Synopsis
At the trial of an organized crime case, Gu Ye was like a sharp blade, sending the group of wicked men to prison with ruthless, clean, and decisive action.
On her light blue prosecutor’s uniform, the badge on her chest shone brightly, with “Hua Guo Prosecutor” (China Prosecutor) engraved on the golden outer ring.
Outside the courtroom, bailiff Lin Fan removed her cap. The silver-white badge faced forward, clipped under her left armpit. She stood at attention, poised and heroic, standing guard and escorting her.
Gu Ye’s relationship with Lin Fan is the very definition of a “true turnaround” (eating her words).
After acting aloof, she could only pursue her with a cold face.
She wanted to coax her, but she couldn’t bring herself to swallow her pride.
In the end, she could only set a trap and wait for the “rabbit to hit the stump.”
And Lin Fan, who never shows mercy when catching debtors, ultimately and willingly walked into the prosecutor’s trap.
The badge on your chest illuminates the epaulets on my police uniform, as if silently saying: I love you.
Lin Fan thought her relationship with Gu Ye was merely a pure revolutionary camaraderie focused on upholding justice.
Who knew that this cold, glamorous, older-sister-type prosecutor was just as effective in love as she was in handling cases?
“I never let a criminal go, and that naturally includes you, my little thief who stole my heart.”
My Miss Prosecutor, you’re so good at sweet-talking; do your defendants know?
