take her here, I’m the scum of the earth. Endure, please.
However, despite Lennox’s efforts, Vivian was an expert at snapping his reason.
“…!”
She suddenly pressed her lips against his. It was a light kiss, like a bird pecking, but it was an immense stimulus for Lennox. He gripped the bed tight. He barely held onto his sanity. He had almost snapped the ropes again.
‘Calm down… calm down, just a little…’
Yes, he would satisfy his greed just a little. It seemed safer to release it slightly than to keep suppressing it entirely.
“That’s not how you kiss,” Lennox said.
Vivian tilted her head and asked with a slightly puzzled look, “Then, how do you do it…?”
Having regained a bit of composure, Lennox gave a smirk and answered without hesitation.
“Try biting me.”
He felt like it would be good to be bitten by her.
“Bi-bite?”
Vivian’s face went pale as if she couldn’t even imagine doing something so wicked. She shook her head. Lennox stared blankly for a moment before coming to his senses and saying, “It’s okay. You can bite me.”
“But then you’ll be in pain, Your Grace!”
Vivian looked as if she were about to cry. Tears welled up in her large eyes. In that instant, Lennox forgot how to breathe.
Damn, why is she so…
‘Why is she so cute? This is truly driving me insane.’
His patience was rapidly wearing thin.
