The Regent died halfway through his ambitious empire-building, murdered by the little Emperor. He then fell into a book titled My Perfect Military Female Zerg.
In the book, he is Mu Ling, a hedonistic and cruel aristocratic Male Zerg who bullies his younger brother. His brother, Mu Ai, is the story’s protagonist, and happens to share the exact same name as that ungrateful little Emperor from his past life.
The System introduces the plot: “Mu Ling, Third Prince of the Empire, you are the biological brother of the protagonist, Mu Ai. As a precious Male, you possess the potential to ascend to King Zerg status. You are feared throughout the Empire for your violent nature. At age 18, you will toy with a Military Female, causing him to miscarry before abandoning him. Your brother will take him in. That Female will later become a Double-S rank powerhouse, helping your brother become the King Zerg, get revenge on you, and absorb your King Core.
As the ‘Competitor System,’ I suggest you immediately improve your relationship with the protagonist and treat that Military Female well when you meet him at age 17. Make him fall for you at first sight so you can be the one to ascend as the King Zerg.
Special Note: The protagonist has a ‘Protagonist System’ that is more powerful than me. Please act fast.”
Mu Ling declines: “No thanks. The worldviews of these Zerg are twisted, their values are a mystery, and their life philosophies are bizarre. Their heads are filled with nothing but mating. I’m not interested.”
System: “Then I suggest the ‘Protagonist’s Partner’ route. Give the Military Female to the protagonist.”
Mu Ling: “…That brat is white-skinned but black-hearted, an ungrateful wolf. It would be a waste of my professional skills.”
System: “A reminder: they just share a name, they aren’t the same person…Also, what is your ‘professional skill’?”
Mu Ling: “Civil administration and military strategy. Securing the borders, bringing peace to a prosperous age, and providing tranquility to the common people.”
“System is planning a new route…”
Mu Ling decisively: “There is something wrong with this world. It needs to be corrected. I will only accept a ‘like-minded’ companion to travel this path with me.”
“System emergency searching for “like-minded” individuals…”

Empire Red Notice: Leader of the Bandit Gang in Northern Sector 3: S-rank Female Zerg, Tang Luosi. Bounty: 200 million Zerg Crystals. Crime: Murdered his Male Master using appalling methods. Note: Capture dead or alive.
System: “This ‘like-minded’ person is too ferocious. Please reconsider.”
Mu Ling: “He’s the one.”
At age 19, Mu Ling ran away from the palace to the “grey zone” on the edge of the Empire—the Bandit Gangs, to implement the rebellion he had been plotting for ten years.
“The Zerg are incapable of self-correction, I must bring in ‘human’ outside help to rectify this twisted society.”

The Empire’s Females: “Your Highness, why are you rebelling? Is the entertainment not good enough? Are we not obedient enough? Did someone break your heart or are the palace snacks not tasty? Tell us, and we will go exterminate them!”
Mu Ling: “D*mn it, you idiots!”
