- Transmigrated Into a Scummy Alpha Who Stole the Male Lead's Mermaid Fiancée
- Chapter 2 - Fishtail
The figure in her arms desperately pressed closer, the dreamlike mermaid tail swaying back and forth, its fins layered like a wedding veil, trailing all the way to the other end of the bed.
Through the fabric of her clothes, Yu Ke could feel the scorching heat of her skin. The touch felt like a dream. She raised a hand and gently stroked the little mermaid’s body, which shimmered with a pearly glow. It wasn’t hard or sticky as she had imagined but incredibly soft, stirring something deep within her.
Lan Xing kissed her neck, wrapped her arms around Yu Ke’s waist, and pressed half her body against her, seeking solace. From time to time, she let out sounds of contentment, which shattered Yu Ke’s composure. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and tenderly caressed the fishtail.
What had once been legs, with their soft and delicate skin, now took on an exquisitely graceful form, restlessly swaying back and forth.
Yu Ke couldn’t resist such temptation. She wanted to kiss the little mermaid’s lips, press her body against the floor, and lavish her with affection, leaving her mark on the gland that exuded the scent of champagne.
She couldn’t bring herself to look directly at the little mermaid’s face, instead lowering her gaze to the swan-like neck and arms, feeling the indescribable beauty of her form. At that moment, the unfamiliar heart in her chest pounded fiercely, urging and commanding her to do one thing immediately: mark her, right now!
“Princess,” Yu Ke struggled to speak, panting, “Do you still recognize me?”
“Yu… Jie,” Lan Xing pleaded, “I’m so uncomfortable… Help me…”
Meeting those blue eyes, Yu Ke nearly lost her senses. But upon hearing the name “Yu Jie,” she steadied herself and replied in a low voice, “Your Highness, I am not Yu Jie.”
As soon as the words left her lips, a dull ache surged in Yu Ke’s chest, as if some monstrous force within was fiercely resisting, tearing and clamoring. The furious energy felt like hellfire, suffocating her.
Was it the consciousness of the original host?
The original host must not want her to do this, which was why she was desperately trying to seize control of this body.
How wonderful. If it could make that scoundrel of an original host frantic with rage, then it must be something truly satisfying.
Yu Ke bit her lip, curling it into a faint, elusive smile, and raised her hand to gently stroke the little princess’s cheek with the back of her fingers.
Lan Xing was in great discomfort, yet she relished Yu Ke’s gentle touch. She tilted her face upward slightly, her sapphire-like eyes glistening with tears, looking somewhat dazed, while her fan-shaped tail swayed gently.
“The inhibitor I gave you was tampered with,” Yu Ke stood up, looking down at her, and said gently, “I’ll call an ambulance for you. Please bear with it a little longer.”
“No,” Princess Lan Xing hurriedly grabbed the hem of her skirt, pleading in a low voice, “Not an ambulance…”
“Your condition is critical,” Yu Ke leaned down, touched her burning cheek, and patiently reassured her, “There’s nothing I can do to help you. Calling an ambulance is the only option.”
“Yu Jie,” Lan Xing nearly sobbed, weakly clutching her hand, and whispered, “No ambulance…”
“I am not Yu Jie,” Yu Ke firmly grasped her wrist, her tone calm and resolute, “I am Yu Ke. Yu. Ke.”
Lan Xing’s delicate brows furrowed as she lifted her face to look at Yu Ke, her beautiful blue eyes shimmering with unshed tears, revealing a deeply sorrowful expression. She resembled a little girl who had just received a giant cotton candy, only to have it fall to the ground before she could take a single bite.
Her body trembling, Lan Xing gazed helplessly at Yu Ke. A glimmer of clarity gradually surfaced in her dazed eyes as she released her grip on Yu Ke. Her lips moved slightly, but no sound emerged.
“You’ll be alright,” Yu Ke restrained her impulses and comforted her.
Lan Xing drew a shaky breath and turned her face away, appearing utterly lost.
Waves of heat pulsed through her body like relentless ocean tides, drowning her in their turbulent swell. She caught the scent of mint, an intoxicating fragrance that seemed capable of wrenching her soul from her very flesh.
“…Mark me,” Lan Xing murmured with her head bowed, the words trembling from her lips.
Yu Ke nearly lost her composure.
She dug her nails into her own thigh until they nearly pierced the skin. The pain cleared her mind, reminding her firmly that she couldn’t give in…
Turning her back to Princess Lan Xing required nearly all her strength. Moistening her throat, she said, “I’ll call an ambulance. You’ll feel better soon.”
“No, no one can see me like this,” Lan Xing sobbed, lifting her head to plead with Yu Ke. “Yu Ke, Your Highness, please help me…”
Yu Ke’s heart clenched painfully. She didn’t dare look back, only listening to the princess’s soft, pleading voice: “Just a temporary mark, alright?”
“If you go to the hospital, the pain will stop. Trust me,” Yu Ke inhaled sharply and began searching for her phone while turning on the lights.
“They’ll see,” Lan Xing crawled weakly toward Yu Ke from where she lay on the floor, struggling to speak. “They’ll know. I can’t let them see…”
Yu Ke turned to look at her, confused. “Know what?”
Lan Xing offered a feeble smile and explained haltingly, “A mermaid’s tail… the gradient colors on the fin mean she’s no longer a virgin…”
Understanding dawned on Yu Ke. She observed the princess sitting on the floor, head drooping, golden curls cascading to conceal her adorable face. The magnificent tail twitched restlessly, presenting a pitiful sight.
Yu Ke had never heard that a mermaid’s tail color indicated chastity. After a moment of stunned silence, she averted her gaze and muttered, “Sorry.”
“Temporary marking,” Lan Xing whispered. “Do you know how?”
Yu Ke’s rigid posture relaxed slightly. She sighed. “I’ll try.”
Lan Xing nodded and curled up in the corner, hugging her fish tail like an unwieldy bouquet of flowers or a bride clutching her wedding gown. Her large, watery eyes glistened, cheeks flushed crimson, and she pressed her small lips together, lost in thought.
So beautiful.
It seemed absurd that such an exquisite mermaid would refuse hospital treatment for fear of being seen.
The world would be fortunate merely to witness her beauty.
Yu Ke retrieved a handgun from the cabinet drawer, checked the ammunition, loaded it, and placed it in Princess Lan Xing’s hand.
The young maiden looked astonished.
“If I lose control and try to harm you,” Yu Ke said gently, “use this gun against me.”
The Princess Lan Xing’s eyes widened, her gun-holding hand trembling as tears streamed down her cheeks. She whispered shakily, “No…”
“I lack experience. If I lose control, I won’t be able to explain it to anyone,” Yu Ke said with a soft laugh, pressing a kiss to her cheek. Then, his lips moved to her neck as he murmured, “I’m going to begin.”
