The war between humanity and the Evil Gods lasted for tens of millions of years.
Ultimately, humans across all worlds abandoned their identities as men. They chose to be eroded by monsters, existing in a state of forced symbiosis.
In all of heaven and earth, Lin Yang remains the last true human. He is imprisoned in the Evil God’s private dungeon, guarded alongside plundered treasures.
The Evil God does not kill him, nor does he let him go.
The Evil God—a man of dark, brooding beauty—watches him for long periods. Within those eyes, shaped like frozen ice flowers, it is impossible to tell what he is thinking.
Then, after a certain day, the Evil God never appears again.
Soon after, twisted, crawling monsters kneel in a row before Lin Yang’s cell, begging him to save them.
It turns out the Evil God lost control and blew himself into countless fragments. These shards have surged into thousands of worlds; unable to withstand the Evil God’s violent rage, these worlds now face total destruction.
“You have fought the Evil God for ten million years; you are already close to godhood yourself. Only you can stop him!”
Lin Yang rested his chin on his hand and agreed with a beaming smile.
Killing the Evil God? Now that sounds like fun.
However, upon entering the sub-planes, Lin Yang exploded in a fit of rage: “What do you mean I have to ‘guide’ him, ‘reform’ him, and ‘love’ him?! Just looking at that face makes me want to retch!”
The little Feathered Serpent leading him through the timelines shivered, clutching its own tail: “The Great Evil God cannot be killed. Slaughter only increases his destructive power. Human books say that in this situation, one must use love to influence him…”
Lin Yang: “You want me to use sex appeal on my arch-nemesis? Haha, how interesting.” (He has descended into utter madness and incoherent rambling).
