Pregnant With the Villain Boss’ Baby - Chapter 6
In a high-end restaurant, Yun Lan followed Yang Chen inside, where she spotted Yun Mu standing before a private, secluded VIP suite on the top floor. Yun Mu was wearing a hat and mask to conceal her famous face.
“Mommy!”
With her short legs moving as fast as they could, Yun Lan lunged forward and hugged Yun Mu’s long legs. She looked up, her face radiant with a brilliant smile, her large eyes sparkling with cleverness.
“What are you thinking about?” Yun Mu asked, arching an eyebrow as she looked down at her daughter.
“Is Mommy going to give me a surprise?” Yun Lan giggled. Her gaze was like that of a cat who had just successfully swiped a fish—playful and more than a little cunning.
Yun Mu didn’t say a word. She simply reached out and rapped Yun Lan on the head. She knew perfectly well that this little genius wouldn’t forget it was her own birthday.
“Hehehe.” This time, Yun Lan didn’t act aggrieved. She just let out a silly laugh, her eyes fixed on the closed door as if she were trying to burn a hole through it with her mind.
“Stop struggling and just go in,” Yun Mu said with an amused pat on the head.
“Yay!” Yun Lan gave a cheer and pushed the door open, charging inside.
“Yun Mu,” Yang Chen called out softly, stepping up to her side.
“Thank you for bringing her,” Yun Mu nodded. Given her celebrity status, it was difficult for her to appear in public places without a driver or security, and Yang Chen was the only person she could rely on for help.
“It’s no trouble, I—” Yang Chen’s words cut off abruptly. Her face turned deathly pale, and she forced a weak smile. “I’ll head inside first.”
“…Okay.” Seeing Yang Chen’s strange reaction, Yun Mu frowned. She glanced behind her, but the hallway was empty. What on earth did she see?
Though confused, Yun Mu didn’t want to pry into Yang Chen’s obvious distress. She followed her into the suite and gently pulled the door shut.
She didn’t know that the very moment her door clicked shut, a figure stepped quickly around the corner of the hallway. The person’s eyes scanned the corridor restlessly, searching for someone. Finding no one, they left with a look of deep disappointment.
Inside the suite, Yun Lan was screaming with delight. She was spinning in circles in the center of the room, her small hands waving in the air, her face full of pure, unadulterated joy.
In the center of the room stood a child-sized suit of mecha, mounted on a white mannequin.
It featured a cool, full-coverage helmet that protected the entire head, with a black visor that reportedly provided tactical data to the wearer. The entire suit was crafted from specialized mecha materials designed to absorb impact and increase defense. It looked like a miniature version of a professional battle robot.
The exterior was a vibrant, fiery red. Its flawless, polished curves gleamed under the lights, radiating an expensive, high-end quality.
This was a “Lightweight Model,” designed specifically for children whose bodies hadn’t fully developed and whose mental strength wasn’t yet stable. It used a tiny amount of mental energy as a baseline to augment a child’s strength, defense, and reaction speed, while still relying on the child’s physical movements as the primary power source.
It was meant to satisfy a child’s curiosity about mecha without the danger. Professional mecha required a direct neural link and were controlled entirely by mental power; if a child used one, their unstable mental strength could easily cause the mecha to go berserk. There had been many tragic cases in the past, leading to the popularity of these “Kid-Edition” suits.
Yun Mu had decided to have this custom-made as Yun Lan’s birthday present.
“Mommy, I love you so much!” Seeing Yun Mu enter, Yun Lan launched herself at her like a small cannonball. She puckered her lips, ready to shower her mother with wet kisses.
Yun Mu dodged with a look of feigned disgust. She removed her hat and mask, revealing a face devoid of any makeup. Even without a hint of powder, her beauty was staggering. Since she wasn’t planning on being “seen” by the public, she hadn’t bothered with her usual glam.
Sitting on the sofa, Yun Mu pushed the persistent child away and pointed to the seat next to her. “Sit properly. One more move and I’m confiscating your gift.”
“Yes, Ma’am!” Yun Lan suppressed her excitement instantly. Though she knew her mother was joking, she sat obediently by her side, leaning her small frame against Yun Mu’s side and holding her hand.
Yang Chen watched the pair. Seeing the two high-caliber beauties together—mother and daughter—was a sight to behold. She bit her lip slightly, wondering when she might ever find such happiness for herself.
In the suite right next door, the atmosphere was a sharp contrast to the joy of the birthday party. Here, the air was heavy, cold, and tense.
“This is the only data you could find?” a woman asked.
The woman was strikingly beautiful. Her pupils were deep and dark like a bottomless well, and there was a trace of frost in her eyes that felt like it could swallow a person whole. Her pale red lips were thin and curved slightly, but there was no warmth in that smile—only an underlying, regal pride.
Most striking was a small, round beauty mark just below her right eye. It served as a vivid contrast to her icy demeanor, lending her a peculiar, magnetic allure. She was tall and poised, sitting as straight as a cedar tree. Even in a simple shirt and black trousers, she exuded the natural authority of someone born to lead.
She sat elegantly on the sofa, long legs crossed, resting her chin on a folded fist. She held a thin stack of papers, her brow furrowed in clear dissatisfaction.
“Major General, I apologize. The remote planet she was on previously is in total disarray. Finding her full records there will take more time. However, we have a clear picture of everything she has done here over the last six months.”
The male Alpha standing across from her, whose face was rugged and stern, gave a bitter smile. He was clearly frustrated at failing to complete the General’s task.
But as for the content of that report… The Alpha suddenly felt a cold gaze on him. He looked up, met the woman’s eyes, and shivered. He quickly cleared his mind. Some things weren’t for him to think about.
“You may go. Gather the rest as quickly as possible,” the woman said with a wave of her hand.
“Understood!” The Alpha gave a sharp military salute and hurried out. He would not fail her twice.
“Sister, what are you looking for? Using the elite intelligence of the military to dig for gossip… isn’t that a bit overkill?”
The speaker was a man sitting nearby. Though he called her “sister,” they looked nothing alike. He had wavy blonde hair that shimmered under the light and deep, handsome features. His eyes were as clear and blue as the ocean. He wore a charming, sunny smile that naturally drew people in—though the glass of orange juice in his hand made him look a bit boyish.
The woman finally looked away from the file. Her eyes softened slightly, showing they were indeed close, but her words were sharp.
“Huan’an, are you done with your work? I recall giving you the mission to hunt down a Nest base not long ago…”
“Cough! Cough!” Lu Huan’an choked on his juice, looking at her with a resentful expression. “Sister, it’s a rare night off. Let me relax a bit…”
“Do you know the penalty for defying a military order?” she asked calmly, her eyes narrowing.
Lu Huan’an stood up with a long face, gulped down the rest of his juice, and started packing his things. He walked toward the door, looking back every few steps to see if his sister would take back her words.
But her attention was already back on the file. This time, her expression revealed a hint of… interest? And tenderness?
He rubbed his eyes, certain he was going blind. His sister—the “Ice Queen”—showing a look like that? He was dying of curiosity. He wanted to know what was in those papers, but…
“What are you standing there for?”
A cold female voice rang out. Unlike his sister’s voice, which was like a cool spring, this one was truly like ice—flat and devoid of emotion.
Lu Huan’an looked down. He hadn’t even realized the door had opened. A woman stood there, a full head shorter than him. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, and her features were beautiful but frozen. Her eyes were like stagnant water—lifeless and still. She wore a white lab coat over a professional pencil skirt, a look that emphasized her model-like figure while adding an aura of extreme restraint.
Huan’an rubbed his chin. What a waste. Such a high-quality Omega, yet she was an absolute “stone-face.” Countless Alphas had tried to pluck this “flower on a high peak,” only to return in defeat.
“Mo Fei, what are you doing here?”
“The data Lu Fengxu requested,” Mo Fei replied, her words short and frigid.
Tsk tsk. Only a few people dared to call his sister by her full name like that. Before he could process it, he was shoved out of the way. Bang! The door slammed in his face. If he hadn’t reacted quickly, his nose would have been flattened.
“These women,” Huan’an muttered. “Each one fiercer than the last. Hmph.”

Ignoring the idiot outside, Mo Fei walked straight to the woman known as Lu Fengxu. She unceremoniously dropped a thin sheet of paper on top of the files Lu Fengxu was reading.
“What you asked for.”
“Fast work.” Lu Fengxu didn’t blink. She naturally set aside the previous file and picked up the one Mo Fei had brought.
“When the Major General wants something, who dares to delay?” Mo Fei said, sitting down on the sofa without being asked.
Lu Fengxu didn’t reply. She opened the folder, and for a rare moment, her hands showed a slight tremor of nervousness. Mo Fei watched with interest, though knowing the contents, she wasn’t entirely surprised.
