- Reincarnated as a Sickly Princess, She was Kidnapped by the Evil Dragon Lady
- Chapter 1 - The Frail Princess, Elysia
Within the borders of the Roland Empire, a sharp newborn cry rang out to herald the arrival of a new life.
However, when all eyes turned toward the infant girl, they were met with a startling sight: a shock of snow-white hair crowning her head. In this world, it was common knowledge that those born with white hair were harbingers of calamity. Tradition held that wherever such a person appeared, misfortune was sure to follow both the land and its people.
The girl’s father happened to be King Rhodas, the ruler of the Roland Empire. As he stared down at the white-haired babe, his heart became a tangled mess of conflicting emotions.
“Sigh…”
King Rhodas understood all too well what a child like this could represent for his reign and his country. Yet, as he gazed at the delicate, lovely infant, his joy at her birth withered into a heavy, helpless sigh.
Could he truly bring himself to abandon his youngest daughter?

In the blink of an eye, twenty years had passed.
Inside an exquisite bedroom within the royal palace, a young woman lay atop a grand bed centered in the room. She stood no more than five-foot-three, with skin as pale as porcelain and features of breathtaking beauty. Her long, black hair was spread across the mattress, covering nearly half the bed’s surface; its sheer length suggested that if she stood, it would easily cascade past her waist.
Her long eyelashes fluttered before she slowly opened her eyes, revealing a pair of haunting, amethyst-colored pupils.
“Where… where is this?”
Elysia stared up at the unfamiliar ceiling and tried to push herself up. Even this simple movement felt as though it drained every ounce of her strength, leaving her breathing heavily from the exertion.
“I don’t remember my body being this weak,” she murmured to herself, though she didn’t yet realize that her voice sounded entirely different than before.
As she scanned her surroundings, she found the room completely unrecognizable. “Where am I?”
Just as she attempted to swing her legs out of bed, a sharp sting shot through the top of her head.
“Ah!”
Wincing in pain, she sat back down and realized she had been sitting on her own hair. She reached back and pulled the tresses in front of her eyes, her confusion deepening.
“Have I… have I been unconscious for over a decade? How did my hair get so long?”
She continued to mutter to herself, only now catching the strange, unfamiliar lilt in her voice. She looked around once more until her gaze landed on the vanity mirror nearby. The reflection staring back at her left her utterly stunned.
Seeing the ethereal, long-haired girl in the mirror caused Elysia’s mind to stall. Her brain struggled to process the image until she finally reached a singular, baffling conclusion.
She had… turned into a beautiful girl?
Before she could react further, the bedroom door was pushed open. A maid appeared in the doorway, freezing for a moment when she saw Elysia sitting up. A look of pure joy broke across the maid’s face as she cried out.
“The… the little Princess is awake! The Princess is awake!”
The maid sprinted away while shouting those bewildering words, leaving Elysia sitting alone in a daze.
It wasn’t long before six people filed into the room. Leading them was a man whose dignified bearing and stern expression marked him as someone of immense status. However, the moment he saw her, the cold authority in his face visibly softened.
Before Elysia could speak, a mature woman of extraordinary beauty rushed past the man and threw her arms around Elysia, pulling her into a tight embrace.
“My little Elysia! How could you be so foolish as to do such a thing?”
Elysia could feel the raw, genuine desperation in the woman’s voice. Despite having no idea who this person was, Elysia instinctively wrapped her arms around her. There was an aura of warmth and familiarity radiating from the woman that made it impossible to feel even a shred of hostility toward her.
