Although Jiang Lanyi is a Beta, he comes from a prestigious family, possesses an attractive appearance, and has superior strength and speed. Xiao Chi lowers the window and asks, “Did you just curse at me?”
Jiang Lanyi replies, “That never happened.”
After moving into Xiao Chi’s house, Jiang Lanyi relies on his friend for food and shelter. During their first argument and subsequent cold war, he knocks on Xiao Chi’s door imperiously and asks, “How old are you?”
In response, Xiao Chi drags him inside and wraps his arms around his waist, asking, “Do you want to find out?”
Jiang Lanyi is left speechless.
After living in the Xiao residence for two months, the butler mentions for the tenth time that he has not seen the young master smile like that in a long time. Jiang Lanyi feels a sense of panic, grabs his suitcase, and runs away again.
The Ex-Boyfriend
While hitching a ride, he encounters his ex-boyfriend, Shi Dai, who is a beautiful Omega with long legs. Jiang Lanyi had pursued him for a year because of a bet, but he initiated a breakup less than two weeks after they started dating. Now, to save on rent, he is forced to live with his ex-boyfriend.

The Arch-Rival
After careful thought, Jiang Lanyi finds an island that cannot be seen on a map and books a stay at a guesthouse for three months. To his surprise, the owner of the guesthouse is Song Zhaoyi, his rival from the school swimming team who had been waiting for the Jiang family to abandon him.
Jiang Lanyi wants to fight him whenever they meet, but since he is staying in Song Zhaoyi’s house, he has to behave. However, after he accidentally tears his rival’s clothes, the man grabs his hand and places it on his abdominal muscles. Song Zhaoyi says, “You finally could not control yourself.”
Due to a series of accidents, every joint in Jiang Lanyi’s body feels sore. He tries to get up to escape, but he is grabbed by the ankle and dragged back.
“You took advantage of me and now you want to avoid responsibility?” Song Zhaoyi asks in a lazy tone, though his grip is incredibly strong.
Jiang Lanyi speaks without thinking, “Then I would have far too many responsibilities to fulfill.”
Song Zhaoyi laughs in anger and says, “It seems your romantic history is quite rich.”
After a two-second silence, he asks, “Compared to the others, who is better?”
Jiang Lanyi is stunned.
Every time Jiang Lanyi runs away, he is forced to live under someone else’s roof. He knows these Alphas have bad intentions and likely want to make fun of him. To his surprise, they only want to keep him close, and they constantly claim to love him.
