With the help of another, Jiang Jinheng regained a physical body but lost her memories. Within the sect, she is the publicly recognized “sickly beauty.” By a stroke of luck or perhaps misfortune she is destined to become the shared Master of the villain, Fu Yi, and the Child of Destiny, Mo Tong.
According to the arrangements of the Heavenly Dao, this is the period where Mo Tong activates his “golden finger”. Everyone from the sect’s charming junior sisters to his own cold and detached Master Jiang Jinheng herself would become members of his harem.
Meanwhile, Fu Yi is a half-demon character who nearly lost her virtue to him. Driven by resentment, she eventually meets her end at the blade of her own Master.
Having glimpsed the plot, Jiang Jinheng felt pity for Fu Yi’s circumstances. However, she didn’t expect the young girl to seemingly avoid her. Believing the gap between generations was the cause, Jiang Jinheng decided to don a “vest” (an alias/disguise) and claimed to be a senior sister, hoping only to protect Fu Yi from the shadows.
What Jiang Jinheng did not know was that her disguise had been transparent from the very beginning.
Fu Yi is a reborn soul, returning solely to seek vengeance for that fatal sword strike. In her previous life, she thought her Master was the only one who treated her well, only to be pierced through the throat on the very day she revealed her half-demon identity.

She guides her cultivation, leaves behind healing elixirs, and even drags her sickly body into dangerous secret realms to find treasures, placing everything good before Fu Yi.
“Where there is a gift, there must be an ulterior motive.” Taking the lessons of her past life to heart, Fu Yi remains cold and detached, hiding her half-demon identity and refusing to give Jiang Jinheng a shred of trust.
It isn’t until she experiences a dream-like illusion that everything becomes clear. After going in circles, she realizes that person still occupies her heart.
She expresses her feelings repeatedly, but after that, her Master brings home an injured fox that cannot even take human form. Against all opposition, the Master cares for it meticulously, never leaving its side, and even contemplates stripping away half of her own immortal bones just to reconstruct a human body for that “stinking fox.”
Under the influence of new inner demons, Fu Yi can no longer sit still. She carries her Master’s sword, Chongxiao, into the Xuanyun Hall. The sharp blade is pointed directly at the fox snuggled peacefully in her Master’s arms, but in the end, the blade hangs before her own neck.
“Master, do you like it… or me?”
