The Eldest Lady always wants to have a double O Relationship with her old enemy - Chapter 9

Tang Yanzhao wakes up to a dizzying haze, feeling unwell. She realizes she’s in the same room as Shen Jianxi, who is innocently changing her clothes. Tang Yanzhao turns away, feeling guilty, and tries to rest. She drifts off to sleep, but not before she feels Shen Jianxi gently tracing her face, and then lying beside her.

Shen Jianxi, who was worried when Tang Yanzhao didn’t answer her phone, climbed in through the balcony to check on her. She finds Tang Yanzhao feverish and in distress. She lies down next to her to comfort her.

Tang Yanzhao wakes up later to find herself being held by Shen Jianxi, who is still sleeping. She’s surprised but remembers that Shen Jianxi likely saved her. Shen Jianxi wakes up briefly, asking Tang Yanzhao to stay in bed. Tang Yanzhao notices that Shen Jianxi seems to be in pain, but she dismisses it.

After they both calm down, Shen Jianxi gets up, and Tang Yanzhao notices bruises on her knees. Shen Jianxi explains she hurt herself climbing the balcony to get to her. Tang Yanzhao is furious at her reckless behavior but can’t stay angry because Shen Jianxi did it out of concern for her. She gently treats Shen Jianxi’s wounds, while Shen Jianxi teases her, claiming she saw Tang Yanzhao smile. Tang Yanzhao denies it, and the chapter ends with Shen Jianxi noticing a document on Tang Yanzhao’s desk labeled “letter of apology.”
