After Accidentally Forcing A Kiss On The Ice-Cold Mature Woman - Chapter 14
After being jolted awake by Jiang Shixue’s movements, Wen Fei bumped right into the scene of Jiang Shixue attempting to pull down her trousers.
In the brief moment their eyes met, a certain suspicion flashed through Wen Fei’s mind.
The moment that thought took hold, Wen Fei felt a surge of heat rising within her body.
Wen Fei hadn’t originally intended to enter into a physical relationship with Jiang Shixue. Her only plan was to use the title of “girlfriend” to keep Jiang Shixue under her wing, so she could look after her in a way that was natural and justifiable.
But Jiang Shixue seemed to like her even more than she had anticipated.
Wen Fei felt quite conflicted.
It turned out that Jiang Shixue’s attachment to her wasn’t just due to a lack of security. Was it because Jiang Shixue herself harbored a deep longing for her?
An unusual sensation welled up in Wen Fei’s heart.
However, if Jiang Shixue really wanted to “touch” her, should she truly indulge her little girlfriend and just agree to it like that?
Was that really okay?
Wen Fei felt she hadn’t thought it through yet. She didn’t want to enter into a physical relationship so haphazardly—especially not with Jiang Shixue.
Wen Fei looked at Jiang Shixue with a burning gaze.
Staring back, Jiang Shixue’s small face instantly flushed crimson. She stammered, “No… it’s not like that! Touch what? Who said anything about touching?”
“I was just… I was afraid you were hot, so I wanted to help you cool down a bit…”
Ahhh, stupid mouth! What kind of pathetic excuse was that? Even Jiang Shixue thought her words sounded like a desperate cover-up.
Wen Fei obviously didn’t believe her. She rested her hand on Jiang Shixue’s shoulder, her voice dropping lower: “Is that so?”
With the light behind her, Jiang Shixue couldn’t see Wen Fei’s expression clearly, but in her peripheral vision, Wen Fei’s open collar revealed a glimpse of skin as white and soft as snow-skin mooncakes, which felt overwhelmingly present.
Shame nearly moved Jiang Shixue to tears. With a voice that sounded like she was on the verge of sobbing, she feigned a haughty air and lifted her snowy-white chin, offering a roundabout admission:
“So what if I took a look? At worst, I’ll just let you look back at me!”
“I just wanted to look at my girlfriend. Won’t you let me? Do you not like me anymore?”
As she spoke, Jiang Shixue put on a huffy, pouting expression, though in reality, she didn’t dare look at Wen Fei at all.
Wen Fei watched Jiang Shixue’s display of forced logic and “fierceness” that masked her internal weakness. She stroked Jiang Shixue’s head, her voice low and raspy: “Don’t think like that.”
Jiang Shixue lowered her head and muttered softly, acting as if she were perfectly in the right: “Then you say it… say you like me.”
Looking at Jiang Shixue like this, Wen Fei felt the itch in her heart grow stronger, and her body felt even hotter.
Earlier on the bed, when Jiang Shixue was nuzzling her head and body against her like a kitten, Wen Fei had already found it somewhat unbearable. Hearing her speak this way now, Wen Fei felt a scratching sensation in her heart, like a cat’s paws, making her itch with the urge to disregard everything and press Jiang Shixue down beneath her to tease her.
But… looking at Jiang Shixue’s eyes, which were as clear as a shallow spring, Wen Fei suppressed the feelings in her heart. She spoke calmly to coax the “child” before her: “Of course I like you.”
The flush on Jiang Shixue’s face deepened. She whispered, “Okay then.”
Then, Jiang Shixue looked at Wen Fei timidly and said in a soft, tender voice, “Then hurry up and put your clothes back on. Let’s get some proper sleep.”
She spoke as if Wen Fei’s clothes hadn’t been unbuttoned by her own hands.
Watching Jiang Shixue turn her back and lie down to sleep, Wen Fei didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Didn’t Jiang Shixue realize that she was the one who had started the provocation?
But now that Jiang Shixue was acting as if “nothing had happened,” Wen Fei was left at a loss for what to do.
Gazing at Jiang Shixue’s peaceful sleeping face, Wen Fei felt an indescribable, parching heat all over. The places where Jiang Shixue had just touched her began to burn with a faint, throbbing heat again.
As Wen Fei shifted her body slightly, she felt a damp, sticky sensation.
Wen Fei had a physical reaction to Jiang Shixue.
Jiang Shixue remained lying there with her back turned, seemingly drifting off into dreamland. She had buried her head in the quilt, and even the back of her neck was flushed a shy pink; from Wen Fei’s perspective, only half of a fuzzy head was visible.
Wen Fei pursed her lips, stood up, and went into the bathroom.
The shower was turned on, and the rustling cold water washed over Wen Fei’s body as she tried to calm her restless heart. However, that heat seemed to radiate from within her very bones; no matter how long she stood under the cold water, it was of no use.
Her rut was supposed to end by tomorrow.
As an Omega, during the several days of a rut, one becomes exceptionally sensitive to a partner’s pheromones, and the body will experience certain… reactions that an adult should have.
Yet, in all these years, Wen Fei had never experienced this kind of reaction.
Was it because she had always used suppressants in the past?
Wen Fei was not a lustful person; in fact, quite the opposite—she was so cold and solemn that she bordered on asexual. There were almost no Alphas around her, and in all these years, she had never had a partner. The only person she had ever been in close contact with was Jiang Shixue.
This abnormal reaction, so different from usual, had no clear cause. Wen Fei closed her eyes, attributing it all to the influence of the heat cycle and pheromones. Perhaps this was just what happened when one didn’t use suppressants.
The cold water brought waves of shivering, but as Wen Fei closed her eyes, Jiang Shixue’s figure uncontrollably surfaced in her mind.
Amidst the swirling mist, Wen Fei’s thoughts drifted. She remembered when Jiang Shixue had proactively leaned in to kiss her on the aircraft, those clear eyes full of shyness.
Jiang Shixue liked her so much, and craved her so much.
But what about her own feelings for Jiang Shixue?
Wen Fei found it hard to say. Though they were “girlfriend” and “girlfriend” in name, in the depths of her heart, Wen Fei had always viewed Jiang Shixue as a child who needed care. She might have feelings for her, but they certainly weren’t as intense as the love Jiang Shixue felt for her.
In other words, she seemed unable to respond to Jiang Shixue’s fiery passion with an equal weight of affection.
Should they really be together like this? After this, would she continue to date Jiang Shixue like a normal couple… would they get married?
Wen Fei lightly stroked her own body, attempting to soothe the agitation within. However, instead of subsiding, the restlessness grew even more intense.
From within the bathroom came the sound of Wen Fei’s suppressed, low gasps.
Unknowingly, Wen Fei felt as though the water was becoming “more and more” as she washed.
