After enduring a tragic life of mistaken identity and unrequited love, Lu Chizao discovers upon her death that she had been living within a novel, and she was merely a supporting character subject to the author’s ruthless whims.
To maintain the stability of the web-based publishing platform, the System tasks Lu Chizao with reliving her life, guiding the female protagonist’s growth, and ensuring a happy ending with the true heiress—the destined partner from the original story.

So, to increase the protagonist’s growth points, Lu Chizao plays the villain to the end, tormenting her for the sake of the mission, letting life beat her down.
The most absurd part is when she deliberately gets close to the protagonist’s Alpha sister—Lin Tingci, to deliver a massive betrayal from a trusted confidante.
She originally believed that completing the mission would allow her to retire in triumph, pocketing the System’s rewards and leveraging its provided resources to smoothly navigate the entertainment industry, reaping both fame and fortune.
But she never imagined that she would provoke such a fierce wolf…
Later, at the banquet celebrating Lu Chizao’s formal annulment of her engagement, Lin Tingci sat beside her, took her hand, and announced another piece of news.

[Short Scene]:
In a popular lifestyle show, staff members interviewed top celebrities about the first thing they do after waking up.
They knocked on Lu Chizao’s door, but the one who answered was Lin Tingci, the film director from the neighboring studio.
Facing the camera, Lin Tingci replied calmly, “She’s washing up.”
An Alpha appearing in an Omega’s room early in the morning… it couldn’t possibly be for breakfast, could it?
The interviewer, both surprised and nosy, pressed on before Lu Chizao emerged.
Lin Tingci responded, “If I’m here, the first thing Little Chi-jiejie will do when she wakes up is throw a tantrum.”
Despite the teasing tone, the smile on her lips blinded all the single dogs watching.
This segment was cut from the final edit, but when the show aired, both Lu Chizao and the hashtag trended explosively.
