Reborn a Scummy Alpha, Happily Ever After with the Movie Queen - Chapter 62
By the time Wen Tang realized what was happening, she was already inside Ye Youyi’s apartment.
Looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings, she blinked in confusion.
“Why, why did you bring me here?”
Ye Youyi pushed the door open, hooking her pinky around Wen Tang’s finger. Her fingertip drew lazy circles in Wen Tang’s palm, her tone plaintive and teasing.
“Didn’t you say you couldn’t remember anything?”
As she spoke, she quietly shut the door.
“This is my place. QiuQiu doesn’t live here.”
The Omega’s voice softened into a tender murmur, making Wen Tang’s mind go blank for a moment.
Then Ye Youyi tugged her toward the bedroom. Wen Tang quickly grabbed the doorframe, her throat tightening nervously.
“W–What are you going to do?”
Ye Youyi stepped closer, her arms slipping around Wen Tang’s waist, eyes brimming with wounded sorrow.
“You’ve been away from me for so long, don’t you even want to hold me? Kiss me?”
“Or is it because you still mind that I broke up with you without asking for an explanation?”
By the end, the Omega’s voice was trembling, tinged with the sound of tears.
Wen Tang panicked instantly. She held Ye Youyi with one arm, using the other to gently wipe away the tears sliding down her cheeks.
“That’s not it! I never blamed you. Back then, I was bound by the Wen family—I had no choice but to return. I only ever blamed myself for being too weak to fight back. How could I blame you for ending things?”
Her tone was soft, her palm caressing Ye Youyi’s delicate face.
“Besides, when I left you, it was to protect you. I couldn’t let the Wen family find out about you. It was the only way I could have my hands free to deal with them.”
Ye Youyi caught Wen Tang’s hand and held it tightly.
“Then now, will you still be with me?”
“Of course. This time, I won’t let go again.”
Wen Tang lifted Ye Youyi’s chin, leaned in, and kissed her.
It had been so long since their last touch that Wen Tang’s kiss was filled with aching tenderness—gentle, deliberate, tasting every trace of warmth on those soft lips.
After a while, Ye Youyi pushed lightly at her chest, voice trembling and sweet.
“G–Go take a shower.”
Wen Tang raised an eyebrow, heat stirring deep inside her. Staring at the girl’s flushed face, all the longing she’d buried for so long suddenly surged to the surface. She swept Ye Youyi up in her arms and carried her toward the bathroom.
“W–What are you doing?” Ye Youyi struggled faintly, but when she couldn’t break free, she gave in and looped her arms around Wen Tang’s neck.
Her glands brushed against Wen Tang’s fingertips, sending a shiver through both of them. Wen Tang’s gaze darkened. She brushed her lips against Ye Youyi’s reddened mouth and whispered,
“Didn’t you say I’d already marked you once? I might’ve forgotten, maybe you should help me remember.”
As they stepped into the bathroom, Wen Tang stretched out a long leg and used her foot to hook the door shut with a soft click.
She didn’t turn on the light. The faint glow from the frosted glass door outside cast a hazy veil over the dim room, blurring the edges of everything, wrapping the air in an unspoken, delicate tension.
Wen Tang set Ye Youyi down but kept an arm around her waist, pinning her gently against the door. Her lips found Ye Youyi’s again, deeper this time, feverish and consuming.
She unfastened the top of her shirt and shrugged off her jacket.
“Mm—You.” Whatever Ye Youyi meant to say was swallowed by the next kiss.
Wen Tang’s tongue slipped past her lips, tasting, claiming, exploring every inch of sweetness she’d missed.
A cool draft brushed over Ye Youyi’s bare arm, followed by a breath of air across her chest. Startled, she instinctively raised her hands to cover herself.
Holding her close, Wen Tang guided them beneath the showerhead. Her lips trailed down to Ye Youyi’s slender neck, where the faint scent of milk lingered, dizzying and tender.
Her blood thrummed hot beneath her skin. She tightened her hold on Ye Youyi’s waist and turned on the shower. A rush of warm water cascaded down over them, soaking through their clothes.
Her fangs slipped out, pressing against the soft curve of Ye Youyi’s gland. Wen Tang’s tongue flicked at her lips, tasting the air. Feeling the girl in her arms go weak, trembling, she finally sank her fangs in.
“Mm.”
Ye Youyi bit her lip, stifling the small, helpless sound that escaped her throat as the temporary mark took hold.
The scent of pear from Wen Tang’s pheromones spread, intertwining with the Omega’s milky sweetness. Wen Tang’s mind burned white-hot; she could only hold her tighter as everything blurred into sensation.
Water streamed down, soaking the two of them completely.
Ye Youyi’s limbs felt boneless; she leaned weakly against Wen Tang, crying softly against her shoulder.
“Look at me,” Wen Tang murmured hoarsely, her fingers tracing the Omega’s flushed skin, her touch searing and electric.
Ye Youyi lifted her head tearfully. In the dim light, her eyes shimmered, fragile and beautiful like a flower waiting to be plucked.
Wen Tang bent down and captured her lips again.
It wasn’t until midnight that the sound of running water finally stopped, along with Ye Youyi’s quiet sobs.
When Wen Tang turned on the light, she reached for a towel, wrapping it around Ye Youyi before stripping off her own wet clothes and covering herself as well.
Looking at the trembling girl in her arms, she let out a low chuckle and lifted her easily.
“Still daring to tease me now?”
Ye Youyi was too weak to answer properly. Her eyes fluttered half-shut, her body limp and soft as she nestled against Wen Tang.
Hearing that question, she gave a faint hum, then leaned up to bite at the corner of Wen Tang’s mouth.
“Ah.”
Wen Tang drew in a sharp breath and quickly carried her to the bedroom, closing the door behind them.
Ye Youyi lay against the pale pink sheets, her long hair fanned out like silk. She looked like a siren washed ashore—gorgeous, glistening, and irresistible.
“You’re seducing me again,” Wen Tang accused.
Ye Youyi licked her lips, her eyes glimmering with mischief.
“I didn’t do anything.”
Wen Tang didn’t bother replying. She lowered her head and kissed her again—letting action speak louder than words.
The next morning, sunlight streamed through the window, rousing Wen Tang from sleep.
For a moment, she was dazed. Then her hand brushed against something soft and warm beside her. Turning her head, she saw Ye Youyi still asleep, her breathing gentle, face peaceful.
Wen Tang carefully shifted closer, her gaze lingering on that serene expression.
After a while, Ye Youyi stirred, as though sensing the weight of Wen Tang’s gaze. Her lashes fluttered, and when she opened her eyes, she found Wen Tang watching her quietly.
“Good morning,” she whispered, smiling as she wrapped her arms around Wen Tang’s neck and kissed her lightly.
The kiss was fleeting, a soft brush before she pulled back, intending to get up—but Wen Tang caught her arm, pressing her gently back into the bed.
A rain of kisses followed, tender and unending.
By the time they finally got out of bed, the clock had already passed noon.
They had just washed up and were about to make lunch when Ye Youyi’s phone rang—it was Qiu Qiu calling.
“Qiu Qiu?”
“Xiao Ye! We’re in trouble—big trouble!” Qiu Qiu’s voice was frantic, like a panicked bird fluttering in a cage.
Ye Youyi waited for her to calm down a little before asking carefully,
“What happened?”
Qiu Qiu let out a shaky breath.
“You were photographed with Wen Tang last night! Someone caught you two together—and the pictures are out! Your face is crystal clear. Wen Tang’s only in profile and half hidden by the light, but anyone can tell it’s her!”
Her voice rose in alarm.
“How could something so intimate get caught on camera?”
