What to do if I've locked myself in a book! - Chapter 14
Her scalp tingled. Those unseen eyes seemed to be watching her every move, ready to send prompts at any moment to steer her along a predetermined path. Yet whenever a prompt appeared, it also made her clearly aware that she was not in the real world, and the weight in her heart suddenly eased a great deal.
“Ye Xize is my ex-boyfriend.”
“…”
Cheng Ye fell silent for a few seconds before speaking slowly. “How long were you together? Why did you break up?”
“About two years. As for why… his tastes in that area were pretty perverted. I couldn’t take it…”
Since Ye Xize already looked like Luo Qian, she simply used her past experience with Luo Qian to satisfy his curiosity.
“How perverted?”
“Hey, I don’t think I’m obligated to explain that to you. I’m not exactly anything to you.”
Cheng Ye froze for a moment. He had indeed been too abrupt. He and Ling Qianqian clearly weren’t close, yet he had the strange illusion that they had known and understood each other for a long time.
That wasn’t like him at all.
As for Ling Qianqian, she only wanted to find a way back to the real world as soon as possible. She didn’t want to fall into romance with the male lead—who looked like Ji Shi—in this book whose plot had suddenly gone off the rails.
“Mmm… what are you doing…”
Before she could react, the man’s hand—still properly resting around her waist a moment ago—suddenly moved up to knead her soft, warm breast. The fierce thing below him also stiffened at once, standing between her thighs, stirring the warm water into ripples.
“If you don’t talk, I’m going to put it in.”
“Ah… don’t…”
She flailed, splashing the water as she turned to flee. Losing her balance, she ended up pressed front-first against the man’s chest, suddenly face-to-face with a handsome face full of jealousy.
His deep brow furrowed slightly. Those ink-black eyes fixed unblinkingly on her flustered gaze, radiating a determination to get to the bottom of it.
In a daze, she mistook Cheng Ye for Ji Shi.
Ji Shi was often like this too—forceful, demanding answers from her.
She desperately swept those irrelevant feelings from her mind, warning herself that this wasn’t the real world and that she couldn’t develop unnecessary emotions for someone in the story.
Seeing her still hesitate, the man suddenly slapped her thigh and forcefully spread her legs, lining her entrance up with his erect length. Seizing the moment, he thrust his hips upward hard. The head split her core, the shaft grinding past tender flesh as he drove straight in.
“Mm! It hurts… don’t!”
Her already swollen entrance, just used earlier, had to take his huge size again, and the pain was unavoidable.
Even soaking in warm water, she was too exhausted. Her body hadn’t grown wet again before being filled by his imposing size—it was bound to hurt.
Seeing her genuine pain, he immediately realized he’d been too rash and must have hurt her. That sudden wave of unexplained frustration had gone to his head—he shouldn’t have done that.
He stopped moving, still buried inside her. Freeing one hand, he stroked her face and pulled her close, sealing her slightly parted lips with a kiss.
This kiss wasn’t as fierce as before. It was gentle, soothing her emotions, and gradually coaxing a faint wetness from inside her.
His long lashes, heavy with mist, fluttered. Beneath their shifting shadows, those dark, star-like eyes gazing at her looked much softer.
“Sorry. I hurt you.”
“…”
His apology moved her for a moment. Ji Shi never apologized—not even when he knew he was wrong.
These two men were different, after all.
