“You’re not even my husband.”

“You’re not, you’re not my husband. If I got pregnant…”
“We’ll find out soon enough. Whether I marry you or not.”
He whispered with shocking arrogance.
He doesn’t intend to marry me, yet he won’t let me marry any other man. What exactly are we to each other?

Jerod tightly crumpled the letter left behind. His cold, blue eyes contorted in anguish.
