Yun Yun is a food blogger with synesthesia.
To her, sight and taste are intertwined; every person possesses a unique flavor in her eyes. One day, she sees Qi Ziling on a screen, and with just a single glance, she understands the flavor of love.
Then, Qi Ziling—the youngest international Grand Slam “Movie Queen” in history—suddenly retweets a post. It’s a giveaway post for Yun Yun’s homemade pickles, captioned with two words: “Mine.”
The internet goes into a frenzy:
“Why is the great Qi Ziling retweeting an 18th-tier influencer? Heavens, they’re following each other!”
“The Goddess is a foodie? She follows my favorite food blogger? This is unscientific; the barrier between worlds has shattered!”
That evening, when Qi Ziling returns home, Yun Yun is busy preparing dinner. Qi Ziling leans in, her voice low and intoxicating like aged wine:
“From now on, you are not allowed to post giveaways for food on Weibo anymore.”
“Hmm?”
“You, and your cooking, are both mine.”
