The Movie Queen’s Charming Little Wife: Feigning Amnesia Online - Chapter 2
Chapter 2
Xue Luhe’s movements were rough and showed no mercy. Her beautiful fingers pressed down hard, firmly pinning Lin Mo’s thigh. The pain made Lin Mo let out a sharp cry:
“Ah! Let go of me!”
Lin Mo struggled with all her might, screaming hoarsely while trying to scurry toward the headboard. She wanted to dash to the window and shout for help.
But Xue Luhe’s hands were like cast iron. One hand pinned her leg, and the other held her waist, completely immobilizing Lin Mo’s entire body. She couldn’t move an inch.
Lin Mo could only strain her neck, shaking her head wildly. Her hands pushed desperately against Xue Luhe’s shoulders, but she couldn’t budge her at all. She screamed, kicking and flailing, her fists and feet landing hits on Xue Luhe’s body.
Yet Xue Luhe was like a robot from a movie. No matter how much she was hit, it had zero effect. She continued her next move with the same brutality.
“Aaahhh! Let me go! Let go!”
Through her blurred vision, Lin Mo saw the person hovering over her suddenly lift her upper body. One hand reached into her pocket and pulled something out.
When Lin Mo saw what it was, she almost died of fright. She fell into a state of animalistic paralysis, temporarily forgetting even to struggle.
It was a small, coiled leather whip—exquisitely crafted with diamonds inlaid on the handle!
Just how perverted was this Xue Luhe? She actually carried something like this on her person. What kind of bizarre hobby was this? Was she a transmigrated palace disciplinarian?!
Xue Luhe raised the whip but didn’t let it fall. Instead, she used the coiled end to pat Lin Mo’s head.
“Don’t play tricks with me. Besides, your tricks are far too old-fashioned.”
Lin Mo: “…”
She didn’t rush to answer. Taking advantage of the fact that Xue Luhe only had one hand restraining her, she quickly flipped her body over. She found a corner of the massive bed piled with plushies and stuffed half of her body into it.
Thus, the upper half of Lin Mo’s body was covered by a pile of kittens, rabbits, turtles, bears, and various pink dolls. The scene actually looked somewhat cute.
Xue Luhe slowly unrolled the small whip and flicked it twice in the air. The crisp crack sound nearly made Lin Mo jump out of her skin.
Lin Mo stole a glance and noticed that Xue Luhe’s usually stoic lips were suddenly curled up slightly. The corners were uneven, and the edges of her eyes flickered upward. She wore a deep, mocking sneer.
Lin Mo used a giraffe plushie to press down on her own head. She was so nervous that her mind was a constant loop of chanting: This is a dream, this is a dream… It won’t hurt, it won’t hurt… It’s all fake, it’s all fake…
The sound of Xue Luhe snapping the whip was earth-shattering. With every crack in the air, Lin Mo’s legs shook harder. Eventually, she was shaking like a sieve, causing the entire bed to vibrate.
A voice as deep and elegant as a cello rang out:
“It’s not the first time you’ve seen it. Don’t be afraid.”
Lin Mo blurted out: “This is the first time I’ve seen it!”
Having found a sudden burst of courage, she added: “I don’t remember anything from before!”
Xue Luhe knelt on the edge of the bed with one knee, her hand still pinning Lin Mo’s thigh. Hearing this, her beautiful, upturned phoenix eyes scrutinized her once more.
Meeting that gaze, Lin Mo didn’t see much malice; it was mostly curiosity. She couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief, thinking she might avoid a beating after all…
The next second—Snap!—Lin Mo felt a chill on her ankle!
She was stunned. Clutching her giraffe plushie, she looked down. A white mark had appeared on her ankle, and it was rapidly turning red and swollen!
A stinging pain surged through her entire body, giving her no time to react!
Tears instantly gushed out of Lin Mo’s eyes. She looked across through a hazy veil of tears, only to see Xue Luhe holding the whip, still watching her with that calm, emotionless gaze.
“Still acting?”
Lin Mo’s tears flowed uncontrollably, her heart filled with hatred. She grabbed the dolls on the bed and threw them at Xue Luhe’s face one by one, using every ounce of her strength.
A few bears and bunnies were swatted away by Xue Luhe’s hand. She ignored the rest, letting them hit her face and body. Her gaze remained fixed on Lin Mo’s every move, as if trying to dissect her heart and see through her true thoughts.
Lin Mo’s ankle burned with pain. After throwing the dolls, she tried to jump off the bed. She cried loudly, her words a jumbled mess:
“You… you’re sick! I… I don’t know anything! You just start hitting people! You… you suddenly barge into my room and hit me! Waaaah… it hurts so much, waaaah…”
Lin Mo crawled to the edge and jumped onto the carpet. The moment her ankle touched the floor, a piercing pain shot up. Her tears fell like rain, instantly soaking the carpet.
In Xue Luhe’s eyes, Lin Mo’s figure was petite and fragile. Her hair was a mess, her entire face was flushed from crying, and her eyes were as swollen as steamed buns.
Yet, even so, her eyes held a clean, simple brilliance that Xue Luhe found strange.
It was a look that had never appeared on the “old” Lin Mo. Even when the former Lin Mo cried, it was the exact opposite of this.
Xue Luhe watched quietly, then moved unobtrusively to Lin Mo’s side.
Lin Mo limped along, picking up her jeans from the floor to put them on. She groped her way toward the door, sobbing hoarsely as she walked:
“I… I don’t remember who I am… I’m going to find a doctor… I’m calling the police… You pervert, I’m calling the cops on you! You big pervert! Waaaah… Why am I so miserable! I just woke up, I don’t know anything, and everything hurts! Waaaah!”
As she limped to the door, Lin Mo saw the photos on the floor. She felt a momentary pang of guilt but quickly hardened her heart to continue her performance:
“How… how could you say that’s me? I could never do something like that, it’s disgusting! That definitely isn’t me, waaaah…”
Okay, okay, don’t overact, Lin Mo cautioned herself, gripping the doorframe to move outside.
Her string of “combos” was partly to gain Xue Luhe’s trust and partly to numb her enemy, looking for a chance to escape this place. The priority was to get away from this pervert, starting with getting out of this room!
Just as victory was in sight, Lin Mo suddenly felt her calf wrapped by something as cold as an ice snake. A powerful force yanked her backward!
Lin Mo was already weak. She hadn’t eaten since waking up and had no strength left. Being pulled like that, her arms flailed wildly as she fell backward.
There was no carpet near the door! If the back of her head hit the floor, it would be over. After finally getting a second life, was she going to face a “Game Over” so soon?
However, the expected hardwood floor didn’t come. Instead, Lin Mo felt herself fall into a soft, comfortable embrace.
She looked back. Xue Luhe was holding her with one hand. She was in a half-supported, half-embraced position, with her head pressed against the other woman’s chest!
Xue Luhe held her with one hand while the other gripped the whip she had just used to pull her back. She stood very steadily.
Her deep black pupils were like inorganic glass, or like a predator staring down its prey, looking deep into Lin Mo’s eyes.
“Want to run?”
Lin Mo, still teary-eyed, tried to keep acting:
“I… I’m going to find my memory… and call the police to catch you, you bastard! You burst into my room and whipped me! I… it hurts so much!”
Xue Luhe blinked indifferently and casually threw Lin Mo back onto the messy bed. Her movements were quite rough.
“You’ve certainly become addicted to acting. Fine. Let’s see how long you can keep it up.”
Xue Luhe walked to the bedside step by step. The leather whip was like an obedient little snake, submissive in her hand.
A strong sense of oppression swept over as Xue Luhe bent down, drawing close and sucking the air out of the surroundings.
Lin Mo gripped the sheets tightly, scurrying backward as tears continued to fall.
“From now on, you are not allowed to leave this room. I will play along with this ‘act’ of yours. You’d better not slip up.”
Xue Luhe was so close that her eyelashes brushed against Lin Mo’s nose when she blinked. This position, which should have been intimate, made a chill run down Lin Mo’s spine.
“Behave yourself, and you might still have a chance at freedom, my dear… Lady Wife.”
Xue Luhe pressed her lips against Lin Mo’s ear. The heat of her breath burned her face. When she spoke that last sentence in her deep, beautiful voice, she couldn’t help but let out a couple of soft, mocking chuckles.
“Heh heh…”
The laughter carried a resonance from her chest, like waves surging from all directions into Lin Mo’s ears, making her heart pound nervously and pitifully.
This woman… as expected, besides being a perverted villain, she truly is a queen of charm who fascinates men and women globally… Lin Mo thought, her head spinning.
