Shou-Switching System Has Been Bound - Chapter 3
Chapter 3: Revenge
“Wh-what?” Xia Xu couldn’t believe his ears. Having done something wrong, his reaction was one of pure guilt.
Did Gege just say it’s ‘dirty’? Was he talking about me? Does Gege know something?
Just the thought of this possibility made Xia Xu break into a cold sweat. He didn’t dare imagine what would happen if Ji Lianyi found out… if he didn’t want him anymore…
Ji Lianyi saw the fear in his eyes. So he is afraid. He had drugged him to seek thrills and even did it right beside him; Ji Lianyi had almost thought Xia Xu was fearless.
He raised a hand and wiped the corner of Xia Xu’s mouth. “Something was stuck there.”
This single sentence acted like a pardon, bringing Xia Xu back to life. A look of relief appeared on his pale face, and he hurriedly rubbed his mouth hard. “Oh, I-I see…”
Ji Lianyi: “See you tonight.”
The door closed. Xia Xu clutched his racing heart, his legs feeling weak. He had been scared to death just now.
He absolutely could not lose Gege!
He had to ask Qi Youli to meet immediately and end their relationship.
Just as he picked up his phone, a message from Qi Youli popped up: “See you at the usual place.”
When Ji Lianyi walked into the classroom, it was nearly full. His classes had always been popular during his tenure; quite a few students came simply for his looks.
He placed his water bottle on the desk.
The students who were there for his appearance were full of admiration. He wore off-white casual pants and an apricot-colored crewneck sweater, with the white collar of his shirt peeking out.
It was a very gentle outfit. The hands resting on the podium were large, with long fingers and distinct joints. His cold white skin made the blue veins more visible.
However, those beautiful hands were covered in numerous wounds today.
Some students said that using wine to describe him was too intense, and using tea was too light. He was more like the first cup of milk tea in autumn—warm, comforting, and perfectly balanced. Seeing him made bubbles of joy rise up, floating sweetly.
Ji Lianyi began calling roll.
“Li Xiaoyun.”
“Here.”
He looked at the male student raising his hand. “The new haircut suits you well.”
The student’s smile immediately reached his ears as he gave a thumbs up. “As expected of Professor Ji, the most handsome teacher in our school you have great taste.”
Many students laughed. The atmosphere in Ji Lianyi’s classes was always relaxed; otherwise, during a 90-minute lecture, students could easily drift off.
In this session, they continued discussing Psychometrics.
In truth, these technical terms were all clearly written in the textbook. Ji Lianyi’s job was to use narratives to make the knowledge more accessible, entering the students’ minds in a simpler way to be understood and remembered.
He had been doing this for four years and was quite good at it.
To him, every lecture was a learning experience learning what the psychology of a “normal” human being should look like.
At a Cafe
“We shouldn’t meet anymore.” Xia Xu held his iced Americano. This was the first thing he said after sitting down—not a discussion, but a notification.
Opposite him, Qi Youli, who was just about to speak, opened and closed his mouth several times without making a sound.
That world-weary face looked a bit dazed at the moment.
He didn’t know how many times he had run through this situation in his head. First, Xia Xu took the initiative to seduce him and invite him to his home. Then, the guy’s old man almost strangled him to death but did nothing to Xia Xu. And now, Xia Xu suddenly wanted to end things.
No matter how he looked at it, he was being played like a dog.
“Heh—”
He let out an ambiguous laugh.
He picked up his vanilla latte and took small sips; his throat still hurt so much that he didn’t dare swallow in large gulps.
Seeing that he wasn’t speaking, Xia Xu steeled himself: “I can have one last ‘break-up’ session with you!”
This was a way to settle the problem; this time wouldn’t count as betraying Gege.
Qi Youli lifted his eyelids, surprised by the suggestion. His pitch-black eyes stared at Xia Xu. At this moment, he felt a bit of sympathy for that “Uncle.”
Under his gaze, Xia Xu’s face slowly turned red as he lowered his eyes. “The last time. After this, you can’t pester me anymore. We’ll just be friends.”
Qi Youli set down his cup. “Ending it is fine.”
His voice was hoarse.
Xia Xu wondered why his voice had become like that, but hearing him agree made his expression relax significantly. He stood up. “Then let’s go to a hotel now.”
Qi Youli didn’t move. He reached for the phone he had placed on the table upon arrival, pressing it twice only to see a black screen.
He extended his hand toward Xia Xu. “Battery’s dead. Lend me yours; I need to call a friend.”
Xia Xu was wary. “What are you doing?”
Was he going to call a friend over for a 3P?
Qi Youli: “It has nothing to do with you. Private business.”
Xia Xu gave an unnatural “Oh,” unlocked the phone, and handed it to him.
Qi Youli quickly opened Xia Xu’s WeChat and caught sight of the pinned contact: “Gege.”
He snorted mockingly in his heart. In front of him, Xia Xu always referred to the man as “that Uncle.”
He pushed the contact to himself and then deleted the chat record.
Exiting WeChat, he tossed the phone onto the table. “Never mind, I forgot the phone number.”
Xia Xu: “…”
He picked up his phone. “Shall we go?”
Qi Youli had already achieved his goal for this meeting. He looked up at Xia Xu and suddenly smiled, sounding cynical. “You want to do it with me that badly?”
Xia Xu became like a cat with its tail stepped on. “What nonsense are you talking! I want to end this with you completely!”
Qi Youli stood up slowly, hunching his back and leaning his head close to Xia Xu. Today he wore a black high-necked thin shirt and a matching faux-leather jacket.
He exuded the sex appeal of a mature man.
The silver stud partially visible through his black curls looked very flirtatious.
Xia Xu thought he was going to kiss him and said shyly, “Wait until we get to the hotel…”
“From this moment on, we are completely over.”
Xia Xu froze. That easily?
Qi Youli had zero interest in f*cking him right now. He only wanted to make that Uncle kneel and call him “Daddy”!
He had to beat that face until it was black and blue, with tears and snot running everywhere.
His dark eyes stared at Xia Xu, full of deep meaning. “Don’t worry, I won’t look for you again.”
The corners of his mouth quirked, revealing two rows of wicked white teeth.
Standing at the shop entrance, Xia Xu watched Qi Youli roar away on his motorcycle. The matter had been resolved more simply than he expected. Qi Youli’s total lack of reluctance made him a bit unhappy, as if he lacked any charm worth holding onto.
But at least the matter was finally settled.
Ji Lianyi finished his class. He drank water while responding to the students who greeted him before leaving, a gentle smile in his eyes behind his lenses.
Just as he set down his water bottle to pick up his phone…
The last male student remaining in the corner drifted over like a dark cloud. His hair was somewhat long, and with his black-rimmed glasses, his face was almost invisible.
“Student Yuan Lin, is there something you need?” Ji Lianyi called out the name accurately.
Yuan Lin’s gaze fell on the wounds on his hands, and he awkwardly handed over two band-aids.
Ji Lianyi understood his meaning. “Thank you.”
He moved his hand, the shine of dried ointment visible on the wounds. “But the teacher doesn’t need band-aids right now. My boyfriend applied medicine for me, and it shouldn’t be covered up. Sorry.”
The other person’s hand gripped the band-aids tightly. He nodded and left without a word.
In the empty classroom, the smile on Ji Lianyi’s face vanished instantly. Without an expression, he actually looked more relaxed and natural, though a trace of exhaustion bled through.
He opened his phone.
Someone had applied to be his friend. The profile picture was a little black dog showing its belly. The image of the “Puppy’s” black curls flashed through his mind.
He accepted the request.
The other person immediately sent a voice message, so fast it seemed they had been camping on his profile.
He played the message.
“Uncle, your boyfriend just asked me to go to a hotel~”
The hoarse voice felt like a pile of grit rolling over his eardrums. The last little pebble bounced around with a taunting, annoying tone.
Before it ended, the other person sent a photo. It was Xia Xu’s face, lost in lust.
“He’s never felt this good under you, has he?”
“Uncle”
“Heh—”
Provocation and smugness were almost palpable through these three voice messages.
Ji Lianyi’s reaction remained indifferent. System 66 sighed silently this level of psychological endurance was clearly meant for big things. But this guy was way too irritating!
Ji Lianyi clicked the second-to-last message again. That “Uncle” popped up once more, the voice wavy like a tilde, hoarse in just the right way.
Qi Youli stared at his phone without blinking. The other party hadn’t replied to him.
He clicked on Ji Lianyi’s “Moments”. It was set to “Visible for last three days only.” Obviously, he hadn’t posted anything in those three days. Qi Youli exited; he hated the three-day limit.
At his shop that night, he was practically stretching his neck waiting. Time ticked by, the night grew darker, and customers left in wave after wave.
Thud!
Qi Youli’s head hit the counter hard. The pain made him grimace, but it woke him up.
He checked the time; it was already 4 AM.
It seemed he wasn’t coming tonight. Qi Youli felt a bit disappointed.
His phone buzzed.
A reply at last!
Qi Youli was excited as he clicked in. It was a link.
He blinked. Is it some kind of video? A counter-attack?
He clicked it.
Nothing. It was blank.
The moment he clicked the link, a small red dot appeared on a black app Ji Lianyi had open. He used two fingers to zoom in.
A clear location name appeared under the red dot.
A WeChat message popped up at the top of the screen.
Puppy: “What is this?”
Ji Lianyi continued to ignore him.
The next day, Qi Youli was still waiting eagerly. A regular customer noticed him glancing at the door repeatedly and teased, “Waiting for your partner?”
Qi Youli gave a half-smile and opened the chat with Ji Lianyi. It was full of his own one-sided messages.
He sent another: “Uncle, your boyfriend says you’re no good in bed.”
His provocation was like a stone thrown into the ocean, failing to cause even a ripple.
Enraged, he sent a short video of Xia Xu over.
“Uncle, your boyfriend’s moans are so slutty~” He whispered, keeping his voice low around the customers. His unhealed throat still sounded hoarse and somewhat pitiful, yet he insisted on imitating Xia Xu’s moans to stimulate Ji Lianyi.
Ji Lianyi played the message. He listened to it twice before exiting the chat.
He opened his camera and took a photo of a corner of a park.
Receiving no reply, Qi Youli looked resentful and snorted. He hoped this old man would manage not to beg for mercy when he was getting beaten up.
Seeing a red dot on his “Discover” tab, he opened the Moments feed. His pupils contracted.
The Uncle had posted!
The photo showed trees and flowers at night.
The caption: Marking a location. I’ll come here with him when I have time.
The location was tagged at Xiuhu Park.
Qi Youli looked up suddenly. “Sorry, everyone! There’s an emergency at home. Today’s on me. I have to close up and head back. I’ll give you a discount next time!”
His motorcycle streaked through traffic like a meteor heading straight for Xiuhu Park. Upon arrival, he felt that even heaven was helping him. The park was mediocre, deserted, half the lights were broken, and it was pitch black everywhere.
As the saying goes: A dark moon and high winds are for murder and arson.
He only prayed the Uncle hadn’t left, anxiously searching the park.
He rounded a narrow path, and his gaze froze. Not far ahead, sitting on a bench, was the Uncle he had been obsessing over.
He was facing sideways, head down looking at his phone.
He gripped the half-brick in his hand. One hit would definitely knock him out. After that, he’d use his fists and feet until the man was crying and kneeling for mercy.
Excitedly, he scanned the area and saw a public restroom not far away.
Knock him out, then drag him into a stall.
Having made his plan, he lightened his steps and slowly approached. The other man remained immersed in his phone, oblivious to the world, one arm casually draped over the back of the bench.
Ji Lianyi watched the red dot get closer. Hook, line, and sinker.
Qi Youli held his breath as he entered attacking range. The hand holding the brick rose cautiously. He couldn’t kill him; he had to control his strength.
The person on the bench suddenly turned his head.
The sudden eye contact froze Qi Youli for two seconds. Ji Lianyi’s slight smirk froze him for another two.
As an electric current surged through his body, only one thought remained in Qi Youli’s mind: It’s a trap!
The brick fell from his shaking hand. Following it was a collapsing, unconscious Qi Youli. The hand Ji Lianyi had draped over the bench was holding a small stun baton.
It wasn’t a standard model; he had customized it over the last two days. It was very powerful.
When Qi Youli regained consciousness, he heard moaning.
He opened his eyes dizzily. It was pitch black, his body was still numb, and his brain was mush, unable to even think. For a moment, he couldn’t remember what had happened.
The sounds nearby grew louder.
“Ge… Gege, be gentler…”
“Shut up. What right does a rent-boy like you have to make demands!”
Qi Youli blinked. His mind slowly cleared, and he realized he was blindfolded.
A large hand appeared behind his head. The other fingers curled in, leaving only a long index finger to slowly descend, hooking the collar of his shirt against his neck.
Qi Youli shivered uncontrollably.
He tried to speak, only to find tape over his mouth. He tried to turn, but even his feet wouldn’t move.
He panicked. He was terrified…
But he couldn’t move an inch.
Currently, he was facing away from the stall door, his feet separated on either side of the squat toilet, tied with rope to the bottom of the partitions.
His hands were bound to the flush tank.
An index finger hooked the collar away, and eyes fell on his hidden neck. In two days, neither the scratches nor the purple bruises from the strangulation had faded.
But the color had dimmed.
Not vivid enough.
The collar was pressed back against his neck. A finger slid slowly down his spine over his clothes, hooking the waistband of his pants. A curled fingertip touched skin covered in goosebumps.
Qi Youli was so scared his muscles tensed.
He tightened everything.
He turned his head; the blindfold hid everything, but he knew exactly who was responsible!
“If I leave the door open and leave you here for a night, I wonder how many people will visit you.”
This was the first time Qi Youli heard Ji Lianyi speak. The voice was warm and gentle, but the words were terrifying.
“I wonder if you’ll moan even sluttier than Xia Xu?”
Qi Youli’s pants were suddenly yanked down. Following that, he heard the sound of Ji Lianyi’s departing footsteps.
Through the muffled mouth came urgent, desperate “Mmm-mmm” sounds. He used all his strength to break free, making the partitions on both sides shake.
F*ck!
Get your ass back here!
Don’t leave! DON’T LEAVE!!!
