The Omega Attacked the Alpha - Chapter 14
“What’s wrong with you? Why is your face so red?”
Song Tao set down his cutlery and stood up, walking toward Qin Zheng. He reached out, intending to feel the Alpha’s forehead to see if he was running a fever.
“Don’t come any closer!”
Qin Zheng suddenly roared, startling Song Tao and causing him to freeze in his tracks. Song Tao immediately snapped back, “What is wrong with you? Why are you yelling at me for no reason!”
He really couldn’t give this guy an inch of kindness.
Song Tao couldn’t be bothered to go over anymore. An Alpha with a physique as powerful as Qin Zheng’s wouldn’t die from a little fever or a cold. Nursing his own silent anger, he sat back down and prepared to go back to his meal.
If Qin Zheng didn’t coax him today, things weren’t going to be okay.
To his surprise, Qin Zheng didn’t offer any comfort. Instead, he issued a cold order: “Get out.”
If one had to describe how Qin Zheng felt at that moment, he was sitting on pins and needles—or rather, he desperately wanted to find something needle-shaped to sit on, get up, and sit back down again. Of course, something as thin as a literal needle wouldn’t do.
Realizing what he was thinking, Qin Zheng felt a surge of humiliated rage. He slammed his wine glass onto the table. “I said, get the hell out!”
He was clearly on the verge of losing his mind.
As for Song Tao, he was the innocent target of this displaced fury.
Qin Zheng could feel something flowing out. He didn’t need to guess; it was definitely “water.” The Succubus effect was terrifying; he didn’t even need to do anything for that place to turn into a literal flood, actively preparing itself.
Moisture was good. It made it easier for things to enter and satisfy his hunger.
But he couldn’t control it. Just keeping his horns, wings, and tail from manifesting was consuming every last drop of his willpower.
The Alpha’s large hand gripped the edge of the table so hard the veins bulged, looking almost grotesque. He glared at Song Tao and barked again: “Get out!”
The way he looked made it seem like they shared a blood feud. It was chilling and heartbreaking, especially compared to the decent atmosphere they had shared just moments ago.
Song Tao’s nose stung with the threat of tears, and he felt incredibly wronged. He wasn’t one to take mistreatment lying down, but he was also stubborn to a fault—and he naturally loved to do the exact opposite of what Qin Zheng wanted.
Despite his reddened eyes, he remained motionless in his chair, ignoring the order and continuing to eat his dinner.
If there was one person in this world Qin Zheng had to hide his Succubus nature from, it was Song Tao. Given the brat’s mischievous and wicked streak, Qin Zheng—who had been in power for seven years didn’t even want to imagine what kind of humiliating schemes Song Tao would dream up to torment him.
Since he couldn’t drive the boy out with words, he had to use force while he still had some control left.
Suddenly, a group of bodyguards filed into the private room. Song Tao’s doe-eyes widened in shock before he glared through gritted teeth at Qin Zheng, whose breathing was ragged as if he were fighting an internal battle.
Seeing the Alpha in such a state, a flash of insight flickered through Song Tao’s mind.
It was too fast and too blurry to catch.
The bodyguards surrounded him. Lu Yao, the one at the front, said with a touch of polite distance, “Please.”
Courtesy before force. This was the respect they granted him solely because of Qin Zheng.
In truth, it would be easy for Song Tao to win this. He wouldn’t even need to lift a finger; he could just peel off the blocking patch behind his neck and release a massive burst of pheromones. Within five seconds, every single one of them would be on the floor.
But on second thought, there was no need for that. His pheromones were his ultimate trump card, and he wouldn’t reveal them unless he was in actual danger. The current situation was a simple case of two fists against many hands. He set down his fork, stood up, and walked toward the door without a word.
Hidden beneath his lowered lashes, his grey-blue eyes darted around. Suddenly, he made an unexpected lunge toward Qin Zheng. The bodyguards’ expressions shifted instantly, and seven or eight hands reached out to grab him.
With his long legs, Song Tao covered the distance to Qin Zheng in two strides. As the gap closed, their faces blurred in each other’s vision. He saw Qin Zheng recoil in panic. For some reason, that handsome, cold face was flushed with shame. The Alpha moved so violently he nearly fell off his chair in a disheveled heap.
Five or six hands seized Song Tao by the shoulders and arms. Amidst the pain of feeling like he might be torn apart, he was dragged backward. In his shaking field of vision, he caught sight of the prominent “tent” in Qin Zheng’s trousers.
The heavy door to the room slammed shut.
The guards let go. They lined up in front of the door, standing shoulder-to-shoulder so that not even a fly could get through. Their eyes, though masking a hint of awe at his appearance, remained alert, watching Song Tao to prevent any further outbursts.
Song Tao leaned against the wall, his brow furrowed in deep thought. Qin Zheng was definitely hard.
But why?
It certainly wasn’t because of him. If Qin Zheng could get hard for him, pigs could fly. They had been having a perfectly normal dinner; that erection was anything but normal.
Could he have been drugged?
He looked past the guards at the closed door, his confusion deepening. They had eaten the same food, and Song Tao had actually eaten more. If the food was spiked, he should have had a reaction too. Could it be that his pheromone-related condition made him immune to both sedatives and aphrodisiacs?
He clicked his tongue in frustration. Something was wrong. Qin Zheng’s reaction was entirely off.
If it were just a drug-induced erection, there was no reason for an Alpha like Qin Zheng to be so secretive and ashamed. He would have simply called a doctor to handle it and then ordered a full investigation of the hotel. That would be the normal response.
Song Tao licked his lip ring. So, what kind of shameful secret is making Qin Zheng so terrified?
He stared at the door as if he could burn a hole through it, his curiosity gnawing at him. He almost regretted not knocking the guards out, but that would have affected Qin Zheng too. If Qin Zheng were incapacitated, would that hinder what was about to happen?
He didn’t know. He didn’t even know what was happening behind that door.
On the sofa, the previously impeccably dressed Alpha was now in a state of disarray. Qin Zheng was kneeling on the sofa, hunched over. Because of his size, the sofa felt a bit small, forcing him to curl his body inward. This made his curves appear even more exaggerated, radiating a sense of vulnerability mixed with pure eroticism.
Though he knew it wouldn’t solve the core issue, Qin Zheng had no choice; he had to work on himself to find some form of relief.
What else could he do? Call an Alpha in to do it for him? He’d rather die.
His horns, wings, and tail had all manifested. The black horns were small, a gradient of black to light purple from base to tip, the points shimmering like translucent crystal.
A pair of small wings in the same gradient grew from his shoulder blades. The Alpha’s back was broad and powerful, making the addition of such delicate, “cute” features look incredibly striking. Each wing had five skeletal ribs, the tips adorned with diamond-shaped, gem-like structures that added a touch of exquisite luxury.
Following the dip in his muscular spine down to his tailbone, a slender tail had appeared.
If touched, one would find it covered in short, fine fur that felt amazing to the skin. The thin tail flicked around rhythmically until the pink, heart-shaped tip suddenly seemed attracted to something. It whipped around and plunged straight toward the area where the “water” was overflowing.
As it entered, a few stray droplets splashed into the air.
More and more of the tail disappeared inside.
The Alpha collapsed against the sofa, his hips raised high, the small black mole under his left eye appearing almost pink in the haze of his arousal.
