Rich Cat A Would Never Fall in Love with a Fake Heiress - Chapter 2
Luo Zhu Hotel, front desk.
“Here is your card, Mr. Luo. The same suite as before, correct?”
“Right. No need to send anyone up tonight, I have a beauty accompanying me.”
“Very well. Enjoy your evening.”
Mo Wang sized up the seemingly impatient Alpha before her, suppressing her disgust as she gently placed a hand on his back and followed him into the elevator.
As soon as the elevator doors closed, Luo Liming eagerly tried to press closer, but she stopped him with a single finger against his chest, tracing slow, deliberate circles.
Holding her breath to avoid the overpowering scent of ink from his pheromones, Mo Wang feigned coyness. “Patience, now. You promised, if I stay with you, you’ll sign the contract.”
A flicker of impatience crossed Luo Liming’s eyes.
These people really think I’m a fool. First, it was Omegas, and now even a Beta dares to try seducing me.
Still, this Beta was rather attractive, with a pleasant voice and no ties to the Mo family anymore, no influential background. He could reluctantly accept her.
As for the contract… promises made in bed didn’t count. If she had the nerve, she could try reporting him.
With that thought, Luo Liming’s irritation faded. He coaxed her into the suite and leisurely removed his jacket, draping it over the sofa.
Mo Wang sat demurely on the sofa, knees drawn up, not resisting as Luo Liming reached for her. Instead, she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, her pale fingers slowly tracing circles over the slightly prominent knot at the nape of his neck.
The gland was an Alpha’s most sensitive spot. Almost instantly, the scent of ink intensified, and Luo Liming’s breathing grew heavy as he reached to tear off Mo Wang’s flimsy clothing.
But a sharp, undeniable pain shot through his vulnerable gland. A potent, possessive Omega pheromone suddenly erupted, saturating the room.
His expression shifted instantly. He spun around and rushed to the floor-length mirror, pulling his collar aside to look.
Two small, fresh puncture marks, carrying the distinct scent of white peach, stood out starkly on his gland, like…
“An Omega’s bite marks.” Mo Wang stood behind him, holding a small double-ended injector, her smile bewitching and radiant. To Luo Liming, she now seemed like a soul-snatching phantom.
Her voice was light and cheerful. “How does it feel to be marked by an Omega? I specially selected the most fashionable pheromone for you, Mr. Luo.”
“Consider it my gift to your fiancée.”
Luo Liming’s heart skipped a beat, and cold sweat broke out on his temples.
His father had recently arranged a marriage for him. His fiancée came from an excellent family and had a favorable impression of him. This marriage was his only chance to outshine his elder brother, Luo Licheng, and secure his position in the Luo family. There was no room for error.
But how could this Beta know? Even within the Luo family, very few were aware…
Gritting his teeth, Luo Liming forced a defiant tone. “You think you can threaten me with this? An Omega’s pheromones can’t last long, they can’t mark an Alpha, you foolish woman.”
“Really?” Mo Wang waved the injector in her hand. “Our company’s specially formulated biological solvent, combined with pheromone extract, ensures the scent lasts up to fifteen days, exactly the same duration as a temporary Alpha mark. And I’m the only one with the antidote.”
“Unfortunately, this product sparked controversy as soon as it was launched. Therefore, I need the influence of your media company to suppress the public opinion. In exchange, I will trade 10% of my company’s equity for the 3% you hold in the Mo Group.”
Upon hearing this, Luo Liming slumped into his seat, let out a long sigh, and said helplessly, “My fiancée, my business, my assets… is there anything you don’t know about?”
“There’s nothing I don’t know,” Mo Wang replied condescendingly, pulling out a document. “Foolish Alpha, pay the price for your fickleness. Sign here, and we’ll pretend nothing ever happened.”
…
Mo Li was delayed at the front desk for a while. The receptionist refused to disclose any guest information, and the conversation was as tight as a sealed vault. She had no choice but to book a room of the same type and knock on every door on the same floor to search.
But as soon as she knocked on one door, it was abruptly opened.
Luo Liming emerged, reeking of an Omega’s scent, looking like a defeated rooster.
When he saw Mo Li, his expression turned complicated. He took two large steps back, keeping his distance, and left without even glancing back.
The door remained open. Mo Li, puzzled, began to speculate reasonably.
Could it be that this fool had brought an Omega for a threesome and caused trouble?
Her heart tightened. She pushed the door open and entered, only to be hit by a chaotic and intense mix of pheromones, interwoven with Mo Wang’s perfume, stirring her blood.
Mo Li nearly slipped into her sensitive period. She injected a double shot of concentrated suppressants into her neck, barely steadying herself, and scanned the room.
Just then, the sound of running water came from the bathroom. She turned to look and saw Mo Wang, wrapped only in a towel that barely covered her chest, drying her hair. When Mo Wang noticed Mo Li, she paused mid-step.
Her fair, glowing skin seemed to radiate light, and her expression was innocent and confused, like a rabbit.
Mo Li swallowed hard, forcing her thoughts back, and spoke awkwardly.
“You two… finished up pretty quickly.”
Mo Wang stared at her coldly for a moment before averting her gaze. “Yes, he wasn’t very capable.”
Hearing her confirmation, a surge of anger rose within Mo Li. She bit her lip hard. “Do you really hold yourself in such low regard? Just to bring me down and ensure I never have peace?”
Mo Wang remained unruffled. “When I was with the Mo Group, I knew my place. Now, I just want to take what’s rightfully mine.”
Suddenly, Mo Li narrowed her eyes and stepped closer to Mo Wang. Her usually clear, cool voice was unusually hoarse.
“Did you release your pheromones?”
The sudden shift in topic caught Mo Li off guard. She nodded instinctively. “On the way here, to mask the scent of my lunch…”
But the rest of her words were swallowed by warmth and softness. Mo Li was pulled down by the back of her neck, her lips eagerly captured in a series of delicate, teasing kisses, filled with sensuality.
The air thickened with a subtle fragrance. Mo Li’s heart raced violently. The desires suppressed by the inhibitors surged like molten lava, hot and scorching, clamoring to break through her rationality.
Mo Wang raised a hand, intending to cover Mo Li’s eyes.
But Mo Li suddenly grabbed her wrist, pulling away. Her cheeks were flushed, but her gaze was clear.
“You never told me you were an Omega.”
It wasn’t a question. Mo Wang’s fingers twitched as she withdrew her hand, her breath slightly unsteady. “After seven years, you finally noticed.”
Mo Li froze, murmuring, “Have you always been an Omega? Then why does your pheromone scent…”
She had initially thought Mo Wang was mistaken for a Beta due to a late differentiation.
Mo Wang narrowed her eyes: “Scent? My pheromones have no scent.”
Assuming Mo Li was making excuses to brush her off, she decided not to press further and spread her hands openly: “As you can see, I’m an Omega. Tonight, I was exposed to too much pheromone stimulation, and since your pheromones have a high compatibility with mine, it triggered my heat. I need a temporary mark.”
Mo Li was taken aback by the blunt statement, but then it occurred to her that no matter how low the compatibility, during intimate encounters, an Omega would always be forcibly driven into heat by an Alpha.
The fact that Mo Wang was only asking for a temporary mark now meant that she had been completely innocent with Luo Liming just moments before.
An invitation from a highly compatible Omega flooded Mo Li’s mind with primal instincts. She was no saint, so she stopped holding back. Wrapping an arm around the other’s shoulder, she brushed aside the damp hair and began massaging the Omega’s small gland to help it relax.
The soft, fruity scent of blueberries seemed gentle but slowly permeated every inch of the space.
Mo Wang whimpered, her fingers instinctively clutching Mo Li’s shoulders. Just as the sharp teeth were about to pierce her gland, her fingertips tightened abruptly, leaving faint red marks.
…
Their pheromones clashed and intertwined, and the temporary mark was nothing more than a temporary relief, like quenching thirst with poison. Mo Li had never felt so exhilarated. After thoroughly indulging in the chaos, she collapsed onto the bed, exhausted, holding the person who had already fallen asleep.
As she drifted into a deep slumber, a flicker of confusion crossed her mind. She nuzzled against the person beside her and murmured softly:
“Was it like this seven years ago, too?”
Her words faded into an intimate whisper, replaced by the steady rhythm of breathing. Mo Wang slowly opened her eyes, the corners slightly red, but there was no trace of sleepiness in them.
“Yes, you’d better take good responsibility for me.”
Thanks to Mo Wang, Mo Li slept unusually deeply, her consciousness sinking and drifting through fragments of vivid, shimmering memories until she reached a dream from thirteen years ago.
Back then, Mo Li went by a different name, Li Peiqian.
In the slums, children were all considered “money-losers.” They stole from their fathers, sold their mothers’ jewelry, and grew up like bandits, only to let fate decide their destinies on the day of their gender differentiation.
But Li Peiqian was no money-loser. Her adoptive father refused to raise a child who didn’t earn her keep, so she resorted to stealing, fighting, and scavenging to fill her stomach. Occasionally, she would bring home alcohol to avoid a beating.
On the day the Mo family came for her, Li Peiqian was actually doing relatively well, she had just eaten a large meal of leftovers and her stomach was full to bursting.
It wasn’t because she was greedy; she had learned to eat as much as possible so that when her adoptive father beat her, she could vomit more, making it look severe. That way, her father, afraid of incurring high corpse disposal fees, would stop.
But just as she finished retching, a group of oddly dressed people barged into the room. Li Peiqian had never seen clothes that weren’t dull and gray, let ones as shiny as theirs. She stared, mesmerized, not even noticing as her adoptive father was dragged away with his arm twisted behind his back.
What followed felt like a dream. She was taken to a place reeking of pungent odors, scanned from head to toe with cold metal devices, and finally, someone pinched their nose and gave her a bath.
The water was scalding hot, and the scrubbing was thorough, leaving her entire body sore. Fortunately, after the bath, someone handed her a fragrant fruit bread.
It was just too little, she thought. If she were to be beaten later, she’d try biting the tip of her tongue.
After finishing the meal, Li Peiqian was bundled into a car and taken to a villa estate, where she had her first encounter with Mo Wang.
