In Qingping City, there’s a notorious haunted house. Rumor has it that anyone who moves in won’t live to see the next day. The stories spread like wildfire—whispers of vengeful spirits, restless apparitions. The government has sealed the place off more than once, yet thrill-seeking livestreamers still sneak in to chase fame. Without exception, they’re found dead outside the house the following morning. And in every one of their phones, there’s a final photo: a red-clad specter glaring into the lens.
Shen Qingwei is invited to Qingping City alongside a group of feng shui masters to investigate the matter. The haunting proves real—a powerful, malignant spirit, difficult to subdue. That night, Shen Qingwei insists on staying in the house. The other masters are horrified. On their way back, they can’t help lamenting that someone so beautiful is about to meet her end inside that cursed place.
At dawn, they rush back, bracing themselves to find her corpse at the door.
