Ji Yao was reborn ten years into the future. Upon waking, the system pointed to a woman not far away and said:
“Get her to take you home within five minutes, or you die.”
Facing the now-famous scumbag Alpha, superstar Qin Zishu, Ji Yao steeled herself and stepped forward.
Ji Yao: “Um, can I?”
Qin Zishu: “Not bad.”
During the cold war, the system issued a new mission:
“The target’s pheromones are toxic. Complete the ‘poison’ mission within five seconds, or die.”
Determined not to die, Ji Yao glared and tore off Qin Zishu’s inhibition patch.
“Let me smell your pheromones,” she demanded.
Qin Zishu stared at her, eyes filled with complex emotion.
“You provoked me. Now you have to take responsibility.”
With the mindset of “sacrifice myself for the happiness of millions,” Ji Yao thought, fine—responsibility it is.
But later, as she was overwhelmed by the scent filling the room, her legs went weak.
Indeed, Qin Zishu’s pheromones were toxic—but not as rumored. They were just too strong!
Forced into heat earlier than expected, Ji Yao was on the verge of losing control when she saw Qin Zishu lock the door behind her.
Red-eyed, Qin Zishu cried out:
“You were the one who said you’d take responsibility for me!”
