Su Qingmo, the newly appointed CEO, is breathtakingly beautiful but possesses a gaze so distant and cold that she seems utterly unapproachable.
Standing in the crowd, Lin Qian poked her head out to take a look, not giving it much thought. As a low-level employee, she figured she would never have anything to do with the CEO anyway…
At that moment, the icy CEO’s gaze bypassed everyone else and “stuck” firmly onto Lin Qian. Colleagues: “?” Lin Qian: “??”
Lin Qian originally thought it was a coincidence. But the next day, the manager who loved giving her a hard time resigned. The coworkers who gossiped behind her back were fired. Even the ugly potted plant she hated was packed up and replaced.
On her way home, streetlights were installed in the dark alleyway. The poor, lame stray cat was adopted by a kind soul. Even her noisy neighbor moved out without a word.
Everything was going so smoothly, so perfectly—as if someone were secretly sweeping away every annoyance in her life, big or small.
Synopsis II: Su Qingmo once had a wife whom she cherished more than life itself—a woman she feared would melt if held too tight or break if handled too roughly.
But shortly into their married life, Su Qingmo suddenly traveled seven years back into the past. The woman who used to lie in her arms was now just a stranger. Su Qingmo sighed. What else could she do? She’d just have to woo her all over again.
Mini-Scene: At the office door, a colleague held a report covered in red ink, apologizing or trembling: “President, I shouldn’t have made such a basic mistake.” Su Qingmo signed a document without even lifting her eyelids: “Go to HR and collect your final paycheck.”
Seeing this, Lin Qian, who was standing at the door with a report that was just as bad—lowered her head to stare at her shoes, unable to speak clearly: “I… I’m sorry, I…”
Su Qingmo looked up instantly. Her cold eyes softened with a smile as she gestured tenderly to Lin Qian: “Come in. I’ll teach you how to fix it.”
The office door closed, and the transparent glass turned frosted. Inside, looking at the “new” report, Lin Qian’s face turned bright red. Su Qingmo twirled her fountain pen, her voice cool yet slightly raspy as she chuckled: “Wife, have you learned it now?”
One-line Summary: I didn’t want to call her “Wife” yet, but she keeps reeling me in.
Theme: Everyone is a unique and beautiful existence.
