The Stunning Omega CEO Always Wants Me to Mark Her - Chapter 3
In all her life, Lin Sui had never imagined she would one day find herself buying suppressants for an Omega.
This was her first time stepping into a pharmacy that specialized in Omega products.
The clerk, a young Omega, greeted her with a practiced smile.
“Welcome. What can I get for you today?”
“Suppressants.”
The clerk’s smile brightened. “What scent do you usually use?”
The question stunned Lin Sui. “I… it’s not for me. I don’t know.”
“Ah?” The clerk blinked, then gave a knowing smile. “Oh, I see—buying for your girlfriend? You could always give her a quick call to check.”
“No!”
Lin Sui quickly denied it. “She’s just… an ordinary classmate.”
Her lips pressed together. Under the clerk’s all-too-understanding gaze, she reluctantly pulled out her phone—only to realize she didn’t even have Wen Xiangzhu’s contact saved.
Her hand stiffened slightly as she lowered the phone again. “She might not be… convenient to reach right now. Just recommend me something.”
“Of course.”
The clerk didn’t press further and instead brought out several varieties of suppressants, along with a packet of blocker patches.
“These are very effective. Every Alpha who’s used them swears by them.”
Lin Sui blinked. “Wait—aren’t these meant for Omegas? Why would Alphas—”
“Because they work too well,” the clerk said conspiratorially, with a mysterious smile.
Heat crept up Lin Sui’s ears, though her expression remained calm and aloof. “Fine. Wrap them all up. I’ll pay by card.”
“Certainly.”
The clerk even slipped everything into a discreet black bag before handing it over.
By the time Lin Sui returned home, that faint red wine fragrance had already seeped through the entire villa.
Her chest tightened. Quickening her pace, she went straight to Wen Xiangzhu’s room and knocked.
No answer.
They said Omegas could lose consciousness during heat. Could it be—
Her knocking grew faster, sharper, edged with unease.
Then, a soft, languid voice drifted from the room next door. “Jiejie, I’m here.”
Leaning against Lin Sui’s bedroom doorframe, Wen Xiangzhu squinted at her.
“What were you doing in my room?”
Lin Sui arched a brow, striding over to hand her the bag. “Suppressants and blocker patches. I didn’t know your preferred scent, so I bought one of each. Use whatever works.”
“Mm.” Wen Xiangzhu didn’t take the bag. Instead, she lowered her eyes, long lashes veiling her gaze. Her voice was faint, breathy. “Jiejie.”
“What?”
“Your pheromones smell like cedarwood.” She paused. “…They smell really nice.”
Lin Sui: “…”
“You’re delirious, aren’t you?”
But Wen Xiangzhu tilted her gaze up, eyes shimmering, glassy with the red wine scent curling around her—oddly enticing.
“Jiejie… too many suppressants can have side effects.”
“So what?” Lin Sui’s brow lifted. A thought struck her and her lips curved in a cold sneer. “Don’t tell me you’ve fallen for that Chen Huaxing? Forget it. I forbid it. You’re still too young to even think about being marked. An Omega can only be marked once in their life, but Alphas? Not so. You need to take responsibility for yourself.”
She paused. Wasn’t she overreacting? Almost as if she was being too… concerned.
To cover it, she added, “Otherwise you’d just embarrass the Lin family.”
Wen Xiangzhu blinked in confusion, lips parting softly. “It’s not like that…”
“Enough talk. Take the suppressant. Now.” Lin Sui’s tone was sharp.
The Omega dropped her gaze, looking faintly wronged.
A sudden, inexplicable irritation surged through Lin Sui. She yanked a vial of suppressant from the bag, tossed it aside, then seized Wen Xiangzhu’s hand and pulled her closer.
“How do you even use this? You inject it into the arm, right?”
She wasn’t entirely sure, and since Wen Xiangzhu stayed silent, Lin Sui skimmed through the instructions before fumbling through a shot herself.
“…Should be like this.”
She let go of Wen Xiangzhu’s hand, watching intently.
In moments, the flush faded from the girl’s cheeks, her gaze clearing.
Only then did Lin Sui exhale, relieved. She rummaged in the bag again and pulled out the blocker patches. Without giving Wen Xiangzhu a chance to resist, she tugged her over, brushed her hair aside, and loosened her collar—revealing the snow-pale nape of her neck, and the delicate gland at its center.
“Jiejie…”
Wen Xiangzhu gasped, startled. Then she bit her lip, falling quiet, her face blooming even redder.
Lin Sui’s lips pressed into a thin line. Her gaze lingered on the gland—a perfect, symmetrical one, just as the biology teacher had once described in class.
Her breath hitched. Snapping herself back to sense, she tore her eyes away and slapped a petal-shaped blocker patch onto it before hastily retreating several steps.
“That’s it. Go back to your room. Take your things.”
Without waiting for a reply, Lin Sui all but fled into her own room and shut the door behind her.
Her rationality felt dangerously close to slipping, smothered by the sweet, heady red wine fragrance that still clung to her. The air itself felt intoxicating.
Maybe it was because Wen Xiangzhu had been in her room earlier—the scent seemed even denser there.
She drew a deep breath, glanced at the wide-open window, then went out to sit on the balcony.
She needed air.
Outside, Wen Xiangzhu remained rooted in place for a long moment.
A faint smile curved her lips as her fingers brushed over the spot on her wrist where Lin Sui had grabbed her, then lingered on the blocker patch at her nape.
After a pause, she pulled out her phone and sent her desk mate a message.
[Mengmeng, who’s Chen Huaxing?]

It was past eleven when Lin Wei returned with Wen Wenfu.
A faint trace of pheromones still lingered in the house. Wen Wenfu caught it instantly.
“Wenwen must’ve entered heat.”
Lin Wei nodded. “Go shower first. I’ll check on her.”
“Alright.”
But instead of going to Wen Xiangzhu’s room, Lin Wei stopped at the door next to it. She knocked lightly.
“Suisui, are you still awake?”
Lin Sui tore her gaze from the novel on her laptop and stood to open the door.
“Mom? It’s so late—what is it?”
“I wanted to talk to you about something.”
Lin Wei was just past forty, but she looked much younger. Her softly curled hair was swept up neatly at the back of her head, giving her a brisk, capable air.
“Come in, let’s talk inside.”
Lin Sui stepped aside to make way.
Once the mother and daughter had closed the door and settled down, Lin Wei didn’t bother with small talk. She got straight to the point:
“Did Wenwen go into heat today?”
“Yes.”
Lin Sui nodded.
At that, Lin Wei lowered her gaze, thoughtful.
“You and I are both Alphas. We don’t really understand much about Omega issues. But your sister’s health has always been fragile, and at her age, her heats are especially unstable. You’re her elder sister—at school, you need to keep an eye on her. Do you understand?”
“Mm.” Lin Sui responded calmly. “I know. I only dislike Wen Wenfu. I wouldn’t take it out on Wen Xiangzhu.”
“Suìsuì, your Uncle Wen and I have already gotten our marriage certificate…”
Lin Sui let out a small laugh. “Yes, you two secretly registered it.”
“You child, how can you say it like that?”
“Mom, he got close to you by working as your secretary in the company. Of course he has an ulterior motive. How can you not see it?”
Lin Wei sighed.
“He endured the agony of having his mark erased for me. Don’t always assume the worst about him.”
Lin Sui said nothing more.
She knew her mother was already deeply ensnared by Wen Wenfu. At this point, nothing she said would change Lin Wei’s mind.
Sensing her daughter’s silence, Lin Wei let the matter drop.
“Alright, go get some rest. Review well these next couple of days. Do your best on the monthly exam.”
“Got it.”

Lin Sui spent the next two days immersed in review. Only when she walked out of the last exam hall did she finally feel the weight lift from her shoulders.
Never mind whether she knew how to solve them—she had filled in every bubble on the answer sheet with whatever came to mind. At least it was complete, and that felt reassuring.
“Sui-jie, want to check answers?!”
Zhu Huan rushed over with her bag bouncing against her back, blurting out, “Quick, before I forget—multiple choice was ACDA…”
“Stop, stop, stop.”
Lin Sui cut her off. “I didn’t record the answers.”
Zhu Huan froze, staring at her with betrayed eyes. “Why not? Do you know how long I spent memorizing them just so we could compare?”
“Zhu Huan, the exam’s over. We should be relaxing, not wasting energy on what’s already past. Even if we match answers, our scores won’t change, will they?”
Zhu Huan fell quiet for a moment, then sighed. “You’re right, philosopher. In that case—let’s hit the internet café! A new game just dropped two days ago, I haven’t tried it yet!”
“Alright.”
As soon as they booted up their machines at a café across from the school, Lin Sui pulled out her phone and called her driver.
“Uncle Wang, I’m with Zhu Huan. I’ll head home later on my own—you don’t have to wait for me.”
“Understood, young miss.”
Uncle Wang hung up with a chuckle and a sigh. “Fresh out of exams… she deserves a little fun.”
Just then, the rear car door was pulled open from outside.
Wen Xiangzhu slid in, blinking curiously. “Uncle Wang, where’s my sister?”
“Miss Lin is with a friend. She said she’ll come back later and told us not to wait.”
“What?”
Wen Xiangzhu frowned, suddenly recalling the phone call Lin Sui had exchanged with Jiang Wanwan a couple of days ago.
Could it be… they went to meet after all?
Her chest tightened at the thought. Without a second’s hesitation, she jumped out of the car again. Seeing the driver’s puzzled look, she quickly explained, “I’m going to find her, Uncle. You head back first—don’t wait for me.”
Without waiting for a reply, she walked off briskly.
“Wenwen? Did you forget something?”
At the school gate, Lu Xiaomeng—just finished cleaning the exam room—ran into her.
“I… no, it’s not that. Mengmeng, do you know where Lin Sui went?”
Instead of explaining, Wen Xiangzhu asked directly.
“She? Why are you looking for her? I heard she went to the internet café with Zhu Huan.”
“Which café?”
“The one right across the street. That’s usually where they go.”
“Got it, thanks.”
Hearing that Lin Sui hadn’t gone to meet Jiang Wanwan after all, Wen Xiangzhu breathed a sigh of relief she couldn’t quite explain. She was about to turn and leave when Lu Xiaomeng suddenly grabbed her arm.
“Wenwen, don’t go to places like that. It’s getting dark. We’re Omegas—we’re not like them… just go home, alright?”
“I’m not afraid.” Wen Xiangzhu’s tone was calm.
Lu Xiaomeng grew anxious. “Why do you want to chase after Lin Sui? You know what her reputation is like at school. Instead of avoiding her, you’re throwing yourself at her?!”
“Besides, internet cafés are full of Alphas. It’s not safe for an Omega like you!”
“Mengmeng.”
Wen Xiangzhu gently pulled her hand free, her voice steady. “Don’t worry. I’ll be fine.”
Because she believed—Lin Sui would never let anything happen to her.
