The Stunning Omega CEO Always Wants Me to Mark Her - Chapter 9
As the words fell, the look in Wen Xiangzhu’s eyes shifted slightly as she stared at Lin Sui.
“Really?”
Her lips trembled. “Really.”
The room grew quiet for a while. Wen Xiangzhu’s hair was already dry, hanging loosely over her chest. Her small face looked pale and delicate, her expression complicated—no one could tell what she was thinking.
Feeling uneasy, Lin Sui withdrew her gaze. “Go inside. You’ll catch cold if you stay out here.”
“Mm.”
Wen Xiangzhu lowered her eyes and softly responded before stepping into the room.
Lin Sui remained standing outside for a long moment, hesitating.
She wasn’t sure if the scent in the room had dispersed yet…
Finally, after bracing herself, she pushed open the door and walked in.
The heavy smell of red wine had faded somewhat. Wen Xiangzhu was seated at the dressing table, head bowed as she scrolled through her phone, showing no intention of leaving.
The corner of Lin Sui’s brow twitched. For some reason, she suddenly felt out of place—like she was the guest here, and Wen Xiangzhu the host.
That couldn’t be right.
…
No, this definitely wasn’t right!
Inside her head, it was as if two little versions of herself were locked in a fistfight.
Before she could untangle her thoughts, Wen Xiangzhu suddenly looked up.
“Why isn’t jiejie coming over?”
Lin Sui glanced at her. Her fingertips curled slightly where her hand rested at her side, but her face stayed calm as she walked over. “Not sleepy yet?”
Wen Xiangzhu gave a small shake of her head, then smiled. “Does jiejie have plans tomorrow?”
“No…” Lin Sui hesitated. “Why do you ask?”
“The dorm assignment list was already sent to the group chat. You probably haven’t checked yet.” Leaning back a little, Wen Xiangzhu added, “If jiejie’s free tomorrow, I’ll help you pack.”
She paused, then pouted slightly. “It’s just a pity Omegas and Alphas can’t live in the same dorm.”
At that, Lin Sui froze. “You actually want to live in an Alpha dorm?”
“Mm…” Wen Xiangzhu blinked. “I just want to live with jiejie.”
Lin Sui hadn’t expected that answer and nearly choked. “Don’t even think about it. Even if it wasn’t the dorms, we still couldn’t live together.”
“Why not? Jiejie already slept with me that night it thundered.” Wen Xiangzhu’s little face scrunched in displeasure.
“What nonsense are you spouting?!” Lin Sui’s eyes widened as she drew in a deep breath. She sat down beside her, trying to reason. “You were the one insisting on staying in my room. I didn’t do anything.”
“But jiejie did do something—you just won’t admit it.” Wen Xiangzhu puffed her cheeks and murmured softly.
Lin Sui almost saw stars from frustration. “I… what exactly did I do?”
“You felt sorry for me and carried me onto the bed,” Wen Xiangzhu said, lifting her head with a sly smile.
Lin Sui was speechless, her chest tight with exasperation.
How had she not noticed before… this girl was so crafty?
She sighed and turned away, searching for her phone.
Where had she put it after her shower just now?
Wen Xiangzhu watched her rummage for a while before speaking up. “JIejie, are you looking for your phone? It’s right here.”
She pointed toward the dressing table.
Following her gesture, Lin Sui spotted her phone lying neatly on the surface.
“I didn’t touch it,” Wen Xiangzhu said with a blink, teasing glint in her eyes. “Though, I am curious… does jiejie keep secrets on her phone?”
Lin Sui shot her a look, walked over, and picked it up. “Do you keep secrets on yours?” she countered.
“Of course,” Wen Xiangzhu said with a mischievous smile. “But if jiejie wants to look, you can. The password is—”
“Stop.”
Lin Sui quickly cut her off. “I don’t want to know. I’m not interested.”
With that, she sat on the bed, unlocked her phone, and scrolled through the dorm assignments.
There were four dorm buildings in total—two for Alphas, two for Omegas.
In Building 1, she saw her name listed with Zhu Huan. She automatically flipped forward until she found Wen Xiangzhu’s name in Building 3, then paused.
Realizing how strange her instinctive reaction was, irritation pricked at her chest.
She shut off her phone and looked at Wen Xiangzhu. “I’m going to rest. You should head out.”
The younger girl blinked, her gaze dimming a little. “Mm… fine. But we agreed—I’ll come help you pack tomorrow.”
Lin Sui frowned, ready to refuse, but Wen Xiangzhu darted to her feet, slipped out, and even closed the door behind her, not giving her a chance to say no.
The sudden emptiness of the room pressed in. Lin Sui pressed her lips together, the thought of objecting dissipating almost instantly.
Forget it. Let her do as she pleases.
That night, Lin Sui lay awake, unable to sleep.
The moment she closed her eyes, the lingering trace of Wen Xiangzhu’s scent filled her nose. Her mind kept replaying the image of the girl standing in front of her, cheeks flushed, damp hair clinging to her face.
No. This wasn’t good.
For a teenager Alpha in the middle of adolescence, this temptation was far too great.
Which only solidified her determination—she had to move into the dorms.
Move! Absolutely must move! No hesitation!
Her sleepless night left her groggy the next day. She didn’t wake until close to noon.
When she finally checked her phone, she realized it was already late.
Her head ached from poor rest, and she lazed in bed until nearly one, only dragging herself up when hunger gnawed at her stomach.
After changing and brushing her teeth, she had barely finished tidying herself when there was a knock at the door.
“Jiejie, are you awake?”
Lin Sui frowned. Why did this girl always manage to knock right when she was done getting ready?
“It’s open, come in.”
Wen Xiangzhu nudged the door open with her elbow, then looked at Lin Sui sitting at the dressing table. With a smile, she said, “Jiejie, you must be hungry. Try the cake I just baked!”
She stepped in quickly, setting down a plate and a glass of milk.
On the plate was steaming hot cupcakes, topped with little pieces of hawthorn as garnish.
Lin Sui really was hungry, but accepting food felt… awkward.
She just stared at the cupcakes in silence.
Wen Xiangzhu blinked in confusion.
“Is it not good? Did I do it wrong?”
“No,” Lin Sui blurted before she could stop herself.
“Then why won’t you eat?” Wen Xiangzhu’s voice carried a thread of grievance. “At least try a little…”
Lin Sui took a deep breath and forced a small smile. “I was just lost in thought.”
With that, she reached out for a cupcake and took a bite.
Wen Xiangzhu’s eyes lit up. She leaned forward slightly. “How is it?”
“Mhm, it’s good.” Lin Sui replied, lifting the glass of milk and taking a sip.
Seeing that, Wen Xiangzhu looked very pleased. Her gaze wandered around the room before finally landing on the black suitcase sitting in the corner by the desk.
“Are you using that suitcase this time, Jie?”
Lin Sui tilted her head for a glance. “Yeah, but I haven’t packed yet.”
“I’ll do it!” Before the words had even settled, Wen Xiangzhu had already gone over, pulled the suitcase out, and laid it flat on the floor to unzip it.
“Wait—”
Lin Sui jumped up in alarm, quickly setting down what was in her hand and hurrying to the wardrobe. “I haven’t even gone through my closet yet. I don’t know what I’m bringing…”
“It’s fine. You just sit and tell me what you need, and I’ll help pack. I can even tidy up your wardrobe while I’m at it.”
She smiled sweetly, looking up at Lin Sui with a docile expression.
Lin Sui hesitated.
At home, there was usually housekeepers who came by to clean, but even then she only allowed them to do basic tidying. Touch her things directly, and she’d lose her temper.
So yes, her wardrobe was a bit of a mess…
Still, she had her pride.
Letting this younger girl she barely knew see her chaotic closet? She couldn’t bring herself to do it.
“No need, I’ll pack myself.”
Once she sorted out her thoughts, Lin Sui refused firmly.
At that, Wen Xiangzhu’s smile dimmed. “You really don’t want my help?”
“No.” Lin Sui met her eyes, her tone serious. “Go on out first.”
“…Okay.” Wen Xiangzhu lowered her gaze, dragging her feet toward the door with an air of disappointment.
Lin Sui watched her, a flicker of guilt softening her expression. In the end, she couldn’t quite let her leave like that. “By the way… thanks for the cupcake. I really liked it.”
At those words, Wen Xiangzhu paused mid-step. She turned back, her smile blooming once more.
“Then I’ll head out now.”
“Mm.”
After Wen Xiangzhu left, Lin Sui closed the door behind her. Turning back to the open wardrobe, she stared at the chaotic pile of clothes inside and fell into thought.

The day before school started, Uncle Wang drove Lin Sui and Wen Xiangzhu to a spot near the front gate.
Dragging their suitcases behind them, the two girls walked slowly toward campus.
Wen Xiangzhu trailed a step behind Lin Sui, her head lowered, lost in thought.
After a moment, she quickened her pace to catch up. “Jie.”
Lin Sui glanced at her. “What is it?”
“When we’re staying in the dorms… can I come find you?”
Her words caught Lin Sui off guard.
“Find me?”
“Yeah.” Wen Xiangzhu nodded.
“What for?” Lin Sui paused, then added, “If it’s something important, you can just say it between classes. You don’t need to come to the dorms.”
Wen Xiangzhu pouted, her head drooping in discouragement. She said nothing more.
As they neared the gate, the two parted ways.
Lin Sui went to collect her dorm access card and key. By the time she wheeled her suitcase into the dormitory, Zhu Huan and two other roommates were already there.
“There you are!”
Zhu Huan waved her over, then turned to the other two. “This is Lin Sui—you’ve probably heard of her, right?”
“Of course! I heard she won an award in the provincial black-belt competition. I even went by your classroom once to see you!” said a girl with a low ponytail and gold-rimmed glasses. She looked at Lin Sui with open admiration. “You’re amazing!”
Being praised the moment she walked in made Lin Sui a little embarrassed. She waved her hand with a smile. “Not really, not really.”
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself.” The ponytailed girl smiled shyly. “I’m Xia Yi, an Alpha, and the class monitor for Class Five.”
Then she pointed to the short-haired girl sitting quietly to the side. “This is Ye Shuqian, also from Class Five. She’s a Beta.”
Ye Shuqian offered a small, nervous smile. She seemed a bit shy. “Hello.”
Lin Sui nodded in greeting. But for some reason, she felt Ye Shuqian looked a little familiar, though she couldn’t place where she’d seen her before.
What’s more, Ye Shuqian seemed… almost afraid of her.
After exchanging contact info with everyone, Lin Sui went to her bed to unpack.
Zhu Huan, meanwhile, was full of energy, chatting nonstop with Xia Yi as if she had an endless supply of things to say.
By the time Lin Sui finally finished organizing, she pulled out her phone and idly scrolled through the forum.
For some reason, the old thread about Chen Huaxing’s failed confession had resurfaced again, now tagged HOT.
Curious, Lin Sui clicked in, only to find that he’d posted another update.
[Guys, when the midterm results come out tomorrow, if my ranking is higher than that Omega, I’ll give her another chance! Just wait for it!!]
[Bro, if you wanna keep simping, just admit it. Don’t go around saying you’re from our class.]
[Wait, which class?]
[People already decoded it in the comments. Go check the earlier replies.]
Reading this, Lin Sui narrowed her eyes and lifted her head, gaze passing over Xia Yi before landing squarely on Ye Shuqian.
“If I remember right… Chen Huaxing is in your class, isn’t he?”
