- Chapter 3 - His Possessiveness
He knelt down halfway, cupping the fluffy and broad wolf tail, and began to blow gently on it. This caused Song Shidu’s body to tremble. Song Shidu reached out to cover Jiang Ningxun’s mouth, saying, “It does not hurt. Hurry up and eat. Once you are finished, you can sleep for a while longer.”
Jiang Ningxun rested his cheek against the wolf tail, looking up at him with a smile in his clear, light-colored eyes. “Is the fragrant balm I bought pleasant to smell? Your tail is very fragrant right now.”
“…”
Song Shidu’s gaze changed in an instant. He leaned down, his voice laced with aggressive desire. “Ningxun, I have been restraining myself. Have you not noticed?”
The moment those words left his lips, Jiang Ningxun sprang up like a startled cat. He clutched his aching waist, not daring to tease him even a little bit more.
Truly, if one does not seek death, one will not die.
In order to ensure the future freedom of his own two legs, he realized he had to strictly control his mouth!
The wolf tribe possessed incredible stamina and physical drive. Furthermore, Song Shidu was exceptionally clever. If he were given a few more chances to experiment, the consequences would be dire.
While Jiang Ningxun was lost in thought, a chicken leg was suddenly stuffed into his mouth. His cheeks puffed out instantly, and his train of thought was forcibly diverted. “Mph, mph!”
He chewed and swallowed. The chicken meat was fresh and tender, bursting with rich juices. It was so delicious that he forgot everything else.
Ever since the two of them moved in together for school, Jiang Ningxun had not dared to enter the kitchen. Because he was a “kitchen killer,” Song Shidu had naturally taken over the task of cooking.
Neither of their families was overly wealthy, nor were they destitute. Both had been raised in the circumstances of “little young masters.”
Where would Song Shidu have learned to cook?
On the first day, the food was terrible. Jiang Ningxun had no choice but to bring back two buckets of instant noodles to get through the day.
After that, however, the meals suddenly became significantly tastier. It turned out that Song Shidu had spent money to attend culinary classes. After several years, his skills were comparable to those of a five-star chef.
It had to be said that from childhood to adulthood, Jiang Ningxun had hardly seen a single flaw in Song Shidu.
The only downside was that he was far too clingy.
No matter where Jiang Ningxun went, he had to report his whereabouts. If Song Shidu had time, they would travel together. If he did not have time, he simply would not let Jiang Ningxun go out at all.
Before their relationship was finalized, this situation was relatively mild because Song Shidu had no standing to control him. However, once they became lovers, this behavior intensified visibly to the naked eye.
His level of control and possessiveness was truly staggering.
A moment later.
Song Shidu had barely eaten any of the side dishes. Instead, he spent his time deboning the chicken legs. He placed plate after plate of tender meat in front of Jiang Ningxun, then ate the one chicken leg that had been slightly burnt during frying himself.
Jiang Ningxun gave a helpless smile. “I cannot finish all of this by myself. You,” he started to say, but was interrupted.
“The vast wilderness is my love! At the foot of the rolling green mountains, the flowers are in bloom!”
Suddenly, Jiang Ningxun’s ringtone echoed from the bedroom. He set down his chopsticks and walked inside.
His phone was vibrating beside the pillow. He looked at the caller ID on the screen. It was a call from a contact labeled: Junior Li Chengwang.
Jiang Ningxun did not expect Song Shidu to follow him in. Song Shidu’s tall figure leaned in slightly, catching sight of the caller’s name. He said in a flat voice, “Is he the kid from the new class who started chasing you for your phone number shortly after school began?”
“Ah, you remember that so clearly?” Jiang Ningxun was surprised by his memory.
“I remember. Because he tried to add me back then, but the only reason was to use me to get to know you.”
Song Shidu gently took the phone from his hand. His movements were incredibly tender, but the moment he turned around, his eyes became exceptionally cold.
He answered the call. A young man’s laughing voice immediately came through from the other side. “Brother Jiang! Brother Jiang! Do you have time today? It was not easy for us to get a holiday too. Let us go out and play! How about a Script Kill game?”
The noisy background on the other end made it clear that Li Chengwang was not alone.
Jiang Ningxun had a sunny and extroverted personality. His appearance was bright yet gentle, and he possessed a very approachable aura. Consequently, he was very popular at school. Compared to Song Shidu, who made a whole room go silent just by standing there, people were much more inclined to communicate with Jiang Ningxun.
Therefore, Jiang Ningxun never lacked people to hang out with. However, with Song Shidu acting like a great guardian deity at the gate, any passing suitors or friends were frozen out by his cold demeanor.
And so, a bizarre scene unfolded.
Song Shidu spoke. “No, he does not have time. I am declining on his behalf.”
The noise on the other end of the phone vanished instantly.
Li Chengwang gave a forced laugh. “Well, alright then. Perhaps we seniors and juniors can get together another time?”
Song Shidu replied, “There is no need for such trouble. We will not be meeting. If there is nothing else, I am hanging up. By the way, since you are not in the same year or the same department, do not call this number unless it is absolutely necessary.”
It was, indeed, very rude, but the effect was excellent.
The call was disconnected. The room fell silent.
Song Shidu began to wonder how he should explain himself. He had acted so presumptuously without even asking for permission. Would Jiang Ningxun be unhappy now?
“Pfft.”
To his surprise, a light chuckle came from behind him.
Turning around, he saw Jiang Ningxun collapsed on the bed, trembling. He was trying very hard to stifle his laughter. Finally, a sound broke through, and he could no longer hold it back. “Hahaha, I am laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes.”
His fox tail slapped against the bed repeatedly, acting in place of his hands.
Song Shidu froze, feeling hesitant and uncertain. Why was he laughing?
Jiang Ningxun looked up at him and laughed. “The way you look right now is exactly like a protective mother, afraid her child will turn bad if she lets him out the door. No, wait. You are afraid that I will fall in love with someone outside and never come home, so you do not even give me the chance to go out.”
This domineering side of him was simply too interesting.
Song Shidu was puzzled. “You do not blame me?”
“Blame you for what? I intended to decline as well.” Jiang Ningxun wrapped his arms around Song Shidu’s waist and said with a bright smile, “I did not want to go out today anyway. I will stay home and keep you company, okay?”
“Yes, okay,” Song Shidu nodded heavily.
A fox is truly a fox. His seductive methods left this abstinent and overbearing black wolf completely enchanted and lost in thought.
At twelve o’clock noon, the ceiling shook incessantly, as if they were in the center of an earthquake.
At two o’clock in the afternoon, the storm showed no signs of stopping. Song Shidu seemed even more in his element during their discussion.
It was not until four o’clock in the afternoon that the earthquake finally subsided.
Jiang Ningxun lay on the bed with his teeth clenched. He regretted it. He should not have agreed to stay home today!
Unfortunately, he was a Beta. Jiang Ningxun reached a hand toward the back of his neck. There were many tooth marks there. A wolf’s teeth are very sharp.
Every so often, Song Shidu’s wolf-like nature would erupt. He would bite the neck, instinctively demanding his partner’s submission. He had to use every ounce of his rational self-control to avoid biting down too hard.
Because a Beta is not an Omega, after all. Biting the neck is very painful and can lead to injury.
Jiang Ningxun spoke up somewhat dejectedly, “I am not an Omega. Do you feel unsatisfied?”
Song Shidu was already on the verge of falling asleep. Hearing this, he tightened his grip on the person in his arms and said with deep attachment, “No. All I want is you. It has nothing to do with gender.”
Jiang Ningxun slowly turned around and burrowed into his embrace. Their two tails intertwined, and gradually, they both fell into a deep sleep.
The cold chicken legs in the kitchen seemed to say, “Nobody ever told us that after we died, we would be treated with such cold indifference!”
