The first time Lin Sui met Wen Xiangzhu was during summer vacation.
Beside her mother sat a man, smiling warmly:
“Suisui, this is Wenwen. From now on, she’ll be your little sister. She’s an Omega, so you must protect her.”
With her head lowered, Wen Xiangzhu walked forward. A shy blush tinged her pale cheeks as she softly called out:
“Jiejie…”
As an Alpha blessed with both a powerful pheromone and the Lin family’s status, Lin Sui had always been feared and kept at arm’s length. She was used to being alone. Suddenly gaining a younger “sister” was something she couldn’t accept.
She warned her coldly, over and over:
“Don’t call me ‘sister’ at school.”
But Wen Xiangzhu never backed down—quite the opposite. It was as if she had decided Lin Sui was her person, following her everywhere: to the bathroom, to the dormitory, no exceptions.

Her roommates soon noticed Wen Xiangzhu secretly imitating Lin Sui’s outfits.
“Why does she always copy you?”
Lin Sui only cast a glance, her patience thinning, and gave no reply.
Later, when their parents asked Lin Sui for advice on buying Wen Xiangzhu new clothes, the pretty Omega’s eyes sparkled as she answered directly:
“I like what Jiejie wears.”
Lin Sui: “…” Copycat!
Then came an accident after drinking—Lin Sui temporarily marked Wen Xiangzhu. Worse, she forcibly interrupted it halfway, leaving the girl with aftereffects.
Because their pheromones were an extremely rare high match, Lin Sui was forced to treat her.
Treatment meant: hugging and cuddling on ordinary days, and temporary marks during her susceptibility.

Everything spiraled when Lin Sui learned her engagement had been annulled—the fiancée she’d been betrothed to since childhood broke things off because she
believed Lin Sui had been seduced by Wen Xiangzhu.
At last, Lin Sui lost her temper:
“Why do you keep clinging to me? What’s so fun about copying me? Are you really that desperate for love?”
Wen Xiangzhu’s eyes instantly welled red. She looked at Lin Sui, wounded, then silently turned and walked back to her room.
From that day on, Wen Xiangzhu completely ignored her. She moved back into the dormitory and carefully avoided Lin Sui whenever she walked.
At first, Lin Sui wasn’t used to it, but didn’t care much. Yet as days went by and Wen Xiangzhu no longer hovered around her, she felt an unbearable emptiness.
After stewing for days, she finally couldn’t take it anymore and asked her old roommate for advice.
The roommate, after listening to her story, only looked at her helplessly:
“You’re seriously dense.”
Lin Sui: “?”
So, is it too late to start chasing my wife now?
