An Chun is an Omega with a genetic gland defect who was framed and forced to marry Xiang Zhiqing, the notorious “second young master” kicked out of the prestigious Xiang family. Rumor has it that this man is absolute trash a gambler, an alcoholic, and a domestic abuser with “special hobbies” who has ruined countless Omegas.
An Chun thought his life was over.
On their first day of marriage, it seemed his fears were confirmed: Xiang Zhiqing forced him into his room, tore his clothes to shreds, and even found the fruit knife An Chun had hidden under his pillow, snapping it in half with a cold sneer.
An Chun felt his blood run cold. He knew he was done for.
Meanwhile, from Xiang Zhiqing’s perspective:
Xiang Zhiqing thinks he’s having the worst luck in the world. He woke up in a strange world, living in a dilapidated rental apartment, eating disgusting nutritional paste, and saddled with a “wimpy roommate.”
This roommate is incredibly high-maintenance: his bed broke, but instead of sleeping on the sofa, he insisted on crowding into Xiang’s bed. His clothes were such poor quality that they ripped at a slight tug (now he probably wants compensation!). Worst of all, the guy wouldn’t just sleep, he kept reaching for a plastic “toy” under the pillow.
After Xiang accidentally snapped the toy, the roommate actually… did that to him!!!
An Chun’s internal monologue: To avoid being beaten to death, I must do something to please my new husband.
