The Omega Becomes The Zerg Queen - Chapter 14
Chapter 14: Livestream Preview
In her past life as an OMEGA, the ALPHAs pursued her and loved her, but their attitude was always a downward gaze—a look from the top down.
Now, her identity and that of the man before her, who possessed a strong ALPHA temperament, had been reversed. She was the Queen looking down upon him. What she had to do was train him, conquer him, make him fall in love with her, make him submit to her, and turn him into the shield and blade in her hand.
Taming a wild hound into a house dog?
Su Lili pressed the tip of her tongue against her teeth, a trace of interest flickering in her eyes. She actually felt a bit eager to try.
The King left the Hive and went to the Black Prison. Location
The Black Prison… could it be to see THAT person?
There’s no one else but him…
What’s so special about him? To make the King go specifically to see him—he’s just a waste-bug with a broken spiritual sea.
Maybe the King just likes the Bee-type. I can smell the jealousy from the person above from two galaxies away.
Bee-type?
Hmph, it’s just a Bee-type.
The King is young; she hasn’t seen the charms of other races yet. Once she does, what would a Bee-type even matter?
Am I the only one who thinks things aren’t that simple?
Ahem, please don’t get sidetracked. Our focus should remain on the King’s health.
Setting aside the fact that because of this single possibility, Bee-type mimicry gear on the Zerg network sold out instantly, the most discussed topic on the Zerg web was still the King’s safety and health.
Why did the Queen not show her face after returning to the Mother Planet? Why was her first stop the Medical Institute? Why was she traveling between the Hive and the Black Prison?
#What is happening to the King?#
The questioning of billions of Zerg tagged the major official accounts so much they almost paralyzed the system. There were even spontaneous marches on the streets of the Mother Planet, with Zerg demonstrating and demanding that the Sanctuary explain the King’s physical condition as soon as possible.
“Should we arrange for the King to appear?” The adjutant summarized the various news from the web and presented it to Lucius, asking for his opinion.
The silver-haired youth pondered for a moment, his slender fingers lightly adjusting his glasses. “I will inform the King and ask for her wishes.”
At 1:00 PM, which was the customary lunch break for Zerg companies, the majority of Zerg were usually drowsy under the influence of their biological clocks.
But today was different.
The Sanctuary official account, in conjunction with the three major Legion accounts, sent out a notice punctually:
**Livestream Notification: @AllZerg, tomorrow night at 7:00 PM, the Queen will see you there.
Retweet for a random draw: three lucky winners will be chosen to have a voice-link with the Queen.**
As soon as this news broke, the official “Chongbo” website was paralyzed almost instantly by the surging traffic.
The King was going to meet them!
And in an unprecedented move, three lucky winners would get the chance to speak with the King!
You, me, him—everyone had a chance. It was an absolutely fair and just lottery that anyone could enter!
Some people tried to find shortcuts by buying “alt” accounts to increase their winning probability, only to find that on the black market, the alt accounts that used to be everywhere had all gone offline. The Zerg network enforced a one-person-one-account system, and under the temptation of a voice-link with the Queen, no Zerg was willing to give up their account.
Zerg from all over the galaxy impatiently logged in and retweeted, silently hoping they would be that one-in-a-billion lucky winner.
Some even started shopping, grooming, and dressing up in advance, preparing to greet the Queen’s livestream tomorrow in their best state. In the major malls, various gorgeous formal dresses—usually disclaimed by these bellicose Zerg—sold out in a single afternoon. There were even brawls between Zerg fighting over a single dress.

Su Lili also took this livestream very seriously.
Aside from the quest issued by the system, in her view, this livestream was her first formal meeting with the entire Zerg race. To avoid disappointing the subjects who cared for and loved her on the internet, she, as the Queen, should treat it with care.
“Which dress do you think I should wear?”
The formal dresses prepared by the Zerg for the Queen almost filled the entire banquet hall. With so many styles and patterns, she was overwhelmed.
“I think this one is good.” Lucius, with curved brows and eyes, walked over to a pure white Empire-waist gown. Light white gauze hung from the 3D-sculpted neckline, and hidden silver threads shimmered under the light like flowing moonlight—pure and sacred. It looked somewhat similar to the priestly robes the youth wore. “This one is very good.”
Zephyrus walked silently to a black strapless gown and stood still. The pure black dress had no other colors, only a white ribbon tied at the waist to outline a waist that could be held in one hand. The exquisite tailoring and high-quality silk fabric made it look exceptionally elegant and charming. A slender slit in the front ran from the collarbone down to the bust, hinting at a subtle sexiness. It echoed his black military uniform. “This one suits you well.”
Ferran lightly lifted a dark green lace gown. Dark green silk threads were woven into a dense and complex butterfly pattern; the dark green further highlighted the Queen’s fair skin. The gown was a backless design, with a giant lace butterfly embroidered into the hollow area on the back. The translucent wings of the butterfly covered the wearer’s shoulder blades, fluttering slightly with their movement. The bottom was a form-fitting mermaid design that showcased the wearer’s waist-to-hip ratio. It was indescribably sexy. Placed next to his dark silk shirt, they looked like an elegant and proud noble couple stepped out of an ancient painting.
Celar said, “Look at this one, My King.” The twins brought forward a light-colored Rococo gown. Layers of pale pink, pale blue, pale purple, and white silk-cotton lace were piled onto a magnificent cake skirt. The square-round neckline design revealed the wearer’s long neck and shoulder line. The neckline and cuffs were adorned with matching pearls and gorgeous gemstones—complex, exquisite, and dreamy. “You look very good in pink and purple,” Damian added. They were wearing matching white embroidered suits with silver vests today, which looked exceptionally well-paired with this gown.
In the banquet hall, the Zerg glanced at each other, each seeing the same unconcealed dissatisfaction and contempt in the others’ eyes.
Their little schemes are way too obvious, aren’t they?
They crowded around the King. “My King, which one do you think looks better?”
Five pairs of beautiful eyes of different colors and styles looked over. Everyone had a smiling, sincere expression on their face.
But Su Lili, standing in the center of their gazes, felt a strange smell of gunpowder and a sense of pressure ignite in the air.
Five people, four choices.
Her eyes wandered over the four equally beautiful dresses. She held her forehead, suddenly feeling caught in a dilemma.
She regretted it—if she had known, she wouldn’t have asked.
