The Top-Tier Alpha Is Lured and Captured by a Green Tea Merman - Chapter 4
Pei Yan dragged Xie Yu away, speeding off to a vacant villa he owned nearby. Although he rarely visited, the place was kept clean by a regular cleaning service.
After the biometric lock identified him and opened the door, he unceremoniously threw Xie Yu directly into the swimming pool.
Though there was a significant difference between pool water and seawater, anything was better than nothing; soaking for a while shouldn’t hurt.
Xie Yu: “…”
Brother truly is crude and careless.
The moment he touched the water’s surface, his body began to transform.
Long, curly white hair like seaweed, sharp ear fins, and eerie blue eyes—he looked like a siren from the deep sea, a creature so mesmerizing that one felt as though he only had to open his mouth to sing for everyone to fall at his feet in a trance.
His fingertips became sharp, with thin webbing growing between them. His legs merged into a thick, long, and powerful fish tail covered in silver scales that shimmered with iridescent light.
Pei Yan curiously touched it. It felt icy and smooth, actually quite pleasant.
To his surprise, Xie Yu’s body gave a slight shiver, and he became somewhat restless.
He flipped over, his caudal fin spreading open like a magnificent fan. The next second, it slammed violently against the water’s surface like a concealed weapon.
Water splashed all over Pei Yan.
Fuming, Pei Yan was about to scold him when he saw Xie Yu looking like a shy, bullied young bride.
“…Brother,” Xie Yu said, “the tail… you can’t touch it.”
Pei Yan, now soaking wet, was in a foul mood. His tone remained sharp. “Why not?!”
Xie Yu lifted his eyes to glance at Pei Yan before looking down again. “Touching it… means… Brother wants to mate with me. It’s a signal of courtship…”
The hand Pei Yan was using to slick back his hair froze.
Xie Yu bit his lip, his eyes shimmering like spring water. “So… Brother wants to…”
“I don’t! I don’t want to! Stop talking nonsense!” Pei Yan cried out in shock.
Xie Yu’s consciousness was gradually slipping. He curled his tail and leaned weakly against the pool wall. His cheeks were flushed, the corners of his eyes were damp, and his ice-blue pupils stared at Pei Yan in a daze.
Pei Yan pursed his lips and lowered his gaze. He felt that it was no longer appropriate for him to stay here.
If he stayed any longer, something was bound to happen!
He quickly scrambled to his feet, preparing to make a run for it.
The next second, a wet, slimy tail coiled around his ankle. With a sudden downward tug, he was pulled into a cold, damp embrace.
“Xie Yu!” Pei Yan roared.
Xie Yu looked at him pitifully, his beautiful eyes filled with urgency and pain. “Brother, I feel miserable.”
Pei Yan stunned for a moment. Could he be in heat?
No, he was an Enigma. It wasn’t called a heat cycle, but the meaning was more or less the same.
Xie Yu lowered his head, his nose twitching as he buried it against Pei Yan’s gland to sniff. The scent of the pheromones made his ear fins twitch comfortably, like two little folding fans.
His gaze grew darker and darker. His hands, which were supporting Pei Yan’s buttocks, began to rub restlessly.
Feeling violated, Pei Yan tried his best to push him away, but he was held fast by that damned tail.
He glared at Xie Yu. “Let go of me!”
Xie Yu took a deep breath, suppressing the urge to instantly tear off Pei Yan’s clothes and enter him. He reluctantly uncoiled his tail.
As his body became increasingly uncomfortable, Xie Yu groaned in distress. He…
Pei Yan’s eyes widened.
This filthy, lewd fish!
While Xie Yu moved restlessly, those ice-blue eyes remained fixed on Pei Yan. He called out passionately, “Brother… Brother…”
The sexy voice ringing in his ears shot straight to his skull before flowing into his limbs. Pei Yan swallowed hard. His eyes darted around uneasily, but they uncontrollably focused back on the scene before him.
Looking only at the upper body, one would think a god had descended—untouchable and divine. Yet, upon seeing what lay below, the contrast was jarring. It turned out even gods could engage in such “filthy” acts.
Even more striking was the fact that, at this moment, the creature’s entire heart and soul were focused on him.
Pei Yan was an Alpha after all, and his physical functions were perfectly fine. He couldn’t refuse such a sensual invitation.
Finally, he closed his eyes and reached out to grab Xie Yu’s wrist. To his surprise, Xie Yu’s tears began to fall instantly.
Pei Yan was bewildered. “What are you crying for?”
He hadn’t even done anything yet.
Xie Yu sobbed, “Why… you won’t let me smell you… and you won’t let me do it myself…”
Pei Yan’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He wiped away the tears and spoke in a voice so raspy and deep it was unrecognizable. He began to actively release his pheromones. “I’ll let you smell me, but you have to help me too…”
The blue, watery eyes were filled with desire, hardworking yet clumsy.
Pei Yan sat by the edge of the pool, head back, panting softly. His fingers were laced through Xie Yu’s curly, damp hair, stroking it with varying pressure.
Enjoying the touch, Xie Yu narrowed his eyes, his throat emitting comfortable sounds like a purring cat.
Suddenly, Pei Yan let out a soft hiss and lightly patted Xie Yu’s face…
After a long time, Pei Yan slumped against Xie Yu’s shoulder, breathing heavily. He recovered for a moment, then lifted Xie Yu’s chin and pressed his thumb against his lip, only to find it was already gone.
In contrast, Xie Yu licked his lips and smiled with a seductive charm, as if trying to draw out the most violent and crazed side of people for his own enjoyment.
“You…”
Pei Yan stared at him in shock.
The mood shifted instantly. Xie Yu obediently pressed his cheek against Pei Yan’s palm. His eyes looked like shimmering waves under the pool lights. He said with serious persistence, “Can Brother help me now?”
Pei Yan’s heart skipped a beat.
Pei Yan lay listlessly on top of a revitalized Xie Yu, looking like he had lost all will to live.
As if remembering something, he bit Xie Yu’s chest hard, not realizing he had provoked Xie Yu’s physical senses once again.
Startled, Pei Yan gritted his teeth and glared at him.
What he didn’t realize was that his body was covered in marks and his lips were swollen. That glare carried no deterrent power whatsoever; instead, it made one want to ravish him all over again.
And so Xie Yu did. His thick tail hoisted Pei Yan up once more…
By the time Pei Yan woke up, it was already the afternoon of the following day.
They had fooled around all night. Fortunately, fearing Pei Yan’s body couldn’t take it, Xie Yu had carried him to the bedroom instead of staying in the water. Still, they had ground against each other on the bed for quite a while before finally falling into a deep sleep.
This stinky croaker! Where does he get all this energy?!
Pei Yan sat up, rubbing his aching waist.
Xie Yu wasn’t in the room.
Where did he go?
Pei Yan threw on some clothes and went to the bathroom to wash up. He discovered his body was covered in marks. His gland was in even worse shape—the previous injuries hadn’t even healed before new ones were added. It looked horrific.
He cursed. Is that fish a dog?
Why didn’t he know how to use his saliva to heal him now?
That damned possessiveness!
After washing up while grumbling, Pei Yan left the room.
As he headed downstairs, he heard a rhythmic chopping sound from the kitchen. Confused, he walked over.
He saw Xie Yu standing at the counter, working hard at chopping vegetables, though his technique was clearly amateur.
Hearing the noise, Xie Yu turned and smiled. “Brother.”
Pei Yan leaned lazily against the doorframe, arms crossed. “Did you wash those vegetables?”
His voice was still a bit raspy.
Xie Yu’s hand froze.
Resigned, Pei Yan stepped forward, took the knife, and with a series of professional maneuvers, produced four dishes and a soup.
“Brother is so amazing,” Xie Yu praised.
Pei Yan didn’t think much of it. Conditions at the front lines were harsh, and food shortages were common; learning to cook was a necessary survival skill.
After eating, the two returned to the main manor.
Noticing the worsening state of Pei Yan’s gland and the fact that he returned with Xie Yu, the butler kept his head down and his eyes averted. It seemed the house would soon have two masters.
Pei Yan went to his bedroom. Xie Yu tried to follow him in but was strictly forbidden.
Xie Yu squinted and smiled. “Brother, do you want me to lick your gland to treat it?”
Pei Yan rolled his eyes.
How does this guy have two faces?
If he wanted to treat it, he would have done so long ago. He was clearly up to no good.
It was the same during the act last night. He was completely different from that pitiful creature in the swimming pool. He acted all fake and sweet to coax him, but in reality, he pinned him down and worked him half to death!
Otherwise, his voice wouldn’t be this hoarse.
Bastard!
He slammed the door shut.
Xie Yu blinked, his nose nearly grazing the door.
Why the sudden anger?
Pei Yan locked the door and went to the cabinet to get a suppressor patch. These were meant to block pheromones, but Pei Yan was using it as a bandage.
If Lu Xiao or He Bai saw him like this, they would definitely guess his relationship with Xie Yu. He didn’t want them to know he had been marked by an Enigma yet.
He would hide this for as long as he could.
Perhaps one day the mark could be washed away.
A week later, the young Prince, Gu Xibai, ended his galactic tour and returned to the Empire via starship.
His Majesty was delighted and held a grand banquet to welcome him, inviting high-level leaders from all sectors. On the surface, it was a normal welcoming party, but in truth, it was a front for a political marriage.
As an invitee, Pei Yan naturally had to attend. Furthermore, it was highly likely he would be introduced to Gu Xibai.
As the banquet time approached, Pei Yan went to the dressing room to change. Xie Yu sat downstairs, bored, watching television.
Suddenly, an emergency news bulletin flashed on the screen. Xie Yu’s eyes narrowed slightly.
“Recently, traces of merfolk have been discovered within the Empire. Statistics show that five Alphas have been attacked. Witnesses claim the merman is entirely crimson, over two meters long, and exceptionally fierce. Citizens are advised to travel with caution…”
The butler, who was busy tidying up nearby, gasped in fear. “Oh dear! Why would a merman leave the ocean to hurt people on land?”
Hearing movement from the stairs, Xie Yu calmly used the remote to change the channel.
Pei Yan fastened his last button. “What are you talking about?”
“Nothing,” Xie Yu said, cutting off the butler before he could speak.
As he took in Pei Yan’s appearance, a flash of amazement crossed his eyes, instantly replaced by a crawling, dark possessiveness. “Brother looks so handsome in this.”
So handsome that he didn’t want anyone else to see Pei Yan like this. He only wanted to lock him away for his eyes only.
Pei Yan wore a black military uniform that made him look tall and upright, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He looked different from his usual casual and flamboyant self; the buttons were meticulously fastened to the very top, radiating a cold, murderous aura that warned others not to approach.
But in Xie Yu’s eyes, this version of Pei Yan was incredibly alluring. His mind was filled with only one thought: tearing those buttons open with his own hands…
