The Innocent 'Green Tea' Alpha at Home is Actually My Boss - Chapter 2
Lu Lin was tall. At this moment, with his collar being yanked, he couldn’t bring himself to use force against Sang Weilian. He could only bow his head somewhat disheveledly to exchange a kiss with him.
Sang Weilian was kissing him.
Sang Weilian’s pheromones were out of control could he be in heat?
Lu Lin took a deep breath, enduring all his primitive physiological impulses, and was forced to raise his hand to stop the other man.
Sang Weilian seemed entirely unaware.
It wasn’t that he couldn’t feel the Alpha’s rejection. But for some reason, his brain which was a jumbled mess of mush could still distinguish that this Alpha definitely didn’t feel resistance or loathing toward him.
He didn’t retreat; instead, he relaxed completely.
The scent of wild roses filled the cramped space.
The Alpha’s breath hitched.
In an instant, the Alpha, who had just been helpless, effortlessly scooped him up with one arm and pinned him against the wall.
The positions of hunter and prey flipped instantly.
Sang Weilian’s right hand, which he had originally used to shackle the Alpha’s wrist, had been broken free and was now tightly interlocked with the Alpha’s fingers.
The Alpha kissed him deeply; several times, Sang Weilian felt as though he couldn’t catch his breath.
He felt the other’s scalding palm sliding steadily up his spine. The numbing sensation made it almost impossible for him to stand; in a few more seconds, it would touch his gland.
Sang Weilian’s self-protection instinct kicked in, and his gripped hand tightened.
The Alpha let out a short sigh and, with extreme restraint, avoided his swollen gland. He cradled the back of Sang Weilian’s head, his well-defined fingers tangling lingeringly with the dark blue curls, naturally slowing down the pace while simultaneously deepening the kiss.
Even though pheromones had no physical form, Sang Weilian felt as if a cold mountain spring was gently soaking into the dying wild roses inside his body, allowing every petal and leaf to glow with renewed life.
This Alpha was using his own pheromones to soothe him, and it was gradually working.
Sang Weilian slowly regained consciousness.
Reason returned amidst the indulgence.
His vision gradually cleared, his breathing leveled out, and he leaned against the wall for support, finally realizing the posture he was in.
He was suddenly startled. He shoved the Alpha away and yanked his hand out of the other’s grip.
What had he just done?!
Was he crazy?
He actually forcibly kissed an Alpha?
After waking up, the unbelievable truth hit Sang Weilian like a bolt from the blue.
To hide his embarrassment, he struck first: “Why would you, an Alpha, enter an Omega’s restroom?”
The Alpha before him was dressed understatedly in a gray hoodie and ordinary casual pants, but he had sword-like brows, hawk-like eyes, a tall bridge to his nose, and deep facial contours. His looks were absolutely enough to make all those Alphas who prided themselves on being top-tier specimens feel inferior.
Except those hawk-like eyes were no longer sharp; his gaze flickered slightly, a tiny trail of blood seeped from the corner of his lips, and his forehead was covered in sweat. The veins on the backs of his hands hanging by his sides were bulging, as if he were trying his utmost to suppress his clamoring pheromones.
Clearly an Alpha, yet Sang Weilian felt he was radiating a sense of aggrieved endurance after being forcibly kissed by an Omega.
Sang Weilian dazed for a moment before hardening his heart to speak sternly: “Don’t even think about it, you…”
“I’m sorry.” Three words interrupted the sarcasm Sang Weilian was about to spit out. The Alpha’s expression was sincere, his voice low, and even every strand of his hair seemed to droop along with his master’s emotions.
Sang Weilian was struck dumb. Now, it felt as though he was the one being aggressive.
The Alpha took a deep breath and continued, “I shouldn’t have taken advantage of your situation. Do you feel very uncomfortable?”
“I lost my mind a little just now. I shouldn’t have grabbed you so hard. Did I hurt you?”
“If it really won’t do, you can send me to the police station. I’ll go inside and cool down for a few days.”
As his voice fell, the Alpha’s chest heaved. His breathing was extremely heavy, especially when he smelled the wild rose fragrance permeating the air. His earlobes turned bright red, and he awkwardly held his breath.
Sang Weilian pursed his lips tightly, thinking: What the hell, it makes it seem like I’m the delinquent.
Unconsciously, his fury turned into a bit of sheepishness, and he gathered his pheromones in a display of “nothing to see here.”
For a while, neither of them spoke.
It was impossible for Sang Weilian to call the police. When the police arrived, was he supposed to say: Hello, I forcibly kissed an Alpha in the restroom?
Touching the other’s docile gaze, Sang Weilian reminded him: “Just act like it never happened.”
Clearly, he was the one “acting like a hooligan” and the one making a false accusation, yet this stranger Alpha had no complaints. He even showed a submissive smile: “I’ll do whatever you say. You’re so kind.”
In an instant, the Alpha’s breathing stabilized.
Sang Weilian was worried about being seen with a lone Alpha in a restroom. He didn’t notice the change in the man’s emotions at all and chased him out with a cold face: “You go out first.”
“Okay.” The Alpha was very obedient and left quietly.
Then, after Sang Weilian washed his face and walked out of the restroom, he saw the sign opposite him printed with the word “Omega.” Shocked, he looked back at the “Alpha” sign and realized that the person who had entered the wrong restroom was himself.
And that Alpha was already nowhere to be found.
When Wang Gu found Sang Weilian, he was standing at the restroom entrance in a daze. He asked worriedly, “Weilian, did anything happen?”
Sang Weilian took a deep breath, his expression calm: “Nothing.”
The tips of his ears were still tinged with red, his voice was slightly hoarse, and his mouth felt as if it still held the residue of mountain-spring-flavored pheromones. The hand pressed against his side felt a bit numb.
Wang Gu couldn’t smell pheromones, so he didn’t know that Sang Weilian, who usually kept his pheromones well-hidden, was currently radiating a faint scent of wild roses, mixed with a trace of an Alpha’s scent that didn’t belong to him.
He tactfully didn’t press further.
“Take me back.” Sang Weilian took a deep breath. He was truly a bit tired today.
Wang Gu thought about how Sang Weilian had just had a verbal spat with Fang Wenbin; it would probably be on the trending searches soon. It was better to go back and rest. So he nodded: “Alright.”
In the shadows, Lu Lin’s expression was calm and his eyes were bright. He watched with his own eyes as Sang Weilian left safely, ensuring no one else had entered or exited the restroom, before leaving a step behind.
The two of them took the elevator down to the underground parking lot one after the other. As soon as Wang Gu stepped out, he was bumped into and fell onto his backside. The person opposite him stood as steady as a mountain.
Wang Gu clutched his aching butt and looked over unhappily. He found the man wearing a black suit tall, sturdy, with a serious face and a notch in his right earlobe. He looked like someone not to be trifled with.
“Sorry.” The man apologized and reached out a hand.
Wang Gu didn’t dare take it; he propped himself up against the wall. He wondered which celebrity hired a bodyguard who looked so much like a mob boss.
This was an Alpha. Sang Weilian smelled his pheromones the pungent scent of white liquor. Usually, this was an irritating scent to his nerves, but the familiar sense of nausea didn’t appear, and the neural pain wasn’t as obvious.
Sang Weilian inexplicably recalled what happened in the restroom just now and quickly brushed past him.
Wan Tianhai was stunned. He noticed a very faint, cool fragrance on the man. Before he could capture it, that trace of cool fragrance dissipated into the air like a wisp of smoke.
Watching the two of them walk into the distance, Wan Tianhai stood still.
He felt as though this Omega had his boss’s pheromone scent on him.
“What are you looking at?” A deep, magnetic voice came it was Lu Lin.
Without waiting for an answer, Lu Lin followed his gaze and happened to see Sang Weilian’s thin, straight back as he got into the car in the distance.
Wan Tianhai noticed that Lu Lin’s eyes lit up instantly, like a docile reindeer returning from a successful hunt. A satisfied, ambiguous faint smile appeared on his face.
He also noticed that at the corner of Lu Lin’s lip, there seemed to be a tiny wound that wasn’t there before entering the building?
Docile?
Reindeer?
Smiling?
Wan Tianhai thought he was going crazy. He hesitated for a moment and said respectfully, “Boss, I was just about to look for you. Your father just called.”
In the distance, the car drove away.
Lu Lin immediately retracted his gaze. His dark eyes were rippleless as he waited calmly for the next sentence.
Wan Tianhai breathed a sigh of relief: It really was a hallucination.
He reported clearly: “There is an offline event for Siny headphones this Wednesday afternoon; he hopes you can attend to observe. Additionally, General Manager Wu Liao has resigned. You can take office formally at any time. You need to inform your father before convening the shareholders’ meeting.”
Siny headphones?
Lu Lin’s walking rhythm faltered for a second. That was the product Sang Weilian endorsed.
“I will attend the offline event. Let’s wait a bit on taking office; don’t make my identity public for now,” Lu Lin ordered, steadying his mind.
“Understood.”
In just two days, Sang Weilian rested extremely well. Not only did he not suffer from insomnia, but he also wasn’t bothered by the negative effects of Pheromone Disorder.
Originally, he didn’t believe that Alpha would keep the secret. He was prepared to wake up to headlines like “Sang Weilian Forcibly Kisses Alpha” and face a barrage of phone calls. Instead, aside from Fang Wenbin and his army of water soldiers cursing him for being arrogant, everything was peaceful.
Sang Weilian had to admit that the Alpha’s pheromones were very effective for his disorder.
But he wasn’t naive enough to think the other person was truly just being kindhearted with no ulterior motives. After all, being misunderstood and blamed without defending oneself was already very suspicious.
“Teacher Sang, the event is about to start.” A knock on the door interrupted Sang Weilian’s thoughts.
“Okay.” Sang Weilian stood up, habitually took a dose of suppressant, and walked out of the lounge.
Today was a store promotion. Siny’s largest store was located in the commercial center of Hai City, and fans had packed the massive seven-story mall to the point where not even water could trickle through.
When Lu Lin arrived, Sang Weilian was playing games with the fans.
He didn’t let Wan Tianhai follow him. Alone, wearing a mask, he stood at the outermost edge of the crowd on the first floor, using his height advantage to seriously watch Sang Weilian in the center.
For today’s promotion, Sang Weilian had dyed his shoulder-length curls silver, leaving a few strands of black. He used an “X” shaped hairpin to pin the hair on one side behind his ear, and a black stud was in his earlobe. Below his right eye was a crystal sequin. When he smiled faintly, his thin lips pursed slightly, giving him an ethereal and refined aura.
Ultimately, an Alpha college student won the game and earned the chance to take a photo with Sang Weilian.
Sang Weilian walked over to the fan with a smile. After the photo and a few more words, today’s event would end without any trouble from his Pheromone Disorder.
Everything was going smoothly until the Alpha standing right next to him suddenly released a very intense surge of pheromones.
Instantly, Sang Weilian, who was hyper-sensitive to pheromones, discovered the suppressants had failed. His gland throbbed with pain; nausea and neural pain swept over him. It felt as if someone was hitting his fragile stomach and nerves repeatedly with a hammer, causing cold sweat to break out on his forehead.
Looking up and meeting the madness in the other’s eyes, Sang Weilian realized this Alpha was doing it on purpose.
So disgusting, so disgusting, so disgusting!
Fury burned in his chest. Without thinking, Sang Weilian violently pushed away the Alpha who was reaching out to him.
With a loud crash, the Alpha was caught off guard and slammed into a nearby display rack. Headphone models scattered all over the floor, and the scene descended into chaos.
“What’s going on?”
“Holy crap, is that Alpha in his rut?”
“Does anyone have suppressants?”
The chaotic noise sounded like the roar of a machine, making Sang Weilian’s head spin. The mixed pheromones in the air became increasingly clear and nauseating, and his body temperature was steadily rising.
Wang Gu rushed onto the stage: “Weilian? Weilian, how are you?”
Sang Weilian felt burning hot all over, his legs going weak. Whether it was the friction of his clothes or Wang Gu’s touch, everything made him incredibly uncomfortable.
He had a premonition this was different from his usual disorder.
His heat was coming.
Sang Weilian’s strong pride roared. He didn’t want to expose his undignified state in front of everyone. While desperately fighting the boiling pheromones inside him, he walked toward the backstage with a cold face without looking back.
In the foul-smelling air, a trace of faint, cold mountain spring fragrance emerged.
Sang Weilian looked up and met the gaze of Lu Lin, who was standing at the corner of the hallway, his eyes filled with worry and hesitation.
The coolness eased the intense pain.
But it was far from enough.
Sang Weilian looked at him with blurred eyes, thinking: What a coincidence, meeting again.
He needed this Alpha’s pheromones. This Alpha’s presence here was definitely not an accident.
The two thoughts tangled together. Sang Weilian took several strides forward, pinning Lu Lin into a deserted and dark corner. With the corners of his eyes flushed red from the heat, he smiled: “Waiting for me?”
Lu Lin pursed his lips tightly. His deep eyes held the panic and nervousness of being seen through.
Sang Weilian grabbed the hand Lu Lin had half-raised in the air and pressed it against his own swollen gland.
The cold, numbing sensation made his waist go soft instantly. He tilted his head back slightly, his hot breath fanning across Lu Lin’s Adam’s apple.
The Alpha’s throat bobbed; his whole body went stiff.
Sang Weilian was very satisfied with his reaction. He commanded breathlessly: “I’ll give you a chance. Take a bite.”
Lu Lin rasped out an “Okay.” Trembling, he pulled Sang Weilian into his arms and bit down on the gland that was radiating an intense scent of wild roses.
In the darkness, no one would notice that Lu Lin’s eyes flashed with a bright light the light of a successful predator.
