The Cold Sister Is Too Flirtatious - Chapter 19
“Hahahaha!” The Green-Haired Man’s tension eased. The earlier murderous intent must have been his imagination. These two were complete fools. “Spiritual energy? Little sister, you’ve been reading too many cultivation novels. But perfect! One person wasn’t enough for us to have fun with anyway.”
A seasoned offender, the Green-Haired Man had already smashed the alley’s security cameras. He eagerly stepped forward.
Sect Leader Leng tilted her head slightly, a rare expression of animal-like confusion crossing her face. “Still no spiritual energy? But there’s no one around now.”
As if these beasts could be considered people.
“No. The rules here are different. Killing someone results in severe punishment. Or worse, you might be captured by those twisted scientists at the institute and dissected to study your body. I’d never see you again.”
Lin Tingxue didn’t think she couldn’t defeat the “evil scientist” the little rabbit had mentioned, but she focused on the latter half of the rabbit’s words: “can’t see.” She wanted to keep her eyes on the little rabbit, so she obediently withdrew the spiritual energy she had been gathering.
The Green-Haired Man continued to spout nonsense, oblivious to his impending doom: “You bitch! I thought you had some trick up your sleeve with all this posturing. Turns out you’re just a paper tiger!”
Lin Tingxue asked earnestly, seeking Leng Yao’s approval: “Leng Yao, you said we can’t kill anyone. But crippling them—is that okay?”
Leng Yao nodded vigorously. Kidnapping my older sister? Cripple him!
“Yes, Older Sister! Just make sure to hit the right spots.”
“Alright.”
Leng Yao stepped back, giving Lin Tingxue room to move.
“What’s this, bitch? Trying to take on seven of us alone? Oh, I’m so scared!” The Green-Haired Man dragged several trash cans from the alley entrance and blocked the way. “Now, you can’t escape even if you wanted to.”
“That’s right,” Lin Tingxue said slowly, removing her coat. “Now, you can’t escape even if you wanted to.”
The foremost cultivator in the Cultivation World—even without using spiritual energy, this title wasn’t just for show.
The Green-Haired Man blinked once and found Lin Tingxue already at his side. She suddenly unleashed a flurry of punches, her fists leaving afterimages in the air as they landed with brutal force, each blow turning the Green-Haired Man into a bloody mess.
Double vision swam before the Green-Haired Man’s eyes. He spat out half a broken tooth, his face contorted in a wail. “What are you all standing around for? Get her! Beat this bitch to death!”
Leng Yao clutched Lin Tingxue’s jacket, cheering loudly, “Go, Older Sister! You’re so cool! Tsk, tsk, knock out three more teeth!”
Seven men surrounded Lin Tingxue from all sides, some aiming to restrain her legs, others her waist. But Lin Tingxue wasn’t about to give them the chance. She kicked off the wall, braced her hands against it, and launched herself into the air.
From above, she unleashed a flying kick, her foot slamming into the chests of several men. In a single strike, she sent the burly thugs sprawling backward, blood gushing from their mouths.
Realizing they’d met their match, the men scrambled to escape, only to find their path blocked by several foul-smelling trash bins.
It was then that despair truly set in. This woman’s martial arts were formidable. They began begging for mercy, “Sis, no, no, no! Heroine, spare us!”
Lin Tingxue glared at the thugs groveling on the ground, crying and wetting themselves. “Pathetic.”
She’d never faced such cowardly opponents before, but the little rabbit’s request hadn’t been fulfilled yet.
“Slap each other until three teeth are knocked out. Otherwise, I’ll do it myself.”
Daring not provoke Lin Tingxue further, the men nodded frantically, terrified that any hesitation would earn them her personal attention.
The narrow alley echoed with the rhythmic slapping sounds, each strike louder than the last.
Leng Yao watched with amusement. “That sounds awful. Put some rhythm into it!”
With Lin Tingxue as their formidable backer, the thugs didn’t dare provoke this young mistress. Surprisingly, they had a decent sense of rhythm, actually managing to beatbox a passable tune by slapping their cheeks.
Wee-oo, wee-oo…
The police siren, usually their greatest fear, now sounded like heavenly music to the thugs’ ears. “Officers, we’re here! Please save us!”
“Continue,” Lin Tingxue said coldly. “Before they arrive, I have plenty of time to finish what I started.”
What a terrifying woman!
The thugs trembled, utterly convinced by Lin Tingxue’s words. The Green-Haired Man, who hadn’t managed to knock out his three teeth in time, rushed to the burliest thug. “If you’re a real brother, slap me.”
The burly thug hesitated. If he did this, would he still be able to hang around with the gang?
Left with no choice, the Green-Haired Man began slapping himself. His cheeks puffed up, and for the first time, he cursed his strong teeth.
I can’t knock them out! I just can’t!
As the siren grew louder, the Green-Haired Man was suddenly sent flying, crashing into the wall with a sickening crack. He spat out five teeth.
Lin Tingxue glanced down at him, her eyes filled with contempt. “I told you, don’t make me do it myself.”
“Freeze! Students, are you alright?”
Several officers kicked aside a trash can and pinned the thugs against the wall, preventing them from further harming the two frail-looking female students.
The Green-Haired Man breathed a sigh of relief. With the police here, this terrifying woman wouldn’t dare continue.
Leng Yao hid in Lin Tingxue’s arms, tears welling in her eyes. “Officer, I called the police. They were trying to force me and my older sister.”
Though tears glistened in her eyes, Leng Yao’s voice turned icy as she spoke the second half of her statement, a stark contrast to her usual demeanor. “I suspect many innocent girls have fallen victim to their cruelty.”
The veteran officer kicked the Green-Haired Man again. “You worthless scum! Your parents wasted their efforts raising you!”
He turned to comfort Leng Yao and Lin Tingxue. “Don’t worry, we’re here now. He won’t hurt you.”
The Green-Haired Man wailed, “Officer, she was the one beating us up! You have to help us! Look at our injuries!”
The thugs were forced to turn around, revealing large, red handprints on their faces. The officer found it odd that the gang members had been fighting each other, but he suspected they had clashed over the two innocent female students, fueling his anger.
“Who do you think you’re fooling with this nonsense? Seven men against two girls? You’re clearly unrepentant. I’ll make sure you rot in jail for a few more years!”
Leng Yao wiped away her tears. “Officer, he’s twisting the truth. You can check the surveillance footage to confirm.”
That’s right! The surveillance footage!
The Green-Haired Man’s face lit up with hope, only to meet Leng Yao’s smile—a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. Hidden in Lin Tingxue’s embrace, unnoticed by the others, she mouthed silently to the Green-Haired Man:
“Idiot, look closely.”
The Green-Haired Man looked up. Every surveillance camera was shattered—his own handiwork.
He collapsed to the ground. It was over.
The group rode to the police station in patrol cars, with Leng Yao and Lin Tingxue, as the victims, in a separate vehicle.
Knowing he’d likely spend the rest of his life in prison, the Green-Haired Man spat out curses: “You bitches! Just wait till I get out! I’ll find your families and fuck you all to death!”
Slap!
An invisible force struck him hard across the face, knocking out his last few teeth.
Then, a searing pain shot through his groin. Clutching his crotch, he dropped to his knees. “Heroine, heroine, spare me!”
The old policeman beside him stared in bewilderment as the Green-Haired Man begged and pleaded with thin air.
“Stay quiet and stop playing tricks!”
But the Green-Haired Man refused to get up. “That tall female student has spiritual energy. She can hear me.”
He began banging his head against the floor.
In the other patrol car, Lin Tingxue frowned. If they let him go just because he begged for mercy, what about the victims who had suffered under his abuse and endured unbearable pressure? How could their cries for justice be heard?
Without hesitation, she continued channeling spiritual energy into the Green-Haired Man.
The group disembarked from the cars, but the Green-Haired Man’s patrol car swerved around and sped toward the hospital. The official explanation was that he had suffered a sudden medical emergency—excruciating pain in his lower body that had caused him to faint.
The policewoman spat out a curse: “Karma! What did he expect after treating people like that?”
By the time Leng Yao and Lin Tingxue finished giving their statements at the police station, it was late at night. To avoid worrying their parents, they booked a hotel room for the night using their phones.
Leng Yao’s phone, drained quickly due to the family plan’s GPS tracking, was handed to Lin Tingxue to make the reservation.
On the way to the hotel, Leng Yao finally snapped at Lin Tingxue: “Older Sister, are you an idiot? How could you let yourself be tricked so easily?”
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have gone with that mortal. I worried you.”
Lin Tingxue didn’t explain why, only blamed herself.
“Older Sister, I know you’re strong. But this world has so many things you haven’t experienced, and I’m afraid you’ll get hurt someday.”
Leng Yao’s usual cheerful expression vanished, replaced by earnestness. “Older Sister, please stay by my side forever, living safely and peacefully here, okay?”
Lin Tingxue hooked her little finger around Leng Yao’s, and under the girl’s bewildered gaze, she sealed a pact. “I promise, I’ll always stay by your side.”
The laws of heaven and earth activated, intricate light patterns appearing on both of them, tightly intertwining. A crimson mark appeared on each of their foreheads, then vanished. Leng Yao, being a mortal, didn’t understand the significance, thinking Lin Tingxue had simply made a promise.
With Lin Tingxue’s assurance, Leng Yao’s spirits soared again. “Older Sister, do you know how I realized something was wrong?” she asked excitedly.
True to her nature from the Cultivation World, Lin Tingxue usually only cared about the outcome, not the process. But this was Leng Yao, so she gently prompted, “Tell me.”
“Punctuation marks! Older Sister and I never use punctuation when we text, but the imposter did. That’s how I knew it wasn’t you.”
“And how did you find me?”
Leng Yao pressed a finger to her lips. “Older Sister, that’s a secret.”
Seeing Leng Yao’s mischievous expression, Lin Tingxue couldn’t help but smile. Such a clever little rabbit.
They walked a bit further, following the navigation app until they reached the hotel entrance.
“We’re finally here!” Leng Yao cheered. “I can finally get some rest!”
But as they took in the hotel’s suggestive name and hazy, seductive lighting…
Wait, Older Sister, this is a love hotel!
Stay calm, Leng Yao. Older Sister didn’t mean to. She probably just saw the word “hotel” and booked it without thinking. It’s my fault for not offering to pay.
Stumbling over her words, she said, “Older Sister, let’s find another hotel.”
“It’s already 11 PM,” Lin Tingxue replied. “Too late to change. We’ll stay here.”
On Lin Tingxue’s phone screen, the search bar still displayed her recent query: What are the best hotels for couples in love?
Leng Yao’s heart pounded, though she didn’t notice the phone’s contents. She suddenly grabbed Lin Tingxue’s hand and resolutely stepped into the hotel.
If I die, I die!
The receptionist, accustomed to all kinds of guests, remained unfazed. But she had never seen such a stunningly beautiful lesbian couple before.
She gently asked their ages to confirm they were adults.
“20 years old,” Leng Yao replied.
“414 years old,” Lin Tingxue quipped.
Leng Yao quickly covered Lin Tingxue’s mouth and produced their IDs. “My older sister is just joking. We’re both adults.”
The receptionist smiled, understanding. She registered their IDs and handed them the room key.
Pushing open the door and inserting the room card, an ambiguous pink light automatically illuminated the room.
Neither of them particularly liked it, so they adjusted the lighting. Unfortunately, there were only two settings: pink and blue. Leng Yao switched it to blue.
The cool blue light significantly diluted the ambiguous atmosphere. In the center of the room stood a large circular bed draped with white gauze curtains, making it seem no different from an ordinary hotel room.
Leng Yao sighed in relief. It wasn’t until she had showered and lay down on the bed that she noticed something was off.
The ceiling above the circular bed was actually a full-length mirror, reflecting her entire figure.
This… this… wouldn’t this allow me to see my older sister perfectly clearly?!
