“So you’re asking me to find some kid in front of me right now!”
Seo-yeon gasped, clutching Jae-hoon’s collar. “Please find him. Please find my child.”
It was the first time he’d heard her voice in two years.
She had appeared before Jae-hoon like a miracle, a man who had searched for her even in his dreams, and she opened her mouth.
‘Find my child. Whose child?’ he muttered blankly in his head.
Seo-yeon clung to Jae-hoon and said, as if vomiting, “It’s our child.”
“What, what did you say?”
“Our child. I thought he was dead, but he’s alive. But I went to find him, and he’s not there. Nowhere…”
If she had left while pregnant, taking a large sum of money with her, Jae-hoon would find it even harder to forgive her.
Jae-hoon gripped Seo-yeon’s shoulders tightly and said in a terrifying voice, “If this is a lie, I might kill you.
So, get a grip and tell me properly! Tell me it’s not true!” His last cry was almost a scream. He wanted it all to be a lie.
