- The Seductive Wife Kisses and Teases While His Black-Bellied Childhood Friend Spoils Him Crazy
- Chapter 2 - Jealous of His Ex
The two were childhood friends who had grown up together. They attended the same schools from a young age, and now they even attended the same university. Their fate was a curious thing; they had even been neighbors as children.
Now, it had been a little over a month since they graduated. It was only at graduation that they finally confessed their feelings to one another, and last night marked their very first time together.
Unfortunately, Jiang Ningxun was a Beta, and in that regard, he could not quite satisfy a high-level Alpha.
Lying on the bed, Jiang Ningxun felt a sharp sting in his waist every time he moved. He buried his face in the pillow, his ears turning a deep, explosive red. He muttered to himself gloomily, “Ah, damn. That nearly killed me. If I knew it would be like this, I would not have done it.”
“I really did not expect us to reach this day.”
He peered out, revealing a pair of watery eyes. His fox-like features were stunning; the elongated corners of his eyes tilted upward, giving him a flirtatious, smiling air even when he was expressionless. Whenever he made eye contact, it gave people the deep, affectionate illusion of “I love you.”
In the current ABO world, fox-type demi-humans were the quintessential “playboy” type. Their appearances were usually incredibly charming and attractive; in the entertainment industry, those with fox-like features were the most prominent and popular.
They were also the ones prone to the most scandals.
Jiang Ningxun had once entertained the idea of becoming a star, but he met with Song Shidu’s fierce opposition. Song Shidu would deliberately show Jiang Ningxun the complexity and darkness of the entertainment industry.
For example, just as Jiang Ningxun finished a shower, Song Shidu would “accidentally” tune the TV to an entertainment news segment about a celebrity being “kept” by someone, getting entangled in a four-way love affair, and then being fined hundreds of millions and getting beaten.
Or, when the two went shopping, they would “accidentally” encounter a celebrity being mobbed. A massive wave of fans would chase them like zombies hungry for meat, leaving the star scurrying around like a tired dog, only to be captured by anti-fans as a meme for public ridicule.
Once, Jiang Ningxun bought two tickets to a concert. He “accidentally” got front-row seats and witnessed a stalker charging the stage with a knife. Fortunately, they were intercepted, but the concert was immediately terminated out of fear.
After this series of “accidents,” Jiang Ningxun successfully gave up his dream of stardom. It was just too terrifying.
That day, Song Shidu remained expressionless on the surface, but he was ecstatic inside. In his joy, he cooked six plates of chicken legs. Jiang Ningxun could not finish them all and gained several pounds at once. It was not until he realized he could not fit into his old clothes that he felt the sky was falling. He immediately began a weight-loss plan.
In the Kitchen
Song Shidu stood in a black shirt and an apron. He was tall and slender, with clear, well-defined muscle lines. He was sturdy and symmetrical yet elegant, exuding a powerful masculine aura and charm.
His hands skillfully flipped the chicken legs in the pan. The fragrant aroma wafted through the air, waking the drowsy Jiang Ningxun inside the bedroom.
Wearing a thin, warm-colored hoodie and no pants at all, Jiang Ningxun walked out of the bedroom, rubbing his sleepy eyes as he entered the kitchen. Seeing Song Shidu cooking so seriously, he smiled with satisfaction. He leaned against that broad back, rubbing his soft chestnut hair against it. “You are almost turning me into a useless person.”
Song Shidu turned his head slightly, his eyes deep and tender. “It is almost ready. Help me get the plates.”
“Fine, but I want a reward.”
Before Song Shidu could react, Jiang Ningxun hooked his finger into the man’s collar, pulled him down, and pressed a kiss onto his lips. He then left a red-faced Song Shidu behind to go fetch the plates.
It took quite a while for Song Shidu to recover. His hands moved faster as he flipped the chicken legs, and his wolf tail began to wag faster and faster, even more joyfully than a dog’s.
Jiang Ningxun rinsed the plates with water and set them on the table. Another pang of pain hit his waist, and he leaned against the table, motionless, a fresh wave of grievances rising in his heart.
Song Shidu spoke nonchalantly, “These tricks of yours, you have not used them on anyone else, have you?”
“I am referring to that person.”
Jiang Ningxun froze. He sat down in a chair and, after a long pause, tried to change the subject with a smile. “Are these plates enough? I see you fried quite a lot; I am afraid they will not fit.”
The person Song Shidu referred to was none other than Jiang Ningxun’s ex. He was his first love.
Back in university, there was a snake-type Alpha senior. Jiang Ningxun had been attracted to him and used his youthful, somewhat clumsy methods—writing confession letters and giving gifts—to finally seduce the senior and make him his first partner.
Everything seemed fine at first; Jiang Ningxun was even considering marriage. However, after three months together, the senior suddenly demanded a breakup and dumped him. He even threw everything Jiang Ningxun had given him into the trash right in front of his face, including a custom limited-edition necklace engraved with both their names.
From then on, Jiang Ningxun drank every day, so despondent that he barely attended classes. He had not expected that his first emotional investment would result in nothing but a heart shattered in a trash can.
It was during that time that Song Shidu cornered him in a stairwell and confessed aggressively, providing the catalyst for them to get together.
Even after winning Jiang Ningxun over, Song Shidu was filled with insecurity. Because he was so close to Jiang Ningxun, he had seen how deeply committed he was to his first love. He felt like a “villain” who had intruded upon a broken heart. He did not know if Jiang Ningxun truly liked him or if he was just a source of comfort after a traumatic breakup. He was terrified this relationship would not last three months before shattering. That was why, last night, he had greedily claimed Jiang Ningxun’s first time.
Just as Song Shidu was sinking into his dark thoughts, a sharp sting hit his earlobe. Jiang Ningxun had leaned in and nipped it, his hot breath and magnetic, pleasant laughter following. “What is wrong? Are you jealous?”
“The vinegar you added to the chicken is not nearly as strong as the jealousy you are swallowing.”
Song Shidu lowered his eyes. “I am not.”
Jiang Ningxun’s fox tail hooked around Song Shidu’s wolf tail, giving it a little spin. “Your tail is not even wagging anymore. If that is not a bad mood, what is?”
He cupped Song Shidu’s face, meeting the man’s startled eyes, and gave a solemn promise. “Song Shidu, I have given you my first time now. I will stay with you forever. We will get married, raise a kid, and grow old together. There are still many firsts left; I will give them all to you from now on, okay?”
His expression was serious, providing a sense of security that comes from being firmly chosen.
Song Shidu’s heart suddenly hammered. His gaze became dazed and increasingly heated. He said in a low, husky voice, “Remember your words. If you ever regret it, I will definitely…”
He did not finish the sentence, seemingly feeling that what he was about to say was not quite right.
Jiang Ningxun finished it for him, smiling radiantly. “If I ever break my word, you can just tie me up and keep me in a dark room for some play!”
Song Shidu frowned slightly, his expression a mix of helplessness and doting. “You, stop reading those kinds of things.”
“Do not tell me you do not want to?” Jiang Ningxun looked at him, his face not reddening in the slightest.
Of course Song Shidu wanted to, but he still maintained the facade of a gentleman. Ultimately, he crumbled under Jiang Ningxun’s renewed seduction. He leaned in and kissed him, silencing the mouth of the little troublemaker. They kissed passionately, nearly losing themselves in the moment right then and there.
Suddenly, they smelled something burning. Turning around, they saw that because Song Shidu had been wagging his tail too fast, the tip of his wolf tail had fallen into the frying pan and been fried to a crisp. The chicken legs inside had also turned completely black.
“Pfft, Hahaha!”
Jiang Ningxun burst out laughing, showing no mercy.
The scene shifted.
The table was covered with plates of chicken legs, one of which had turned to charcoal. Song Shidu sat in a chair with a dark, silent face. His soft yet coarse tail was being held tenderly by Jiang Ningxun. The tip of the tail actually smelled quite tempting.
Jiang Ningxun leaned in to sniff it, carefully trimmed the scorched fur with scissors, and applied ointment. Finally, he tied a bandage into a bow.
“Ta-da!” Like a magician, Jiang Ningxun presented his handiwork, straightening the bow. “Does it not look great? Oh, do not look so miserable. The fur will grow back. I sprayed it with perfume, see? No more fried smell.”
Jiang Ningxun tilted his head with crescent-moon eyes, looking like a child waiting for praise.
Song Shidu stretched out his wolf tail. Amidst the dark gray fur, the white bow stood out prominently, its edges featuring a gradient pink. It was a signature Jiang Ningxun touch. When it wagged, it looked incredibly girly.
In this world where humans and demi-humans coexisted peacefully, humans decorated their hands and feet. Demi-humans, however, spent their efforts making their ears and tails look glamorous. Many demi-humans took their grooming very seriously; some would even hang gold and silver jewelry on their tails until they were too heavy to wag.
While Song Shidu was not that extreme, he valued his tail just as much as Jiang Ningxun did.
Jiang Ningxun asked, “Does it hurt? Let me blow on it for you.”
