The Beautiful Older Sister Always Flirts With Me - Chapter 1
Chapter 1: The Perfect Lover
“Do you mind being my girlfriend? Ten thousand a month.”
This was Qin Youran’s first month working part-time at the coffee shop, and the beautiful woman in front of her had already asked the same question ten times.
She placed the hot coffee on the counter, her lips pursed, her eyes holding an iceberg-like indifference.
“I’m sorry, this isn’t a bar.”
The implication was clear: I’m not here to be your coffee companion.
The woman had long, brown hair with slightly curled ends—a fashionable style. She wore a vibrant lipstick, and her lips were beautiful. When she smiled, she looked like an elegant Ragdoll cat.
“But you’re really beautiful, especially your fingers, they’re so long.”
Her voice slowed down as she said that sentence.
The woman continued to comment.
Her gaze seemed glued to Qin Youran. Qin Youran couldn’t stand her and looked toward the coffee shop entrance.
She hoped the next customer would appear, but unfortunately, it was working hours, and there were barely any customers.
Bai Qinshu reached for the coffee cup. For some unknown reason, the cup suddenly tipped over, and the brown coffee spilled all over the counter.
Qin Youran felt a patch of wetness on her palm. She looked down to see her cuff and pants stained with a large patch of coffee.
“You…”
Qin Youran took a deep breath, telling herself not to get angry at the Gold VIP Member, or the boss would drag her by the ear and give her a stern lecture.
And this high-paying part-time job would likely be lost.
“I’m sorry, let me pay for this outfit.”
Bai Qinshu said carelessly, her remorse seemingly feigned.
She held up her phone.
“I’ll add you on WeChat and transfer it. Is it two thousand or eight thousand?”
Qin Youran was one hundred percent certain this woman did it on purpose. She bit her lip, her beautiful brows slightly furrowed.
“Sixteen thousand.”
Qin Youran said this deliberately to provoke Bai Qinshu. The woman clearly wanted her WeChat ID and was using her ten-dollar clothes as an excuse.
“That’s not expensive.”
Bai Qinshu nodded, displaying her WeChat QR code.
“Add me, Miss Qin Beauty.”
Qin Youran: …
She held out her phone, yet she couldn’t help thinking, Rich people really are foolish and loaded.
The other side quickly accepted her request and, without another word, transferred the money.
It was exactly sixteen thousand.
Qin Youran, of course, wouldn’t keep the money. She only accepted the original price of the clothes and pants. The total cost, including the cost of washing the clothes, was no more than two hundred yuan.
She transferred the rest of the money back, while also adding a note to the person.
“Rich Silly Cat”
She couldn’t help it. The woman looked too much like a beautiful Ragdoll cat. Sometimes, Qin Youran couldn’t help but wonder if she was a cat spirit.
Alas, spirits weren’t allowed after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, so obviously, she wasn’t.
Having successfully obtained her WeChat ID today, Bai Qinshu wasn’t greedy. She ordered another cup of coffee, then slowly sauntered out of the coffee shop.
But just as she left the shop, her phone suddenly rang urgently. Bai Qinshu answered the call.
“Qinshu, come out and hang out! I have a pretty girl for you!”
Bai Qinshu turned around and waved at Qin Youran, who was still wiping the counter inside the shop.
The other woman glanced at her, then immediately bent down and started mopping the floor.
“Not interested.”
Bai Qinshu’s good mood was halved. She suddenly didn’t want to go to the appointment.
“I have the type you like!”
Bai Qinshu’s interest was piqued again.
“Is she reserved?”
“Reserved! Very reserved!”
Her friend praised the girl excessively. Bai Qinshu’s mind raced, and she decisively agreed to go.
However, when she arrived at the bar, looking at the debauchery and the somewhat shy girl sitting across from her, Bai Qinshu was instantly bored.
“Isn’t she pretty?”
Bai Qinshu nodded. She just felt like something was missing.
She was particularly eager to be in a relationship lately, but she wasn’t willing to settle, so she was advertising for dates everywhere.
“She’s not bad, but she’s not as pretty as that person.”
Bai Qinshu closed her eyes and immediately thought of Qin Youran. Qin Youran only wore light makeup, due to the coffee shop’s requirements.
Her lips were neither too thick nor too thin—just right for a woman. Their color was a pinkish-red, and her brow carried a hint of heroism, along with a touch of youthful innocence.
Especially her eyes. They were particularly bright when she looked at someone.
Like they held stars. If you held her gaze for more than three seconds, you absolutely wouldn’t be able to look away.
Bai Qinshu gripped the sofa armrest tightly, suppressing the surging thoughts in her heart.
She felt like the people in front of her were all meaningless. She rested her left hand on her cheek.
“I’m going back.”
Forget it. I’ll focus on how to plan a better and more perfect strategy to win over the little beauty.
But she didn’t expect the accident to come so quickly.
The person she had been thinking about so much would actually seek her out, would lower that cold and arrogant head.
Begging her for a chance.
…
The cold wind was whistling. After her shift exchange, Qin Youran planned to rush to her next part-time job—a different establishment.
It was a family restaurant, and Qin Youran worked as a waitress due to her outstanding appearance.
She worked two jobs a day, with the remaining time spent reading and studying. Qin Youran wanted to get a working visa abroad because she could earn more from the exchange rate difference.
However, before she could reach the bus stop, her phone rang.
Qin Youran looked at the bustling streetlights and clicked to answer.
“Hello, Uncle?”
“Youran, come home.”
The man on the other end of the line spoke, his voice filled with urgency.
“What happened?”
Qin Youran sensed something was wrong and frowned again.
“The people who were looking for your dad to collect debts blocked your front door and poured red paint all over the walls and door. Your grandma was so angry she had to be hospitalized.”
The reason Qin Youran was so exhausted was that her father was addicted to gambling and owed a huge amount of debt.
The once-warm family was now precarious. At first, they borrowed from all their relatives and sold everything they could to barely scrape together the repayment money.
But less than half a year later, her father was kneeling in front of her grandmother, weeping.
Saying he was an unfilial son.
When the astronomical debt crushed them again, her mother broke down.
She became mentally unstable.
The reason Qin Youran was working so many jobs was to pay off the enormous family debt.
“Is Grandma okay?”
Qin Youran frowned.
Her workplace was on the other side of the city—the bustling city center. The pay for part-time work here was the highest.
So she didn’t go to see her grandmother unless she had to, relying on her uncle to take care of her usually.
“She’s elderly and prone to osteoporosis. The surgery to set the bone is done, but…”
The man paused. By the sound of it, he seemed to take a deep breath on the other end of the line.
“The medical expenses are quite high.”
Qin Youran nodded. She maintained a smile, her voice as gentle as could be.
“I understand. Thank you, Uncle. I’ll transfer the money right away.”
