The Villain Turned Out to Be a Scummy Omega? [GL] - Chapter 4
In the pitch-black corridor, Song Ziqing curled her body closer to the soft chest supporting her. By the faint light of the moon, she caught a glimpse of the other woman’s red dress. Images of Lu Qinnian swaying gracefully before her eyes earlier that evening immediately flickered through her chaotic mind.
Song Ziqing’s heart skipped a beat. Feeling as though she were trapped in a dream, she reached up and brushed her hand against the woman’s cheek.
The pheromones of a top-tier Alpha had sent her body into a feverish state. When her scorching palm touched that icy-cold face, she instinctively recoiled from the chill, only to lean back against the woman’s shoulder in a daze. She let out a soft mumble: “Lu Qinnian. so soft… so comfortable…”
Lu Qinnian stiffened, her footsteps faltering for a split second. Without further hesitation, she strode toward the first villa on the right. That was her own room; Song Ziqing lived in the first villa on the far left.
Song Ziqing’s pheromones were growing more potent by the second. Lu Qinnian, still carrying her, knit her brows and quickened her pace. A sense of irritability flared within her, causing her own pheromones to leak out unintentionally.
Song Ziqing clung greedily to her shoulder, inhaling the rich scent of the Alpha. Already thoroughly induced, she boldly pressed her face closer to Lu Qinnian’s neck. Her own pheromones seemed to intentionally provoke the other woman, releasing themselves without restraint.
The moment she kicked the door open and entered her villa, Lu Qinnian found her own breathing becoming ragged. She glanced at the girl in her arms, her expression darkening further.
This scheming woman! Lu Qinnian cursed through gritted teeth.
She marched into the bedroom, intending to toss the girl onto the bed. However, Song Ziqing’s arms were wrapped tightly around her neck; as Lu Qinnian moved to let go, she was inadvertently pulled down with her.
Song Ziqing stared blearily at the woman hovering over her, drinking in her scent. The dense pheromones were cold and crisp, like being transported to a silent, snow-capped mountain filled with chilled pine and cypress. The scent of melting spring water and mountain mist wrapped around her. Though it was simply the scent of a snowy peak, it was intoxicating enough to make her crave more.
Lu Qinnian stared blankly at the person beneath her. Those lively almond eyes were fixed directly on her, clouded with a misty, mysterious haze. Thick Omega pheromones filled the room shamelessly a base of delicate roses mingled with the aroma of fruit wine. The blend of alcohol, fruit, and mysterious floral notes began to slow her thoughts, and her own pheromones started to stir restlessly.
Lu Qinnian’s lips curled into a dark, predatory smirk. “What kind of trick are you playing now?”
Her icy voice didn’t snap Song Ziqing out of it; instead, it felt like a provocation. Song Ziqing pulled harder on Lu Qinnian’s neck, tilted her head back, and pressed her lips firmly against the other woman’s.
Lu Qinnian froze completely. She remained paralyzed in a crawling position on the bed, her knees pressed against Song Ziqing’s legs and her elbows propped up beside her shoulders. Her willow-leaf eyes widened in disbelief as she watched the girl slowly close her eyes in enjoyment. Her heart rate spiked, but a final shred of rationality allowed her to tear Song Ziqing’s hands away. She scrambled off the bed, stumbling as she fled.
At that moment, the power in the Lu mansion was restored.
Back in the bedroom, Song Ziqing lay on the bed, her brows furrowed with exhaustion. She stared vacantly at the ceiling, her silver dress barely covering her upper thighs. Her long, slender legs were sprawled across the bed, and her fair arm was draped over her forehead. Her cheeks were flushed pink, and her chest heaved with heavy, labored breaths.
Lu Qinnian jerked her gaze away, fleeing the bedroom that was now saturated with their mingled pheromones. Stumbling into the living room, she found her suppressants and frantically sprayed them under her nose several times.
After a long while, she finally managed to calm down and stabilize her rampaging pheromones.
Suddenly, the bedroom door swung open with a loud thud. Lu Qinnian turned back alertly. Song Ziqing was leaning against the doorframe, her face crimson and her breath coming in gasps. She was staring at Lu Qinnian with burning, intense eyes.
Lu Qinnian’s heart sank. Having been stimulated by three top-tier Alpha pheromones in succession, the girl was clearly entering a heat cycle.
Feeling cornered, Lu Qinnian backed away, turned, and bolted out of the villa, locking the front door behind her.
Song Ziqing’s mind was a tangled mess. Her blood felt like it was on fire, and her skin began to burn. She suddenly recalled a plot point from the original novel where an Omega, killed by the original host, had suffered a pheromone collapse. Without any soothing, the Omega’s blood had reached a boiling point until their vessels burst a truly gruesome death.
Song Ziqing stumbled toward the door, only to find it locked from the outside. No matter how she rattled it, the door wouldn’t budge. She slammed her palm against the wood in a fit of rage. “Lu Qinnian, you bastard! Are you really trying to kill me to silence me?!”
In her distress, Song Ziqing hiked up her already short skirt, trying to let her body cool down, but it did nothing to help. Frustrated, she reached behind her to pull down the zipper, but it got stuck. Feverish and miserable, she began to shout curses: “Lu Qinnian! I’m going to kill you!”

The moment she yanked the zipper so hard it broke, the door swung open. Lu Qinnian was standing there, having gone to Song Ziqing’s room to find a soothing agent. Her eyes landed on the silver dress that had just slid to the floor, leaving the girl standing there completely exposed.
Before Song Ziqing could even react, she saw Lu Qinnian lower her head with a shifty, avoiding gaze and step inside, immediately closing the door behind her.
Song Ziqing lunged forward, intending to punch her, but her body was too weak. To make matters worse, her feet got tangled in the discarded dress, sending her falling directly into the other woman’s arms.
Lu Qinnian barely had time to react before she found her own dress being pulled down to her elbows by the falling girl, whose scorching cheek was now pressed firmly against her chest.
Song Ziqing froze. What little consciousness she had left told her she was in deep trouble.
Thinking fast, she decided to strike first. She looked up, glaring at Lu Qinnian with fury. “What do you think you’re doing?!”
Lu Qinnian was taken aback, her gaze turning complicated as she looked down at the feverish, crimson-faced girl slumped helplessly in her arms.
