You Are the Star I Cannot Touch - Chapter 2
Chapter 2: The Specimen
“First time?” Gu Xizhi looked at the woman trembling in front of the bed. Just two days ago, she was wondering if she should find someone, and now one was delivered to her doorstep. Naturally, she wouldn’t refuse.
“Yes,” she didn’t dare to look up at her. She was nervous and scared. After all… she had hesitated many times before finally… making up her mind. Moreover, she didn’t want to see her only sister die; her sister was the only family she had left.
“How much?” Gu Xizhi felt no affection, only… a need.
“One hundred thousand.” Her sister’s surgery required one hundred thousand, so she forced herself to speak up, only hoping Gu Xizhi could give her that amount. “Can I…” She gathered the courage to finally look up at her. “Is that okay?” Her eyes pleaded. She truly had no other option. She didn’t know why the person ended up being a woman, but a woman was much better than a man, at least there was no fear of pregnancy and no fear of… She just felt that since they were both women, she could accept it, and surely she wouldn’t be humiliated, since this whole thing was already humiliating enough.
“Mm, go take a shower.” Gu Xizhi looked at her phone and quickly checked her name and background. A university student, quite clean. As for why she needed the money, Gu Xizhi didn’t want to know and couldn’t be bothered to know. After tonight, they would be strangers. One hundred thousand was nothing to her, but it was a lot for this student. Seeing that she looked clean and compliant, one hundred thousand it was. She just hadn’t actually planned on finding a woman; she’d only been talking.
Qu Shijin emerged, wrapped in a bath towel, standing there feeling helpless and unsure what to do. She didn’t know how to do anything; she understood nothing.
“Come here,” Gu Xizhi threw her phone onto the bedside table and looked at her, so nervous.
She slowly walked over and stopped in front of her.
“Lie on the bed,” Gu Xizhi ordered.
She could only comply obediently.
Gu Xizhi took off the towel and looked at her. Nice body.
Qu Shijin gripped the bedsheet, her body tense, watching her, not knowing what to do.
Gu Xizhi touched her face. “So nervous? Have you thought this through?”
“Yes.” She wanted to run, but what about her sister if she ran?
“Fine.” Gu Xizhi didn’t ask anything further.
Kissing—she didn’t know how; after all, that was something only the most intimate people did. However, Qu Shijin looked very tempting, so she might as well try. She was kind enough to make her relax first, otherwise she would be traumatized.
The pain—she could endure it, but tears still silently fell. She couldn’t turn back now. She had raised the hundred thousand this time, but what about next time? If they couldn’t find a matching kidney, she could only continue to fall into degradation like this. Dialysis costs were too high; she couldn’t afford them. She was still a student, and working daily didn’t earn her much.
Gu Xizhi finished with her deep into the night. Qu Shijin had already passed out. Gu Xizhi washed her and looked at the messy bed, and the bloodstains on the sheets. She decided to make do.
She was tired too, and lay down to sleep.
The next morning, she was woken by Qu Shijin’s phone alarm. An alarm on a weekend?
“I’m sorry,” Qu Shijin supported herself and turned off the phone. It was instantly awkward.
“Payment code?” Gu Xizhi asked.
“Okay,” she opened it.
Gu Xizhi transferred the one hundred thousand to her and got up.
“I…” Qu Shijin stammered, wanting to say something more, but Gu Xizhi ignored her and went to the bathroom. After quickly washing up and changing, she came out.
“Could… could you, um…” She couldn’t bring herself to say it, but who else could she turn to? What about the next person—would they… Although she suffered physically and psychologically last night, at least Gu Xizhi gave her final dignity and didn’t thoroughly humiliate her.
“What?” Gu Xizhi looked at her.
“Could you… take care of me?” Her voice was very quiet. “I… I can learn.”
Gu Xizhi raised an eyebrow. She hadn’t considered this. She looked at Qu Shijin, whose eyes were tear-filled, evoking pity. She wasn’t short on money. Last night was fine, and she looked obedient. She probably wouldn’t cause any trouble. “Okay, but if I get bored, you leave on your own, or don’t blame me for being unkind to you. Do you know what to do?”
“Yes, I know. I won’t disturb your life. You can call for me anytime you need me. It’s just… the money…”
It really was for the money? Well, why else would she be looking for her?
“How much per month? Or how much per time?”
She thought for a moment, then calculated her sister’s expenses. She could earn her own tuition. “Is fifty thousand a month okay?”
“Mm. I’ll contact you if I need you.” Gu Xizhi dropped those words and left.
The moment the door closed, Qu Shijin cried. After crying for a long time, she got dressed and left the hotel. She needed to go to the hospital to see her sister. She went back and changed her clothes to make herself look fine. She could suffer for herself, but she couldn’t watch her sister die. Thinking this, she should be happy; her sister would be saved now.
…
Gong Yutong had just arrived at the entrance of her villa when she saw Mu Yan waiting for her. Is this person seriously free twenty-four hours a day?
“I thought you went to stay in a hotel again,” Mu Yan said, looking at her. “You look so beautiful today. I really want to touch your legs. Your legs are so beautiful, they would look even better as a specimen.”
Too lazy to deal with her, Gong Yutong walked toward her villa.
“And this waist, your butt—so sexy. Let me touch you, I promise I won’t do anything.”
Gong Yutong stopped and turned to look at her. “If you’re sick, go get treated. Don’t have an episode here.”
“I’m sick because of you.” She quickly walked up to her. Gong Yutong kicked out. Mu Yan didn’t even try to dodge.
She clutched her stomach. “What… what if you hurt me? How will I serve you?”
Gong Yutong: “…” She really wanted to kill her, but this Mu Yan was truly something else. A forensic scientist, a doctor, and the most famous assassin. Gong Yutong didn’t want to specifically deal with her; it was a waste of time. It was incredibly annoying, but because of this, Mu Yan kept clinging to her.
Mu Yan suddenly dropped to her knees in front of her and grabbed her foot. “Does your foot hurt?” She touched her foot, looking distressed and extremely fond of it.
To Gong Yutong, it felt like a venomous snake had coiled around her foot, staring hungrily at it—chilling.
“Beautiful. I really want to cut it off and turn it into a specimen,” she said, holding her foot.
Gong Yutong nearly lost her balance and fell. This person was sick. She had to contact a doctor to check her out tomorrow. “Let go?”
“No.”
Gong Yutong: “…” She hadn’t even started swearing yet. Mu Yan actually bit her. Gong Yutong didn’t even want to go back to her own villa and just walked away, but how could Mu Yan let her go? The two started fighting. Mu Yan was ultimately no match for her and was beaten quite badly. Gong Yutong drove away.
“So violent! But hehe, I like it.” She smiled maniacally, then got into her car. Remembering Gong Yutong’s foot, she started vividly imagining things, a dazed look in her eyes, before finally driving away.
Qu Shijin followed the person to the hotel. She was told to wait and that the person would be back soon. She sat on the sofa, feeling awkward and restless.
The sound of the door opening rang out. She looked toward the entrance and froze. Why is it her? Could she have sent me to CEO Gong? That’s impossible. She only knew CEO Gong from seeing her on television.
Gong Yutong, CEO of Gong Corporation, the lord of City Z, high and mighty, like a deity, all-powerful, cold and ruthless. She rarely attended banquets and could usually only be seen on TV. A very mysterious person.
Gong Yutong walked in and froze. She thought she had entered the wrong room. She even went back to check the door plaque. Gu Xizhi had rented this room for a year. It was close to the company, and she occasionally stayed there. Today, she was so annoyed by Mu Yan that she came here, wanting some peace. But seeing this person, she seemed to understand the situation. She found someone this fast, huh?
