The Scandalous Actress Needs to Strive GL - Chapter 1
Night. Upstairs at the largest “Sise Bar” on Queen Street in Xicheng, Mu Qingchen looked at her best friend with a dazed expression. A sudden coolness spread over her feverish body, and her rationality instantly returned.
Pushing hard with both hands, she buttoned up her almost completely unzipped shirt, ignored the woman who had fallen to the floor, turned around, and put on the jacket from the foot of the bed.
“Qingchen, if you’re going to give yourself to someone, you might as well give yourself to me.” The woman on the floor reacted, stood up, and blocked her path.
Mu Qingchen frowned, forcefully suppressing the heat in her heart, and softly spat out a few words: “Zhou Lanlan, don’t disgust me.”
This was her childhood friend and best friend, who had suddenly confessed her feelings last month. After being rejected, the two had been in a cold war for a month, and she hadn’t expected the scheme tonight.
Zhou Lanlan’s eyes welled up, and she subconsciously stepped back, ultimately not daring to do anything more. She only regretted that the drug in the wine hadn’t been strong enough. Mu Qingchen had been unconscious for only a few minutes before she regained clarity. If it had been just a little later, she could have had her wish fulfilled.
After leaving the room, Mu Qingchen remembered where she was and headed towards her own room. The floor above Sise Bar was a hotel. Similar scenes were playing out in the luxurious suites, some of which hadn’t even had their doors closed, letting out a few enticing sounds.
Her eyes flickered, and her consciousness gradually drifted away again. She walked with larger strides, finally finding 206.
Mu Qingchen took out her room key, but before she got close, her body tilted, and she stumbled into the room. She was momentarily confused, seemingly unable to figure out why the door had opened itself. Locking the door, she walked unsteadily towards the bathroom.
However, her vision was interrupted by a figure on the bed. A few curses and the sound of kicking the door came from outside, and then there was silence.
Mu Qingchen’s steps changed direction, and the way to the bathroom became the way to bed. In this well soundproofed suite, she shouldn’t have been able to hear the noise downstairs, but she felt as if her eardrums were being rattled. She couldn’t tell if it was the music downstairs or her own heartbeat, and the last shred of rationality in her originally clear eyes finally dissipated.
“Mmm…”
Qiu Wan, who had been sleeping soundly, was woken up by Mu Qingchen’s high body temperature. She opened her eyes and saw an unparalleled beauty pouncing on her. A shiver on her neck instantly drove away the deep sleepiness.
“Miss… What’s wrong with you? Hey? Don’t… Miss, what are you do…ing…”
Qiu Wan was both dodging and trying to use her voice to wake the disoriented person. Just as she was about to jump off the bed, her ankle was suddenly grabbed. Half her body fell to the ground with a thump. Before she could cry out in pain, the beauty pounced on her again.
An urgent yet soft touch came to her lips. Qiu Wan’s resisting movements paused, and she blinked, her mind momentarily confused. She looked up, her face flushed, followed by a surge of pain, and it seemed something went with it.
“Go… to the bed,” she managed to utter with difficulty. The person on top of her seemed to have heard, and the movements paused. The two entangled themselves and returned to the bed.
Mu Qingchen seemed to be dreaming. She dreamed that her body was on fire, so hot it almost burned her. Then she seemed to have pressed down a woman, and later, she was pressed down by that woman.
After opening her eyes, she stared blankly at the unfamiliar yet familiar face in front of her. Then she subconsciously reached out. The two under the covers were stark naked.
Her incredibly sore waist, her almost numb legs, and the discomfort welling up in that place all indicated what had happened. Mu Qingchen opened her eyes in disbelief, then slowly lifted the covers. The sheets were unevenly dotted with red “plum blossoms,” and even the quilt was stained with a few dried red marks.
After seeing the person beside her, a hint of grievance flashed across her usually icy face. She had kept her chastity for 26 years, only to lose it to a “Central Air Conditioner” yes, a Central Air Conditioner.
Mu Qingchen knew this woman a third-tier celebrity signed to her company for four years. Because she had too many scandals and an alluring appearance, she had always maintained a “black and red” status (infamous yet popular).
The fact that she could maintain her “black and red” popularity for four consecutive years was due to Qiu Wan’s ability. This woman’s romantic news was spectacular, having been involved in scandals with many second and third-tier female stars in the industry. As for A-list female stars, she didn’t have the capability, nor did she dare to provoke them.
Privately, she was nicknamed the “Entertainment Industry Female Player.”
While Mu Qingchen was still stunned, the person beside her woke up.
“Ah, my wrist is so sore.” Qiu Wan softly exclaimed, then remembered the propriety expected of the Prime Minister’s daughter, and so she put away the flirtatious expression on her face and primly lowered her eyebrows.
Mu Qingchen watched her expression change repeatedly, her heart filled with complex emotions. She simply said nothing.
Qiu Wan rubbed her forehead and looked at the person quietly sitting beside her with eyes as clear as autumn water. After a while, her ears were slightly red, and she forced herself to say calmly, “My surname is Qiu and my given name is Wan. May I ask which family’s young mistress you are? If you don’t mind, I will return now to discuss the date for the marriage proposal with my father. Are you willing to be my wife?”
Although the girl was the one who initiated things last night, she had also lost control later, so it was hard to say who was right or wrong. She was a well-educated person with high demands on herself and naturally wouldn’t engage in a one-night stand.
Fortunately, she didn’t dislike this girl, and could even say she was somewhat fond of her. It was good that this dynasty allowed women to marry women. They could take their time getting to know each other, and it would be wonderful if they could stay together until old age.
Mu Qingchen raised her attractive eyebrow and looked at Qiu Wan with a peculiar expression. What was this woman saying? Had she been acting so much that she was delusional? Or was she feigning innocence to fool her?
Being stared at like this, especially by someone she had been intimate with, was too much for Qiu Wan, no matter how much she tried to control her expression. She looked down slightly, avoiding Mu Qingchen’s gaze, and a flush appeared on her fair face.
Mu Qingchen’s expression grew even more peculiar. This “Player” who flirted everywhere could blush? She looked like she was shy. She truly was an actress. This pure look could really fool people. Her breathing tightened, and she thought, No wonder she can charm the whole entertainment industry. Faced with this image of a beauty with downcast eyes, who could remain unperturbed?
“You… don’t recognize me?” Mu Qingchen asked tentatively. She rarely showed her face in public and always wore sunglasses when going out. Only a few top executives had seen her at the company. After all, as the head of the largest entertainment company in the country, there were too many persistent admirers hoping to offer themselves to her.
However, as an artist signed to her own company, it shouldn’t be difficult to find out what she looked like. So, was this woman genuinely ignorant or just pretending? Was that night of fleeting passion accidental or deliberate? Everything remained unknown.
“Hmm? I haven’t seen you before, Miss. Judging by your expression, do you know me?” Qiu Wan smiled, thinking something. She was the Prime Minister’s daughter, so many people naturally knew her. Therefore, this young lady must have seen her before, but she definitely didn’t recognize the girl.
She figured the girl’s family background must be ordinary, but she wouldn’t discriminate against her.
