The Beauty Said She Has A Secret Crush On Me - Chapter 4
Chapter 4
Zhuang Lu had just left the restaurant when she saw the Little Huang girl timidly getting into a sedan. Zhuang Lu quickly hailed a taxi.
“Driver, follow that car in front.”
The taxi driver was a bald uncle. “Oh my! Why are you chasing that Land Rover? I don’t do illegal stuff.”
Zhuang Lu fastened her seatbelt. “Stop talking nonsense. It’s a harmonious society everywhere now. Drive quickly, and I’ll give you double the fare when we arrive.”
The power of money made the taxi shoot after the Land Rover like a flash of lightning.
Little Huang, sitting in the back seat, pressed her hands tightly on her legs, and asked the man in the front passenger seat in a weak, trembling voice, “Brother Shan, I… you… where are we going?”
The man lit a cigarette and said menacingly, “Less talking.”
Little Huang shrank her neck and dared not ask another question.
They soon reached their destination, which turned out to be a martial arts gym. There was nobody at the entrance, and the main door was wide open. Little Huang’s legs went soft with fear as soon as she got out of the car. “Brother Shan! Why did you bring me here?”
The woman who had just parked and closed the car door looked at Little Huang with disdain. She stepped forward, firmly grabbed Little Huang’s arm, and started walking inside, casually calling out to Wen Zhuo, “Handsome boy, come in.”
“Sister Hong… you’re hurting me. Please let go, I’ll walk by myself,” Little Huang pleaded with the woman.
Sister Hong smiled slightly. “You’re so delicate after being kept by the boss.”
The man still had a cigarette dangling from his mouth, walking unhurriedly behind Wen Zhuo, seemingly to prevent Wen Zhuo from escaping. But there was no fear in Wen Zhuo’s eyes. His steps didn’t hesitate as he walked into the martial arts gym.
Zhuang Lu saw this scene from afar. “Driver, can you go faster!”
The driver uncle couldn’t help but shiver and slammed on the brakes. “You get out here.”
Zhuang Lu looked at the distance, which was about two hundred meters. “We haven’t reached the destination yet. I won’t pay double then, alright?”
“No need, no need. Just give me 50 [Yuan], and hurry up and get out!”
Zhuang Lu saw the driver uncle looking like he was about to turn around immediately. She thought for a moment, paying the fare while asking, “What kind of place is that martial arts gym?”
“It’s not a good place.”
Zhuang Lu’s heart tightened. She quickly got out of the car and sprinted toward the martial arts gym. The taxi immediately turned around and sped away, leaving a cloud of dust.
As soon as Zhuang Lu entered the martial arts gym, she couldn’t find Wen Zhuo. She rounded a corner and heard someone shout at her. “Who are you?”
She fixed her gaze. It was a huge training hall, and over a dozen men were guarding a door.
Zhuang Lu’s heart leaped. The ten or so men wore black sunglasses and black suits, and they were burly, looking exactly like movie gangsters.
Zhuang Lu stopped about ten meters away from them, estimating her chances of getting out unscathed from a head-on confrontation.
She had been practicing boxing since she was a child but had never participated in any boxing matches. Once, her uncle wanted to take her to see the world, but her mother, who was as delicate as a begonia flower, stopped him with tears. Her uncle, who looked fierce and unlike a good person, crouched on the floor, awkwardly comforting his sister and swearing he would never take Zhuang Lu to a competition, which finally stopped her mother’s glassy tears.
Zhuang Lu remained dedicated to boxing. Even when her frail, short father scolded and begged her to give up this barbaric hobby, she would secretly go find her uncle. Several times, she even rescued her uncle from group fights, even though her uncle would grumble unhappily from his hospital bed that he didn’t need it at all.
So, without her parents’ knowledge, Zhuang Lu was already max-level in fighting experience. However, these fights were all five or six years ago. Later, her uncle “went straight” and started doing business in a suit. The men who dominated the scene back then also settled down and returned to normal life.
Facing these “juniors” from the underworld, Zhuang Lu felt no fear.
“Fatty, I’m talking to you! Who are you?”
Zhuang Lu walked forward step by step with composure, thus shortening the distance. “I’m here to learn boxing! Isn’t this a martial arts gym!”
The men opposite were amused. Zhuang Lu’s plump appearance was too deceptive. “The gym is not open to the public today. Please leave quickly.”
Just as Zhuang Lu was about to speak, she heard a scream from Little Huang coming from behind that door.
Not good! Zhuang Lu slightly bent her knees and rushed towards that door.
“Fatty! Stop!” The men guarding the door reacted immediately, and ten or so men formed a semi-circle, blocking Zhuang Lu’s path.
Zhuang Lu looked at them with the ferocity of a little wolf cub, completely unlike her usual soft, lazy self.
—The most important thing to hit someone is a feeling.
Zhuang Lu seemed to hear her uncle’s flippant words in her ear again.
—Sense of distance is the distance of your attack and defense with your opponent, and the distance in terms of state. If you advance one step, whether it’s by momentum or the wind from your leg forcing the opponent back one step, then you seize the initiative. Opportunities on the battlefield are fleeting. You must commit faster and capture the chance faster than your opponent.
The men only felt that the chubby girl in front of them suddenly changed. She was a pig just a moment ago, but now she instantly became a strong Tibetan Mastiff. Her speed was incredibly fast, closing the distance in a flash, and her punch was even faster. Before the others could react, the fatty’s fist had already knocked one man down. A northeastern man weighing over a hundred kilograms was knocked to the ground by a woman, trembling and unable to get up.
Zhuang Lu didn’t give them any time to breathe. Taking advantage of their shock, she delivered another standard front kick. As Zhuang Lu kicked out her leg, her plump body seemed to be held in place on the ground by a magical force. As she retracted her leg, she avoided a punch from behind as if she had eyes in the back of her head.
To ordinary people, Zhuang Lu was indeed an unattractive fat woman, but they wouldn’t know that supreme strength and speed were contained within her armor of flesh. To some extent, fat affects speed bursts, but it also correspondingly increases strength and impact. Having practiced boxing for over ten years, Zhuang Lu had long integrated speed, strength, explosiveness, and coordination into a formidable weapon.
Zhuang Lu, in fighting mode, was as if she had a hundred and eighty eyes on her body, keenly alert like a strong wolf. At the same time, her strength landed on people like a mother elephant ruthlessly bringing down its foot. She was fully immersed, calm and rational, like an old monk in deep meditation.
Beautiful explosiveness! The man who walked out of the room paused his steps, but his heart was pleasantly surprised.
“Brother Yan,” someone called out, and the man nodded.
Brother Yan unhesitatingly took off his crisp suit and walked towards Zhuang Lu. As he took one step, Zhuang Lu’s fierce gaze struck him. This gaze sent a rush of blood to Brother Yan’s brain. He licked his lips excitedly. He hadn’t felt this kind of pressure in a long time.
He was like a homing goose, eager to immediately drift over to Zhuang Lu. But in the next second, Zhuang Lu’s gaze lost its sharpness. He watched as Zhuang Lu, who was just a wolf cub, suddenly turned into a goldfish, escaping the encirclement in a few quick moves, avoiding him, and then he heard the little wolf cub say happily like a little rabbit: “Senior, are you okay?”
I took off my clothes, and this is what you show me?! What a human thing to do!
Brother Yan was so angry he laughed, but his laugh was chilling, causing Little Huang, who was huddled aside, to shiver again.
“It’s you.” Wen Zhuo, who appeared completely unharmed, was not startled by the rushing Zhuang Lu and still spoke gently to her.
Zhuang Lu’s tiny eyes smiled into a line. “Senior, you finally recognized me!”
Wen Zhuo was momentarily taken aback by her words. Wasn’t this the classmate who touched his butt while squeezing onto the bus? Did they have a prior acquaintance? Given the situation, he had to nod. “What are you doing here?”
“I was eating at the restaurant too. Seeing injustice on the road, I had to lend a hand. Are you okay?”
Wen Zhuo smiled. “I’m fine.”
Zhuang Lu nodded, turned around, and became a little wolf cub again, slowly sweeping her gaze over Brother Shan and Sister Hong, and finally landing on the man standing in front of them. It’s a cold day, and he’s not even wearing a jacket. Is he crazy? Zhuang Lu silently complained in her heart, but she identified this crazy man as the so-called Brother Yan.
“How do we resolve this?” Zhuang Lu asked the crazy man directly, with a touch of chivalry.
Brother Yan, who was being thought of as crazy, lit a cigarette. “What’s your relationship with them?”
Zhuang Lu quickly replied, “We are all classmates. Senior and Little Huang also have a pure, simple, clean, and innocent relationship as classmates.”
“Little Huang?” Sister Hong couldn’t help but laugh. “Are you talking about her?”
Her slender finger pointed at Huang Yutian, who was huddled aside. Zhuang Lu nodded and said something out of the blue: “Your nails are very pretty.”
Sister Hong paused, then laughed coquettishly, “Thank you.”
Brother Yan looked at the wolf cub and realized that although her punches were fierce, there was an innocent silliness about her. His interest waned slightly. “Tiantiang, come here.”
