Song Ran unexpectedly transmigrated into the role of a scum villain in a melodramatic novel.
The original character was a spoiled, ruthless madwoman. After a fleeting glance at the female lead, she didn’t hesitate to use all sorts of means to steal her away from the male lead. Even though, due to a family arranged marriage, she was already married to a wife that she had abandoned in the slums for twenty-two years
After the wedding, unable to have the female lead, the scum villain frequently beat her wife and derived pleasure from tormenting her. But she never anticipated that her wife would eventually turn completely dark and team up with the female lead to send her insane self to prison to eat prison grub.
Song Ran: Thank you very much.
Just as the scum villain had drugged her wife and was about to film a video to upload to a group chat, Song Ran saw Sang Wu, not far away, writhing in the throes of drug-induced heat. Without hesitation, she dialed emergency services: “Don’t be afraid, I just—”
Despair and resentment mingled in Sang Wu’s voice as she choked back a sob: “Don’t touch me.”
Startled, Song Ran immediately tossed all the drugs and props in the bedroom into the trash before coaxing gently, “The doctor will be here soon. If it hurts too much, you can bite my hand.”
After learning why she couldn’t divorce Sang Wu, Song Ran went all out to compensate her. But unexpectedly, in the process of making amends, she found herself becoming the one who needed comforting.
The little wife was like a little kitten who usually pretending to be aloof, swishing her tail and hissing when approached. But beneath that cool exterior lay a warm heart, and when drunk, she would cling to Song Ran, softly murmuring…
“Sister, hug Sang Wu.”
“I’m being good… Sister, can you help me bathe?”
“Sister, mark me.”

The night of the film shoot’s wrap party.
Song Ran, usually gentle, was driven to desperation by her heightened sensitivity. She pressed Sang Wu against the door, her gaze dangerous, and coaxed patiently, “Baby, let Painful Sister have her way.”
The room was filled with the rich, intoxicating scent of orange blossoms and night-scented stock. The last shred of hesitation vanished. A faint heat radiated from the bite mark on the back of Sang Wu’s neck as she leaned in and kissed Song Ran.
