- Chapter 4 - Good Girl: Does Sister Have a Girlfriend? (4)
Cold water splashed over her body, sending a shiver through Lu Huan. Fortunately, it was summer, so taking a cold shower wasn’t too bad.
But with such a tempting beauty right in front of her, this woman could still hold back either she was straight or frigid.
Lu Huan wrapped her arms around herself, letting the cold water from the showerhead pour over her. Her head hung low, making her look utterly pitiful.
Anyone who saw her would feel their heart ache, and Lou Qing was no exception. But she wasn’t the type to take advantage of someone in a vulnerable state otherwise, what difference would there be between her and that scumbag An Ke?
“How are you feeling?” Lou Qing didn’t dare look directly at the girl, keeping her gaze mostly fixed on the nearby shelf.
The girl was completely drenched, her white dress clinging to her body and outlining her delicate, alluring figure. Anyone who saw her would struggle to resist.
“Cold.” Lu Huan’s voice trembled slightly. Her eyes kept studying the woman, doubting whether she was even capable. She had practically offered herself up, yet this woman could still hold back?
Hearing this, Lou Qing turned off the shower, grabbed a nearby towel, unfolded it and averting her gaze wrapped it around the girl using her peripheral vision. “I’ll go get you some clothes.”
As soon as she finished speaking and was about to leave, she was embraced from behind. A soft body pressed against her back, and for a moment, Lou Qing almost lost control. Closing her eyes, she suppressed the restlessness inside and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Hot,” Lu Huan said pitifully.
Lou Qing wanted to turn around, but the girl held her too tightly. She coaxed gently, “Be good, I’ll rinse you with cold water again.”
Lu Huan was displeased and inwardly grumbled that the woman really didn’t seem interested in her. She decided not to push further and let go, standing there obediently.
Lou Qing didn’t overthink it and continued to spray her with the showerhead.
The girl kept her head lowered the entire time. At first, Lou Qing didn’t think much of it, but after five minutes of rinsing, the girl remained motionless. Frowning, she asked, “How do you feel now?”
Lu Huan didn’t respond.
Hesitating, Lou Qing shifted her gaze from the shelf to the girl. Not daring to look too closely, she bent slightly to see the girl’s expression from below. When she noticed the girl biting her lower lip tightly, tears streaming continuously from her eyes, her hand holding the showerhead paused. Stunned, she murmured, “You!”
“Sister, I want to go back.” Lu Huan turned sideways, her back facing Lou Qing. Her expression seemed to carry a hint of humiliation, but when Lou Qing looked more closely, she saw nothing and assumed she had imagined it.
She found a set of clothes for the girl and handed them to her, saying, “Change into these, and I’ll take you back.”
Once the bathroom door closed, Lu Huan wiped the tears from her face, pouted, and muttered under her breath, “This sister must be incapable.” She had been so taken with her at first sight and had hoped she could help extinguish the fire inside her. Yet, despite her own initiative, the other had only used cold water.
“Hmph, there are plenty of sisters out there. If you can’t do it, I’ll find someone else.” Lu Huan spoke in frustration, changed into the clothes she was given, bundled up her wet ones, and carried them out.
Waves of heat still surged through her body, but it was more bearable than before she could endure it for now.
Outside, Lou Qing had been speaking with Xiao Mu at the door. Hearing movement from inside, she ended the conversation, turned around, and asked, “Are you ready?”
The girl was a head shorter than her, her clothes hanging loose and oversized on her frame, like a child who had raided an adult’s wardrobe.
Watching her own clothes envelop the girl, Lou Qing’s throat bobbed slightly as a sudden thirst gripped her.
“Do you have a bag?” Lu Huan clutched the damp clothes in her arms, looking somewhat flustered. “I need to pack these.”
“Just a moment.” Lou Qing glanced at the clothes in her arms and fetched a clean plastic bag from the nearby cabinet.
“Thank you.” After packing the clothes and stuffing them into her backpack, Lu Huan hugged the bag tightly and looked up at her.
Her eyes were rimmed red, the tip of her nose flushed clear signs she had been crying. Standing there obediently with her backpack, she looked like someone just begging to be teased.
Lou Qing unconsciously tugged at her collar, feeling as though it were strangling her today.
Lu Huan’s phone had run out of battery and had been left in her backpack, untouched. So, when Jiang Wenshu called over a dozen times, none of the calls went through, infuriating her to the point of nearly smashing her phone. “Damn it!”
Ever since the two of them had gotten together, Lu Huan had always responded to her calls and messages. This was the first time she hadn’t answered, and after more than ten attempts, there was still no response.
Remembering An Ke’s words, Jiang Wenshu gritted her teeth in frustration. She kicked a nearby stone, sending it skittering far down the road before it came to a stop. Just as she was about to look away, she spotted a familiar figure the very person she had been desperately trying to find.
“Lu—” She started to call out but then noticed someone else standing beside her. Her eyelid twitched.
Your girlfriend’s mistress.
An Ke’s words flashed through her mind instantly. Her expression darkened as she strode over.
Lu Huan had spotted Jiang Wenshu from a distance but pretended not to see her. Even as Jiang Wenshu approached, she kept her head lowered, lips pressed tightly together, silent and expressionless.
“Lu Huan.” Jiang Wenshu ground her teeth, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “You’re something else.” She then turned her gaze to Lou Qing. The woman was taller than her, her face radiating a mature beauty that made Jiang Wenshu feel like a childish, ridiculous kid. For a moment, she even felt a twinge of inferiority.
But that feeling vanished quickly. After all, this woman had stolen her girlfriend. Instantly, her confidence returned, and she sneered, “You actually went and found some old woman to cheat on me with? How fucking pathetic are you?”
Lou Qing’s expression turned icy, her fists clenching.

Lu Huan felt like vomiting inside. Jiang Wenshu, this straight girl, was acting as if she were some deeply devoted lover. Had she deluded herself into being moved by her own fake, showy emotions?
On the surface, however, Lu Huan paled, looking at her in disbelief as if she couldn’t believe such words had come from her.
Jiang Wenshu, recalling how harsh her words had been, felt a flicker of regret. In their year together, she had never spoken so cruelly. But seeing the woman beside Lu Huan, that regret evaporated.
“Auntie, are you trying to rob the cradle, or do you just want to be the other woman?” Unable to direct her anger at Lu Huan, Jiang Wenshu shifted her target to Lou Qing. “Lu Huan is my girlfriend. What do you think you’re doing, butting in?”
Lou Qing was 28 years old. She had only ever been called “Auntie” by little kids. This was the first time a college student had addressed her that way.
Many people pursued her, and quite a few were outstanding and attractive. This was the first time she had ever been called a homewrecker. She was so angry she laughed, her expression cold as she said, “Being your girlfriend must be the worst luck in eight lifetimes.”
“Damn it, what did you say!” Jiang Wenshu stepped forward and grabbed her collar, but since the other woman was taller, her attempt at intimidation fell flat. She even had to tilt her head back to look at her, making her appear significantly less threatening.
Lou Qing glanced down at her, enunciating each word clearly, “I said, Lu Huan being your girlfriend is the worst luck in eight lifetimes.”
Jiang Wenshu had only made Lu Huan her girlfriend to satisfy her own vanity, and she had used underhanded methods to achieve it. These words felt like they were stripping away her hypocritical facade, and her aggressive stance wavered slightly.
But she quickly hardened her expression again, curling her lip, “Are you trying to drive a wedge between us?”
Lou Qing looked at her as if she were an idiot.
That look provoked Jiang Wenshu, who gritted her teeth and said, “Auntie, no matter what you say, she’s not someone you should be coveting.”
Lou Qing’s expression remained calm, unprovoked by her words. She looked directly at her, her tone indifferent, “Do you know that your friend drugged your girlfriend?”
“What?” Jiang Wenshu froze, then turned to look at Lu Huan behind her. Only then did she notice that Lu Huan was wearing different clothes from what she had on when they went to the bar. Frowning, she turned back to Lou Qing, “What do you mean?”
“Ask your girlfriend yourself,” Lou Qing said, then turned to Lu Huan. “Kid, don’t go to bars next time. Study hard and make progress every day.” With that, she turned and walked away.
Lu Huan’s lips twitched almost imperceptibly.
Jiang Wenshu, however, wore a strange expression after hearing those words and turned to look at Lu Huan.
As she looked over, Lu Huan resumed her well-behaved student demeanor, though her face showed no particular emotion, no grievance, no anger.
Jiang Wenshu had a feeling the woman had been lying to her, but Lu Huan’s expression didn’t seem fake.
Hesitating for a moment, she said, “An Ke said you were kissing another woman in the bathroom.”
Lu Huan looked at her, “Let’s break up.”
“Huh?” The topic shifted so abruptly that Jiang Wenshu was momentarily stunned.
Lu Huan raised her head to look at her, “We agreed from the start that we were just trying it out.”
Jiang Wenshu: “Damn.” She narrowed her eyes and glanced in the direction where the woman had left. “It’s because of that old woman just now.” Though phrased as a question, she said it with certainty.
Whether it was or not, I don’t want you, you scumbag, Lu Huan thought to herself, but her expression remained serious. “Do you know why I left with her?”
“Why?” Jiang Wenshu reflexively asked.
Lu Huan: “Your friend drugged me and tried to sexually assault me.”
Jiang Wenshu opened her mouth to refute it, but then it occurred to her that Lu Huan, as a good student, wouldn’t lie to her. For a moment, her mind went blank.
Lu Huan didn’t want to say anything more. Lowering her gaze, she said, “I’m going back to the dorm.” With that, she turned and walked away.
Jiang Wenshu stood in place for a long time, unmoving.
