The Stunning Omega CEO Always Wants Me to Mark Her - Chapter 15
[Huh? Whose car is that??]
[I’d rather not say… let’s keep it a secret.]
[Is it someone from our school?]
[Yes, exactly.]
…
Wen Xiangzhu was scrolling through the replies when another notification popped up at the top of her screen.
[Lu Xiaomeng: Wenwen? The thread’s going a little off track. Do you want to clarify things?]
Wen Xiangzhu blinked, snapped back to the chat window, and typed:
[Hidden: No need. That was me.]
[Lu Xiaomeng: What??!!]
…
The next morning, after getting up, Wen Xiangzhu habitually walked toward Lin Sui’s room, only to find the door wide open and the room empty.
She frowned, then searched the house from top to bottom, but Lin Sui was nowhere to be found.
“Um, Aunt Lin.” Catching sight of Lin Wei stepping out of the study, she quickly called out, “Isn’t my sister home today?”
Lin Wei nodded lightly. “Wanwan came over this morning. She probably took Suisui out to the garden.”
“Wanwan?”
“Yes, Jiang Wanwan—Suisui’s fiancée. She’s very pretty. I think you’ll like her.”
Wen Xiangzhu’s lashes trembled, the light in her eyes dimming. She lowered her gaze slightly. “I see. Thank you, Auntie.”
“Were you looking for Suisui for something?” Lin Wei asked kindly.
“No, I was just asking.”
Lin Wei nodded again. “Those two don’t get to see each other often. It’s important they spend time together. I’m even planning to let Suisui stay at the Jiang family’s place for half the winter break.”
“Auntie,” Wen Xiangzhu pressed her lips together, “why does my sister have to marry Jiang Wanwan?”
The question lingered in the air, silence stretching between them.
Lin Wei sighed. “Marriage alliance… that sounds so cold. Back then, when Suisui’s mother had just passed away, the company was in shambles, losing money, nearly going under. It was the Jiang family who stepped in and helped us through the crisis.”
“At the time, Suisui and Wanwan were both still children. We adults made the decision—joining the families through marriage, so they could support each other.”
She smiled faintly. “Suisui has always known about this.”
Wen Xiangzhu lowered her gaze again, falling silent for a while before whispering, “But this arrangement was made by the elders.”
“Then what about my sister? What does she want?”

In the garden pavilion, Lin Sui and Jiang Wanwan sat across from each other, a small table between them covered with snacks and juice.
“Sui-jie, don’t you think I’ve gotten a little thinner lately?”
“Yes.”
Lin Sui looked at her and added, “But even if you hadn’t, you’d still look just as beautiful.”
Hearing that, Jiang Wanwan ducked her head with a smile, her cheeks tinged pink.
Just then, a familiar voice rang out from behind them. “Wanwan?”
Lin Sui’s body stiffened. She had arranged to meet Jiang Wanwan in the pavilion precisely to avoid running into Wen Xiangzhu.
If Wanwan found out Wen Xiangzhu was her stepsister, then how on earth was she supposed to explain pretending not to know her last time?
No, not just explain—how could she possibly justify it?
The thought left Lin Sui speechless with dread.
But Jiang Wanwan, spotting Wen Xiangzhu, lit up warmly. “Wenwen? What are you doing here? Come, sit with us!”
“Sui-jie, that’s not fair. Since when were you and Wenwen this close? You even invited her over without telling me?”
“Uh…”
Lin Sui opened her mouth but didn’t know how to respond.
Wen Xiangzhu sat down beside Jiang Wanwan, a faint smile tugging at her lips as she lifted her gaze toward Lin Sui. She said nothing, but her eyes shimmered with something dark and unreadable.
After a moment, Lin Sui let out a quiet sigh and decided to just rip off the bandage. “Wanwan, she’s not here as a guest.”
“Hm? Then who is she?” Jiang Wanwan tilted her head curiously.
“She’s my stepsister. She lives here now.”
Lin Sui lowered her eyes as she spoke softly.
The pavilion fell into silence for a long moment.
“Huh?” Jiang Wanwan blinked in surprise, then realization dawned. “Oh… so that’s it. I did hear Aunt Lin remarried, but I didn’t think…”
She coughed lightly and didn’t continue. “Actually, that’s… pretty nice. It just means we can all play together!”
“Yes, we can play together.” She murmured, then smiled as she pulled Wen Xiangzhu’s hand into hers. “Wenwen, now that you’re Sui-jie’s little sister, that makes you my sister-in-law. From now on, we’re family!”
“Mm…” Wen Xiangzhu’s lips curved into a smile, though it looked a little forced.
Lin Sui, sitting to the side, couldn’t make sense of it.
Were these two close or not? They looked affectionate enough, but it all felt strangely hollow.
Thanks, but no thanks. She couldn’t figure them out at all.
Creepy, honestly.
Luckily, Jiang Wanwan never brought up the time Lin Sui and Wen Xiangzhu had pretended not to know each other. They spent the day together, and when dusk fell, the Jiang family’s driver came to pick her up.
That night, once she was back in her room, Wen Xiangzhu finally remembered the post on the school forum.
Judging from the replies, everyone had already guessed the car belonged to Lin Sui’s family. Many were speculating about her relationship with Lin Sui, even linking it to the earlier gossip thread about “the top student.”
But instead of being upset, Wen Xiangzhu found herself pleased. In fact, she liked the misunderstanding.
She wanted them to think that way.
It was Lu Xiaomeng, though, who grew anxious and called her.
“Wenwen, shouldn’t you send the post to Lin Sui? She’d know how to handle it. Otherwise people will just keep making wild guesses about you two.”
“No need. Don’t trouble her with it. I don’t mind.”
Wen Xiangzhu lowered her gaze and spoke softly.
“But right now, everyone thinks you and she are—”
“It’s fine.”
“…Alright.”
Regarding that forum post, Wen Xiangzhu never mentioned a word about it to Lin Sui.
And since Lin Sui hadn’t checked the group chat or the forum in the past two days, she really had no idea what had happened.
She had made up for all the lost sleep from school, so by the time she returned on Sunday afternoon, she felt refreshed and energized.
But strangely, the moment she stepped into the dorm, she noticed Xia Yi and Ye Shuqian giving her odd looks.
Puzzled, Lin Sui didn’t ask anything. She simply sat on her bed and began unpacking.
After a while, Xia Yi couldn’t hold back any longer and leaned over.
“Um… Suisui, can I ask you something?”
“Mm, go ahead.”
Lin Sui replied casually.
“Well… you and Wen Xiangzhu… what’s your relationship, exactly?”
Xia Yi lowered her voice, asking cautiously.
Lin Sui froze for a moment.
“Me and… Wen Xiangzhu?”
No way—could it be that their relationship had been found out?!
Her mind raced nervously, only to hear Xia Yi continue:
“Yeah, everyone’s guessing. A lot of people are saying you two are dating already…”
“Dating?!” Lin Sui blinked in surprise, then suddenly let out a laugh.
“…Why are you laughing?” Xia Yi blinked back at her.
Lin Sui lowered her head. “It’s just… kind of ridiculous.”
“So that means what they’re saying on the forum isn’t true.” Xia Yi let out a sigh of relief. “I knew it. You, dating this early? No way.”
Lin Sui raised a brow and looked at her. “Forum?”
Xia Yi didn’t answer. Instead, she quickly pulled up the post and handed her phone over for Lin Sui to see.
Perhaps reassured by Lin Sui’s denial, Xia Yi seemed visibly more at ease.
“I knew it! Those people just spout nonsense because they’re anonymous. Some were even trying to stir things up, spreading rumors that Wenwen has a sugar daddy! Luckily someone said that was your car, and the thread got derailed after that.”
Lin Sui scrolled silently through the replies. When her eyes landed on the comment that had clearly been trying to stir trouble, her expression darkened.
So someone had followed them—or maybe just happened to snap a picture of her and Wen Xiangzhu getting into the car together—and posted it online.
But the photo only showed Wen Xiangzhu, and that suspicious, agenda-driven comment in the thread was hard to ignore.
Just as she was thinking about it, the dorm door swung open.
Zhu Huan swaggered in.
“Ladies, your Queen Zhu is back!”
“…”
Nobody really cared.
“What’s going on?” Zhu Huan noticed Lin Sui’s unhappy expression and quickly came over. “What happened?”
“Did you see this post?”
Glancing at the screen, Zhu Huan nodded. “Yeah, of course. Wait—you’re only finding out now?”
Lin Sui: “…”
Seeing her silence, Zhu Huan’s eyes widened. “No way, you really didn’t know?!”
“I thought you already… What were you even doing all weekend?”
“Spent time with Jiang Wanwan. And sleeping.”
“…Huh?” Zhu Huan frowned. “You two… already moving that fast?!”
Lin Sui sighed. “I meant, I hung out with her for a day, then spent most of the rest of the time catching up on sleep.”
“Oh. Scared me for a second.”
“…”
Xia Yi, who had been listening on the side, couldn’t hold back her curiosity.
“Um… who’s Jiang Wanwan?”
“Lin Sui’s fiancée,” Zhu Huan answered bluntly.
Xia Yi blinked. “You have a fiancée?! Then these rumors are way off! What if your fiancée sees this and misunderstands?”
Lin Sui thought for a moment and realized she had a point.
“I’ll have someone delete the post, and while they’re at it, track down whoever made that comment trying to stir things up.”
That night, the thread vanished from the forum.
But the rumors had already spread across campus. Plenty of students had taken screenshots, so deleting it did little to contain the damage.
The next morning, as Lin Sui and Zhu Huan left the dorm for class, Zhu Huan muttered irritably,
“Suisui, don’t you think a lot of people are staring at you weirdly?”
“I noticed.” Lin Sui yawned. “Let them look. They can’t see through me, and I’m not losing any skin over it.”
Zhu Huan nodded at that, and said no more.
The situation dragged on until noon, when Lin Sui received a message on her phone:
[We found them. The poster is Feng Yue, an Omega in Class 5, Grade 2. That comment was posted by someone named Lu Rong, also an Omega from Class 5. Word is, the two of them are close.]
[Got it.]
Lin Sui typed back, then slipped her phone away.
“Come on, let’s get lunch.” Zhu Huan pocketed her own phone and stood up.
“Not yet.”
Lin Sui narrowed her eyes slightly, rising slowly to her feet. Her gaze swept toward Wen Xiangzhu ahead of them.
“Let’s call Xia Yi to come along too.”
“Huh?” Zhu Huan frowned in confusion. “Didn’t you say she was annoying?”
“That was before. Now… there’s something I need to ask her.”
Her tone was calm, but firm.
Zhu Huan blinked, then suddenly caught on.
“Wait—is this about the post? Xia Yi’s involved?”
“No. But it has something to do with people in Class 5.”
Wen Xiangzhu, who had been quietly lowering her head and listening the whole time, finally spoke up softly:
“Um… can I come too?”
