- The Villainous Ex-Wife of the Fallen Tycoon
- Chapter 3 - The One I Truly Love Is Su Yuanzheng!
Recalling these past events, Xia Yutong felt deeply embarrassed.
The original owner of this body had been utterly ungrateful. She had even declared in front of the entire Su family, “Who asked you to pretend to be good people and adopt me? If I’d stayed in the orphanage, I might have met richer parents who would treat me better. You’ve ruined my entire life.”
Xia Yutong couldn’t bring herself to laugh. It seemed reversing this situation would be a long and arduous task.
She hugged Su Yuanzheng again, complaining, “I’m in so much pain. My whole body feels like it’s falling apart.”
Su Yuanzheng knelt down to massage her, his face full of concern. “Where does it hurt?”
According to the plot, Zhou Jin would soon arrive at the hotel with Zhou Hengzhi to catch them red-handed.
And the original owner, in front of Su Yuanzheng, would pledge her love to Zhou Hengzhi, weeping dramatically.
Zhou Hengzhi’s men would then beat Su Yuanzheng half to death, leaving him unable to even crawl away.
“Here, and here it all hurts so much. How did you get so strong, Su Yuanzheng?” Xia Yutong leaned against the sofa, breathing softly. “It hurts, my thighs hurt too.”
Su Yuanzheng massaged her body and arms, but when it came to her thighs, he hesitated.
Xia Yutong grabbed his hand and placed it on her thigh, but he immediately pulled it back.
Last night, they had been intoxicated and unaware, but now, fully sober, every touch felt like a sin.
He felt as though he had ruined her life. Su Yuanzheng’s face darkened instantly.
His reaction left Xia Yutong somewhat at a loss.
Truth be told, the original owner had never paid much attention to Su Yuanzheng, so she knew little about his personality or character.
Her arrogance had always stemmed from the fact that Su Yuanzheng loved her.
Xia Yutong wrapped her arms around his neck. “It hurts so much. You have no idea how to be gentle with a woman.”
Before he could respond, she rested her head on his shoulder and noticed his ears turning bright red.
“Hurry up,” she urged, guiding his hand back to her thigh. “Help me massage it. It really hurts!”
Su Yuanzheng’s face flushed as if he were standing in front of a blazing stove. “I’m sorry.”
“Is ‘sorry’ all you know how to say?”
“What?”
“Do you love me, Su Yuanzheng?”
In the original owner’s memories, Su Yuanzheng had always adored her but never once uttered the word “love.” He was clueless about romance and expressing emotions, only knowing how to give.
Whatever she wanted, he would work frantically to obtain for her, taking on multiple jobs and leaving no time to spend with her.
After graduating from university, Su Yuanzheng could have joined a major company. But because she constantly slandered him in front of Zhou Hengzhi, Zhou had ordered many large firms not to hire him.
No company dared to defy Zhou Hengzhi. Suppressed and with nowhere to go, Su Yuanzheng ended up doing the toughest work on construction sites after graduation, earning money just to provide for her.
Meanwhile, the original owner, leveraging the privileges Zhou Hengzhi granted her, became his assistant. Everyone who saw her addressed her respectfully as “Sister Xia.”
When asked, “Do you love me?” Su Yuanzheng remained silent for a long time, but his eyes held a firm, unspoken answer for Xia Yutong.
So inexperienced, a budding tycoon in the throes of first love, utterly green.
Xia Yutong hugged him tightly. “Then, do you hate me?”
“No,” he replied without hesitation. “Xia Yutong, you!”
Xia Yutong cut him off, “I am yours now, Su Yuanzheng. You have to take responsibility for me.”
Su Yuanzheng widened his eyes, his large hands peeling the limp Xia Yutong off of him. “What did you say?”
Xia Yutong actually wanted him to take responsibility?
This was something he had never even dreamed of.
“That’s right. Don’t tell me you don’t want to take responsibility for me? What if I’m already carrying your—”
Bang!
The door burst open as Zhou Jin dragged Zhou Hengzhi inside. “Brother, look! The adulterous couple, see!”
Zhou Jin’s voice was brimming with excitement. “See? I didn’t lie to you! It’s the adulterous couple! This woman has been cheating on you behind your back with this random man!”
Su Yuanzheng: “You can say what you want about me, but leave her out of it.”
Xia Yutong quickly clung to Su Yuanzheng, who looked down at her.
He wasn’t nervous at all. The only thing he had feared after waking up was her reaction, but she hadn’t cried or made a scene. Instead, she had spoken those heartfelt words to him, and now he wasn’t afraid anymore.
Zhou Hengzhi, dressed in a suit, turned livid the moment he saw the scene inside the room.
“Xia Yutong, what are you doing?”
“Brother, see? She claims to love you, but in reality, she’s just a slut! She can’t resist any man she sees. How despicable!”
Zhou Jin was overjoyed. When her eyes met Xia Yutong’s, her gaze was filled with pure provocation.
Xia Yutong’s breath hitched. Since she had transmigrated here, she had to resolve this matter once and for all.
“That’s right, I slept with Su Yuanzheng.” She stood up. “Zhou Hengzhi, the one I truly love is Su Yuanzheng!”
“What did you say?”
Zhou Hengzhi’s eyes blazed with fury as he saw the ambiguous marks on her body. “You’re my woman!”
“No, I’m Su Yuanzheng’s woman!”
Xia Yutong took a step back, quickly wrapping her arms around Su Yuanzheng. “Zhou Hengzhi, let’s end this. Also, I was drugged, and it was your sister who did it.”
Zhou Jin’s face turned pale. “How did you?” How did she know?
Zhou Jin quickly rephrased her words. “You! How dare you slander me?”
“I’m not slandering you, Zhou Hengzhi. Just investigate, and you’ll find out!”
Thankfully, she had reacted quickly. If she hadn’t shifted the blame to Zhou Jin, Zhou Hengzhi would definitely have killed her, and neither she nor Su Yuanzheng would have gotten off lightly.
Su Yuanzheng grabbed her hand, his expression darkening as he was about to speak, but Xia Yutong covered his mouth. With a meaningful glance from her, he reluctantly stayed silent.
The current Su Yuanzheng was not yet a powerful figure. If he offended Zhou Hengzhi too severely, Zhou Hengzhi could crush him as easily as stepping on an ant.
Xia Yutong lowered her gaze, forcing out a few tears. “Zhou Jin, I know you don’t like me, but to harm me like this, to ruin my innocence, and to put such a shame on Hengzhi, you’re truly despicable!”
“No, no, Brother! It’s not true!” Zhou Jin panicked. “She’s lying! She and this Su Yuanzheng have always been improper. They’ve been together since they were kids, who knows how long they’ve been carrying on!”
Zhou Hengzhi gritted his teeth. “Was it you?”
“No, Brother! It really wasn’t me!”
Xia Yutong wiped her tears. “Whether it was or not, you can find out by investigating.”
Zhou Hengzhi: “Ah Huan!”
“Don’t, please, Brother, I…”
Zhou Jin knew she couldn’t hide it any longer and began to sob. “I just made a mistake in the heat of the moment!”
Xia Yutong finally let out a sigh of relief, interlacing her fingers with Su Yuanzheng’s.
Feeling the coldness and trembling in her fingertips, Su Yuanzheng glanced at her.
So scared, yet pretending to be calm she used to love Zhou Hengzhi so much, how could she change so suddenly?
Zhou Hengzhi’s eyes were bloodshot. “Zhou Jin, you are my own sister!”
“Brother, I didn’t mean to, but she bullied me too much. She humiliated me in front of everyone, sob.”
Xia Yutong knew she was very beautiful; a few tears were enough to make any man’s heart ache. Whether it was Zhou Hengzhi or Lin Wang, she had won them over using this method.
Only with Su Yuanzheng did she not need any tricks.
“Zhou Hengzhi, we’re not a good match. Your sister doesn’t like me, and your parents don’t like me either. We won’t be happy together. After last night after what happened, I feel that Su Yuanzheng is my true soulmate.”
