Chapter 3: Finished Touching
Dark clouds covered Yin Heng’s deviant face, but before he could lose his temper, his hem was lightly tugged. Soft fingers brushed past his wrist seemingly by accident, and a low voice spoke.
“I’m a boy, not a girl.”
Yu He seemed very angry and tried to break away from Yin Heng’s grip.
Yin Heng pulled him even tighter. Yu He grew angrier, his full lips pouting in frustration: “Is this how you pursue people? You’re hurting me.”
The face so close to his was fragile and bright. Because of his displeasure, his brow was slightly furrowed, his exquisite nose crinkled, and his thick eyelashes trembled repeatedly. This kind of “fury” lacked any deterrent power; instead, it made one’s mind wander even more.
The moment he heard Yu He cry out in pain, Yin Heng quickly let go, pulled Yu He onto his lap, and hugged his waist.
“Then let me pursue you, okay?”
Face like cream, lips like red plums, hair like black ink. The side profile reduced his vividness slightly, adding a touch of obedience.
Yin Heng said many sweet things that he wouldn’t hurt him again, wouldn’t let him go hungry, and certainly wouldn’t let others bully him.
“Then you have to pursue me properly,” Yu He said reluctantly after a long while. He lowered his eyes and turned his head away, revealing a slender, pale neck. “This is the first time I’ve been pursued.”
Yin Heng’s pupils shrank suddenly.
In Yin Heng’s eyes, this scene was a picture of shy embarrassment. Yu He’s skin was naturally white, and now it was tinged with pink, like red plums blooming in the snow.
He was the first person to pursue Yu He?
Yin Heng panicked inexplicably: “Then… then I’ll pursue you properly.”
He had indeed been reckless just now, trying to win Yu He over with a bit of food in such a shabby environment.
He was so bad.
Yu He was so beautiful; if he was willing to be with him, Yin Heng should pursue him grandly and magnificently to leave Yu He with beautiful memories.
Yu He breathed a sigh of relief.
1024: Really?
Looking at that face, it didn’t seem likely.
Yu He said triumphantly: “Of course it’s fake. My acting is good, right? That scared me to death; I thought I wouldn’t be able to fool him.”
1024: …You’re actually quite smart.
When first bound to Yu He, the boy was dazed and timid, ignoring tasks to focus on finding food. In 1024’s mind, he was definitely the “not-so-bright” type.
But he wasn’t as dumb as imagined.
Men are always obsessed with “firsts” first kiss, first love. No matter what it is, as long as it’s a first, it’s coated in a sacred light in their hearts. It’s a foolish and ignorant way of judging things.
Hearing that he held a certain “first” for Yu He made Yin Heng so excited he lost his sense of direction; his brain stopped working.
He didn’t even stop to think with a face like Yu He’s, how could no one have pursued him before?
Stupid man.
Yu He and Yin Heng reached an agreement: he couldn’t touch him whenever he wanted, and he couldn’t call him names recklessly. They were now in a relationship of “pursuer and pursued.”
With those beautiful, misty eyes looking at him, how could Yin Heng dare to do anything but nod in agreement?
When the group of underlings found out, they thought the two were playing some roleplay. They called him “Sister-in-law” one after another, each more enthusiastic than the last.
Yu He’s brow furrowed slightly, and Yin Heng immediately began scolding them: “Stop shouting! I’m pursuing him. If you mess this up for me, I’ll kill you.”
They were stunned. He’s actually doing the pursuit thing? This wasn’t Yin Heng’s style at all.
Given Yin Heng’s wild nature, it wouldn’t be surprising if he just forced Yu He into a “home run.” Why was he acting like a pure-hearted schoolboy?
The players were also puzzled. They knew better than anyone how bad Yin Heng’s temper was. What kind of methods did this newcomer Yu He use to wrap Yin Heng around his finger?
“This newcomer is interesting. He knows how to use his advantages,” a slick voice said.
Xia Huanye possessed a pair of affectionate peach-blossom eyes. He was tall with superior proportions, and a smile always lingered at the corners of his mouth. His handsome features outlined a roguish temperament; he was a rare high-level player who had both strength and looks.
Ling Lan watched from not far away, his deep, sea-like pupils full of contemplation.
“Lu Yang,” Yin Heng called out coldly from ahead.
A clear-faced youth was pushed forward, standing shiveringly before Yin Heng. They remembered this person he was the one who had arranged the bullying of Yu He and cheered the loudest.
The scene of bullying Yu He on the rooftop seemed to repeat itself, but now, the bully had become Yu He.
Since Yu He had been bullied in public, Yin Heng wanted Yu He to bully them back. In his world, an eye for an eye was only natural.
“What will he do?”
The players were curious. What would a newcomer player favored by a key NPC do?
Would he be arrogant because of the favor?
To their disappointment, Yu He didn’t look proud; instead, his small face turned pale. Yin Heng told him that if he didn’t do it, Yin Heng would do it himself.
Yu He had seen Yin Heng hit people; after one kick, the victim couldn’t get up for a long time, only rolling on the ground clutching their stomach.
Lu Yang was also afraid of being hit by Yin Heng. Since he was going to be hit anyway, he’d rather be hit by Yu He. Yu He looked weak; being hit a few times wouldn’t hurt much.
As that vivid face gradually approached him, Lu Yang stared at him blankly, suddenly forgetting that he was supposed to be receiving a punishment.
The hand pressed against his cheek was soft, as if it had no bones. A faint fragrance drifted into his nose, and a jolt of electricity seemed to run through his entire body.
“Okay, finished.”
A casual stroke of the cheek that was the “bullying”? Yin Heng frowned: “You can’t bear to do it. Let me.”
This scared Lu Yang half to death. In a panic, he grabbed Yu He’s wrist and forced Yu He’s hand to slap his own face.
It started as fear, but within two seconds, Lu Yang lost his head.
Yu He’s hand is way too soft, isn’t it?
Moreover, he was very white. Even after just a few light touches, mottled red marks appeared on his skin, making him look like a pitiful victim who had been severely bullied.
Lu Yang felt a rush of blood to his head. His throat moved as he continued to hold Yu He’s hand, refusing to let go, controlling the force to slap himself.
The scene was both absurd and comical.
Yu He’s slender white hand trembled in mid-air. His lotus-root-like wrist was gripped by darker-toned fingers and forced against another person’s face. At first glance, it looked like he was caressing the cheek.
Especially Lu Yang what should have been a shameful humiliation resulted in a joyful expression and glowing eyes.
Everyone present was dazed.
Yu He was very pale; even under the sun, his skin was snowy. Currently, with his face flushed and his forced appearance, he looked both pitiful and aggrieved.
He turned his head, his urgent gaze sweeping over the crowd with a plea for help, his eyes glistening with sorrowful moisture.
Clearly, it was Yu He “bullying” Lu Yang, but now it looked as if he was the one being bullied miserably.
Before, they prayed to the gods that Yin Heng wouldn’t pick on them. Now, they were desperate for Yin Heng to find trouble with them.
They were jealous, dying of jealousy, wishing they were the ones being hit right now.
What kind of execution platform is this? This is fucking paradise.
Those swept by that gaze included not just the NPCs, but the players as well.
Xia Huanye, who had been teasing Yu He just a moment ago, unconsciously swallowed several times.
…He suddenly understood why Yin Heng could be tamed.
With a face like Yu He’s, he didn’t have to do anything; plenty of people would be willing to go through fire and water for him. Yin Heng, a high schooler who hadn’t even fully matured, naturally couldn’t resist such temptation.
It took a while for Yin Heng to snap out of it. He kicked Lu Yang away. Lu Yang didn’t even care about the pain, sniffing the lingering fragrance on his palm like a madman.
Yin Heng grew even angrier. He cursed under his breath, took out a disinfectant wipe to clean Yu He’s hand, and then scanned the crowd warningly to declare his sovereignty.
Yu He was angry and refused to acknowledge Yin Heng. Yin Heng tried to coax him for a long time but failed.
This matter was indeed Yin Heng’s fault. Initially, he wanted Yu He to take revenge personally, but he hadn’t expected to give that kid Lu Yang a bargain.
While racking his brain for ways to make it up to him, it was time for Yin Heng to go to class. The appearance time of system NPCs seemed to have limits; when he stayed in one location for too long, mandatory arrangements would occur.
After Yin Heng left, many people were looking at Yu He. He had just made a fool of himself in front of so many people; he must look very stupid.
Yu He didn’t know what to do now. The system had reminded him that he couldn’t stay in the same place for too long without doing anything, or he would be warned for “passive gameplay.”
A tall, tanned athlete said Yin Heng was looking for him. During this, the athlete’s eyes never left him.
Yu He felt a bit uncomfortable being watched. Just as he stood up, the athlete said, “I’ll take you there.”
Passing through a pebble path flanked by lush green vegetation, the further they walked, the more sparse the people became. Only the occasional sound of the wind and their abrupt footsteps remained in the air.
Yu He belatedly felt that something was strange.
Yin Heng just disappeared; would he send someone to call for him so soon?
“Is he a liar?”
1024: I don’t know, but he is indeed one of Yin Heng’s underlings.
Seeing his pace slow down, the athlete wasn’t in a hurry. Instead, he slowed down with him, occasionally admiring the natural scenery on both sides, walking leisurely like a predator playing with prey already in its mouth.
Suddenly, the athlete asked him, “Do we look like we’re on a date?”
“Huh?” Yu He stammered, “No… not really.”
The athlete gave him a thin smile. He was handsome enough, but a dark shadow flowed in his eyes, making one feel strangely uneasy.
If he wasn’t sure before, Yu He was now 100% certain the athlete was lying.
But Yu He didn’t dare resist, much less run away. The other person was far superior to him in both size and stamina; he was afraid of provoking him.
His steps grew slower and slower, but the man beside him didn’t mind, matching his glacial pace. It was precisely this slow rate that stretched the atmosphere even tighter.
A strange man appeared ahead. Yu He remembered him they had shared a brief glance in the crowd earlier. The way the man looked at him was odd not exactly disgust, but more like a kind of contempt.
Like the contempt someone who dislikes pets feels when seeing a cat or a dog.
What should I do…
If he passed this person, would he meet anyone else?
Yu He’s luck had always been bad. He thought he probably wouldn’t meet anyone else.
Xia Huanye wasn’t surprised to see Yu He with another man. This man’s appearance didn’t lose to Yin Heng’s, and his aura was more restrained one of the underlings around Yin Heng.
He was just curious: how many men did Yu He need to hook? Could one Yin Heng not protect him?
What Xia Huanye was even more curious about was what kind of methods Yu He used to make this man willing to take such a big risk.
They walked extremely slowly, as if enjoying a flirtatious date.
When passing Xia Huanye, a soft sensation spun in his palm. As if feeling that this touch wasn’t enough, before parting, Yu He even hooked Xia Huanye’s finger with his fingertip.
A sudden surge of electricity surged through his entire body. The temperature in his palm rose, and his breathing became a bit heavier.
Xia Huanye felt both the absurdity of it and the urge to laugh.
So this is Yu He’s method?
Truly clumsy.
But very effective.
“What are you two doing?” Xia Huanye called out to them.
Yu He hurriedly chimed in: “He said Yin Heng is looking for me.”
Xia Huanye smiled without reaching his eyes: “Yin Heng just left. Why would he call for you? It just so happens I’m on good terms with him; how about I ask for you?”
The athlete didn’t speak. After a brief eye contact, he said, “Maybe I got it wrong.”
“Since it’s a mistake, let’s disperse. Yin Heng doesn’t like you guys playing these little tricks.” Although Xia Huanye was smiling, his eyes were icy and aggressive.
The athlete glanced at Yu He and walked away to the left.
Yu He breathed a sigh of relief and wanted to leave as well, but his wrist was unexpectedly grabbed and pulled forward.
Just like how Yu He had touched Xia Huanye’s palm, Xia Huanye was now using a slow, probing motion to entangle his own palm with Yu He’s.
But Yu He’s skin was thin and sensitive. After just two touches, his fingertips trembled, a faint pink flushed his face, and his eyes became misty hazy and suggestive.
“You want to leave after you’re finished touching?”
Xia Huanye pulled him closer until they were almost pressed together.
Xia Huanye continued to toy with his fingers until the knuckles turned a vivid red, then he let out a soft chuckle.
“I’m not that kind of easy man.”
