“Pei Sichen, I hate you.”
In the darkness, Jiang Ruobai dragged his broken and battered body as he curled up on the hospital bed. His glands were covered in dense, crowded bite marks. He attempted to plead, naively believing that being obedient enough could trade for his freedom. However, what he received instead was deeper waves of despair.
“Hate me? But right now, only I can save you.”
Pei Sichen laughed softly as he kissed the tears at the corner of Jiang Ruobai’s eye, behaving with a tenderness that was almost cruel. “Baby, falling in love with me is your only way to survive.”
Jiang Ruobai tilted his head back in agony, but even his mournful cries were swallowed by Pei Sichen’s kiss.
He could not see a single glimmer of light. He did not understand why exactly it had come to this; why he and Pei Sichen had reached this point today.
For the sake of his critically ill wife, he had discarded his self-esteem and surrendered himself to Pei Sichen. Only at the very end did he discover that everything was a scam and that everyone was lying to him.
He was the only one who remained as ignorant as a fool. Forced to become an Omega, he was dragged into hell step-by-step by a madman. He wanted to escape, but his legs were broken.
The madman’s eyes glowed with a crimson light, appearing more terrifying than an evil spirit at midnight.
“In this lifetime, you can never dream of leaving me!”
Jiang Ruobai’s face was filled with utter despair as even the strength to struggle gradually drained away.
