My Possessive Boss Is Unexpectedly Needy - Chapter 5
Chapter 5
Yu Zining understood that feeling all too well. It was always Yu Yuemin who incurred the debts, yet it was always Yu Zining who had to bear the weight of them, only to end up being abandoned in the end.
Looking at the person before him who shared a similar fate, Yu Zining closed the door once more.
He Yilun was overjoyed to see this. Not treating himself like a stranger at all, he plopped down on the sofa. Turning his head, he noticed several award certificates belonging to Yu Zining on the wall.
“Yu Zining? Your name is Yu Zining?”
Yu Zining didn’t speak. He simply took out his keys and handed them to He Yilun.
He gestured: The keys are for you. You can stay here.
He Yilun was stunned for a moment before asking, “You mean… I can live here?”
Yu Zining nodded.
Seeing that Yu Zining was about to leave, He Yilun grabbed him. “Hey, where are you going?”
Yu Zining gestured: I don’t live here anymore.
“You don’t live here? Isn’t this your home?”
Yu Zining’s eyes darkened. For him, where was there left to call home?
He brushed off He Yilun’s hand and gestured: You can stay in this house as you please. I’m leaving.
He Yilun called out to Yu Zining’s retreating back, “Thank you! You can come back whenever you want—this is still your home!”
Yu Zining’s body trembled. For some reason, his eyes grew a little red. He didn’t look back; he simply walked straight downstairs.
By then, the bodyguards had already reached the bottom of the stairs. Seeing Yu Zining, they spoke hurriedly, “Madam, what took you so long?”
Yu Zining only glared at them before following them into the car.
…
Upstairs…
He Yilun stood by the window, watching Yu Zining get into the car below. His gaze was filled with an indescribable complexity. After a long silence, he simply remarked, “A pity… he’s a mute.”
…
Back at the Villa
When Yu Zining returned to the villa, Lu Yeyan was already back. Seeing Lu Yeyan’s frost-cold face, Yu Zining felt a wave of fear and intended to return to his room as quickly as possible.
“Stop!”
Lu Yeyan had seen him long ago and called out sharply. Yu Zining stood frozen in place, watching as Lu Yeyan rose and walked toward him.
Lu Yeyan’s slender fingers gently stroked Yu Zining’s cheek. Zining’s brow furrowed, his eyes dropped, and he bit his lip hard. Feeling Yu Zining’s slight trembling, Lu Yeyan’s expression instantly soured.
He grabbed Yu Zining’s chin, pinching his cheek firmly. Standing tall and overbearing, he looked like a demon from hell.
“Are you afraid of me?”
Yu Zining shook his head frantically. He couldn’t let Lu Yeyan get angry—he absolutely couldn’t—yet his tears betrayed him, streaming down nonetheless.
Seeing those two trails of tears, Lu Yeyan became even more volatile. He grabbed Yu Zining and dragged him into the master bedroom. Before Yu Zining could react, he was thrown onto the bed.
Lu Yeyan pinned him down. His unpredictable temperament terrified Yu Zining, who looked up at the man staring at him as if he were a mere plaything.
Lu Yeyan spoke coldly, “Allowing you to go home was my greatest act of leniency. Do not push your luck!”
With that, Lu Yeyan pressed his lips forcefully against Zining’s. He plundered like a wild beast, leaving Yu Zining suffocating and unable to breathe.
Lu Yeyan moved down to his neck and bit down hard. The flash of bright red blood stimulated his eyes, making Lu Yeyan even more excited.
Yu Zining gripped the bedsheets deathly hard. Something was wrong with Lu Yeyan. If Lu Yeyan intended to… then the fact that he was a man would be exposed instantly.
Lu Yeyan’s hand began to move toward Yu Zining’s thigh, making him startle in shock. Yu Zining bit his lip so hard that the metallic taste of blood filled his mouth. He closed his eyes tight, waiting for “death” to arrive, tears spilling from the corners of his eyes.
But Lu Yeyan stopped.
He stared at Yu Zining, his ragged breath hitting Zining’s face. After a long while, he stood up, straightened his clothes, and looked down at him. There was no emotion in his eyes—only perhaps a flicker of pity.
Seeing Lu Yeyan get up, Yu Zining shrunk into a corner, wrapping the quilt tightly around his chest.
Lu Yeyan left him with only one sentence: “On our wedding night, you will be mine forever.”
Once again, Lu Yeyan abandoned Yu Zining in the room.
The wedding night? It was coming soon. Yu Zining looked down at his clenched hands. This volatile Lu Yeyan was too terrifying. He couldn’t imagine what would happen the day Lu Yeyan discovered he was a man.
He couldn’t stay here any longer. Since Yu Yuemin had already fled, they should be safe for now. There was no need for Yu Zining to remain in this tiger’s den. He had to find a way to escape.
After thinking for a long time, Yu Zining eventually drifted off to sleep.
…
The Next Morning…
Lu Yeyan was gone. Yu Zining felt a secret sense of relief; this was the perfect time to scout the surroundings. He pretended to admire the view while actually observing the perimeter. However, the villa was guarded on all sides by Lu Yeyan’s men. No one inside could leave, and no one outside could enter.
Panic began to set in. Then, a thought occurred to him. He had to take a risk.
He went to Butler Gu and gestured: Take me to see Lu Yeyan. I have something important.
Since it was to see Lu Yeyan, Gu Yuan saw no reason to worry and immediately arranged a car and bodyguards.
…
YIY Group
Lu Yeyan, having just finished a meeting, entered his office to find Yu Zining sitting there. Yu Zining stood up abruptly and forced a strained smile.
Lu Yeyan seemed to be in a good mood. He walked over and sat in front of Zining. “Looking for me?”
Yu Zining nodded.
“Go on. What is it?”
Yu Zining gestured: I want to go home to get my household registration (Hukou). If we’re going to put on a full performance, you wouldn’t want anyone to find a loophole, right?
Lu Yeyan paused, a strange glint flashing in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure. With a smirk, he pulled Yu Zining by the waist into his lap. He hooked Zining’s chin and teased, “You really are my ‘good wife,’ aren’t you?”
Surprisingly, Lu Yeyan let him go easily. This effortless departure made Yu Zining feel even more nervous. Maybe I’m overthinking it, he comforted himself.
He returned home, telling the bodyguards to stay downstairs. He knocked on the door; he had given the keys to He Yilun and didn’t know if he was still there.
“Who is it?”
Fortunately, he hadn’t left. He Yilun opened the door and saw the panicked Yu Zining standing there.
