Reborn a Scummy Alpha, Happily Ever After with the Movie Queen - Chapter 54
The female Omega was pushed backward, stumbling a few steps before pressing against the wall. Her exaggerated makeup and wide-eyed expression at that moment gave her a somewhat eerie appearance.
Ye Youyi, however, had no time to pay attention to her. She gripped Wen Tang’s pale wrist tightly, a storm of emotions churning in her heart.
She hadn’t expected to see Wen Tang here.
“Hey! I spotted her first! You’re shameless!” the Omega against the wall snapped at Ye Youyi, trying to step forward and pull her away.
Ye Youyi held Wen Tang’s hand firmly. When the Omega tried to tug her, she didn’t let go. Instead, she stumbled slightly to the side, bringing Wen Tang with her.
Just as Wen Tang was about to lose her balance, she planted one hand against the wall and reached with the other to steady Ye Youyi by the waist, preventing her from falling.
“Why are you yelling so loudly, what are you doing?” Wen Tang leaned against Ye Youyi, pulling her behind herself.
Seeing their closeness, the Omega bristled. “You two, know each other?”
“N—No, we don’t!” Wen Tang’s gaze grew hazy. Instinctively, she wanted to protect the Omega behind her. There was something soft and familiar about her scent.
Ye Youyi paused, then lightly bit her lip, her eyes complex as she stared at the back of Wen Tang’s head. Her grip on Wen Tang’s sleeve tightened.
Wen Tang actually claimed not to know her?
Clearly, she was drunk—she didn’t even recognize her.
“Hey! She said she doesn’t know you! Let go of her already!” The Omega, realizing the Alpha was intoxicated, didn’t argue further and turned her attention to the seemingly delicate Omega behind her.
Ye Youyi’s mood was already sour. Hearing Wen Tang deny knowing her, and seeing the other Omega scold her, she didn’t hold back: “Whether she knows me or not really has nothing to do with you!”
Just as tensions rose, the dizzy Wen Tang clung to Ye Youyi’s hand, leaning against her, inhaling the sweet milky scent of her body. “Your, your scent, hiccups, feels so familiar.”
“Snap out of it!” Ye Youyi pushed her away and gently tapped her face. “Do you see who I am now?”
“Hiccups, you, you seem my baby Xiao Ye.”
Ye Youyi: “?”
They had dated for several months before, and Wen Tang had never called her “Baby.” She hadn’t expected that after breaking up, Wen Tang would suddenly call her that.
As Ye Youyi was lost in thought, Wen Tang nuzzled her shoulder, wriggling against her.
The Alpha’s pear-scented sweetness was intoxicating, and Ye Youyi felt a fleeting warmth. It had been so long since they’d held each other like this.
She turned to the unconscious Alpha, sighed internally, and helped her out of the bar.
The hesitant Omega could only watch them leave. There was nothing she could do—judging by the Alpha’s reaction, they must know each other. The Alpha might be attractive, but she wouldn’t take someone else’s mate.
Outside the bar, Ye Youyi hailed a cab and sent Qiu Qiu a message, telling her to head home.
At a nearby hotel, Ye Youyi struggled to help Wen Tang out of the car, booked a room, and carried her to the elevator.
The drunk Alpha’s entire weight pressed onto Ye Youyi, exhausting her.
Finally in the room, Ye Youyi, panting, threw Wen Tang onto the soft bed.
But the Alpha’s hand still looped around her waist, pulling her onto the bed as well.
Ye Youyi pushed Wen Tang aside, nearly collapsing from fatigue.
She slowly sat up, glanced at the flushed Alpha, and leaned over to undo a button at her collar. “Better?”
Wen Tang’s soft voice seemed to whisper in her ear. Half-awake, she squinted to see Ye Youyi’s face before instinctively clutching her hand.
“Am I, am I dreaming?”
Before Ye Youyi could respond, Wen Tang grabbed her wrist, flipped their positions, and pinned her beneath herself.
Her eyes unfocused yet locked onto the delicate, alluring face beneath her.
Ye Youyi tried to move, but Wen Tang’s strength was overwhelming.
“Wen Tang! Stop fooling around!” she blushed, seeing the Alpha inching closer.
The next moment, all her words were silenced by Wen Tang’s lips.
The soft touch made Ye Youyi’s eyes widen. She hadn’t expected that, even after breaking up, Wen Tang would come to Qinghe drunk and kiss her.
Just when she thought it was merely a simple kiss, the alpha’s slightly aggressive aura suddenly enveloped her, lingering intimately as if trying to draw all the air from her lungs. Ye Youyi felt herself struggling to resist.
Back when they had been together, Wen Tang had always been restrained, never this ferocious in her closeness. She had thought Wen Tang was a gentle person—but she hadn’t expected her to have this undeniably dominant side?
The scorching kiss drifted from her lips, inching down to her neck.
Ye Youyi couldn’t hold back a soft moan.
The drowsy alpha seemed even more delighted. The hand that had been gripping Ye Youyi’s now brushed lightly over her wrist, and soon, the scent of ripe pears filled the room, thick and pervasive.
Affected by the alpha’s pheromones, Ye Youyi’s glands stirred, and her cheeks flushed deeper.
She pushed lightly at Wen Tang. “Wen Tang, you, you should stop.”
But her warm breath brushed against Wen Tang’s nose, making the alpha shiver slightly. Desire flared in Wen Tang’s hazy eyes.
Once unrestrained, Wen Tang was driven purely by instinct. She leaned toward Ye Youyi’s neck, and upon sensing more and more of the omega’s scent, she pressed herself against Ye Youyi’s glands.
Immediately, Ye Youyi’s mind went blank—she didn’t even know where she was. Her vision blurred, unable to discern the expression on the person beside her.
In her daze, Wen Tang bared her fangs and instinctively grazed the omega.
Without conscious thought, she let her pheromones flow slowly into Ye Youyi, completing a temporary mark.
“Mm.” Being marked by an alpha for the first time, Ye Youyi felt as if wings had sprouted from her back, lifting her into the sky. Soft clouds surrounded her, enveloping her in a blissful, comforting warmth.
But when Wen Tang withdrew her fangs, a wave of exhaustion hit, leaving Ye Youyi unable to lift her hands.
Tears brimmed in her eyes, her eyelids reddened, giving her the aura of a mortal goddess—so captivating that Wen Tang couldn’t look away.
Wen Tang leaned closer once more, her fingers trembling as they intertwined with Ye Youyi’s.
Outside, birds began to chirp faintly with the morning light.
Seeing Wen Tang drift into a deep sleep, Ye Youyi wrapped herself in her clothes and covered the alpha with a blanket before limping into the bathroom.
After a hot shower, she emerged wrapped in a towel.
Raising her hand, she noticed the marks across her body. Biting her lip, she went to the bedside and gently pinched Wen Tang’s cheek. “You bastard, did you come to Qinghe on purpose? Did you plan to do something naughty all along?”
But the alpha was sound asleep, oblivious to her words and touch.
Ignoring the soreness in her own body, Ye Youyi stared at her. “Did you miss me?”
That’s why she came to Qinghe.
But it was impossible between them.
Wen Tang would eventually marry another omega, live her life with someone else.
It could never be them.
Tonight, would have to be treated as a dream.
A beautiful, unforgettable dream.
Ye Youyi silently dressed, opened the window to air out the room until her own scent disappeared, then picked up her phone and prepared to leave.
At the door, she couldn’t resist glancing back at the sleeping alpha on the bed. Whispering softly, she said, “Goodbye.”
Sunlight streamed through the window and struck Wen Tang’s eyes, gradually rousing her from sleep.
As she woke, her body felt off—especially her right hand, which felt weak and powerless.
Slowly sitting up, she rubbed her arm. “What happened?”
Her gaze swept the unfamiliar surroundings.
White walls, frosted glass, pristine bedding—all signs indicated she was in a hotel room.
Suddenly, everything clicked. She looked down at herself.
Her neck was bare—she seemed to be without clothes.
Shock coursed through her. Hastily, she pulled back the blanket—and indeed, she wasn’t wearing anything!
And, there was a dark red stain beneath her?
What was that?
Recalling the weakness in her right hand upon waking, Wen Tang’s expression froze as she slowly extended her hand. Seeing streaks of red between her fingers, her entire body went rigid.
Last night, last night.
Did she do something naughty?
Who did she do it to?
Wen Tang closed her eyes, trying desperately to recall the events of the previous night.
But she remembered nothing.
